I'd say this is the most likely. It'll probably be brick water in the actual thing.

It looks quite similar to his series 5 hair so not totally different.

LEGO Disney Minifigures - Quick look!
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just bought Buzz Lightyear off Ebay for £3.40 before he becomes rare and hard to get hold of without paying a ridiculous price like £4.99. Probably only be able to get him by paying £1 extra than the cost of a bag or feeling the packets (which I'm not very good at) anyway. -
I'm not sure figures based on licensed brands work as well with yellow-skin. I would have opted for flesh-skin personally. The rest of the build is great though.

Who cares about consistent internal logic? I'd rather they threw logic out of the window and decided which minifigures need new moulds based on what would capture the character best. LEGO slipped up by not giving Captain Hook a new head mould.- 4,155 replies

The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017)

The LEGO Ninjago Movie sounds as though its focus is on school students and Harry Potter was about school students. Also; it had quite a big element of prophecy. -

Thanks. I managed to find somebody in York who held a LEGO exhibition there called Yorbix. -

Could be a parody of the Harry Potter films, seeing as the wizarding school Hogwarts had a big presence in them. -
Hello, I study Film and TV Production at the University of York and as part of my assessment I have to direct a TV studio show about LEGO a week on Thursday between 9:45 and 10:30am. Are there any experts on here who are from the UK and don't mind being on camera? EDIT: Just realised I put 'experts' plural in the title. I'm looking for one expert who lives in York and therefore would be able to get to the university.

Just looked at some Pacific Rim pictures and it doesn't look very LEGO... -
The only problem there is gadgets and vehicles. Ron could have the Flying Ford Anglia but what could be Hermione's in the team pack? Maybe a buildable version of her bag that's bigger on the inside from Deathly Hallows but it wouldn't be the most exciting build.

Cinderella's Castle without Cinderella ? Wow, that's beyond stupid. I was hoping me and my brother would be able to share the cost and buy it for my Mum who loves Cinderella but there's not much point if Cinderella isn't even included as a minifigure. Disney World set or not, it's called Cinderella's Castle not Tinkerbell's.
-
It would make much more sense though given the name. I imagine there would be a lot of confusion if a Cinderella's Castle set didn't feature Cinderella. The point in question was a set based off the original Disneyland (sorry...Disney World but I don't see how it matters anyway, they're all Disney theme parks) not that LEGO/Disney would say it's a set based off the logo. My point is I can't see LEGO releasing a set based off a theme park because it's never going to mean much to those of us who haven't been to the original Disneyl -whatever. Seriously, we're nitpicking over a name now when most likely call all Disney theme parks Disneyland anyway? It is if it is based specifically on a theme park. Not outside of the Disney Princesses line for girls. There isn't an adult minifigure D2C one that would be appealing to many as it would make a nice gift for mothers and women in general as opposed to just young girls. Actually, he said he assumed it was not that it definitely is.

There's no argument to be made against the iconography of the park but I just don't see why LEGO would make a Disney set based on the original theme park rather than based on one of the Walt Disney Classics. The problem with making it based on an attraction is it becomes a souvenir and not many people who haven't been to the original Disneyland are likely to buy it. It would become more of a niche product only really good for selling at Disney theme parks, whereas a lot more people will have seen the original Cinderella film at some point in their lives and even if they haven't a live action remake came out only last year. I know what you're going to say: many go to Disneyland. And yes, they do. But it will still be a vast minority compared to the amount of people who have seen the Walt Disney Classics.

LEGO Disney Minifigures - Quick look!
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
He just doesn't look right to me at all. I have no idea what Disney were thinking when they decided not to make a new head mould for the one character that needed it more than any of the others in the series. -
I doubt they'd do a Disney set based on Disneyland. To me that would be like making a Doctor Who set based on the Doctor Who Experience. If a set is called Cinderella's Castle, you expect Cinderella to feature as a minifigure. Otherwise you may as well call it Disneyland Castle.
-
Maybe he was script consultant?
-
I disagree. Like with Doctor Who, there are many iconic Harry Potter characters they could release as NFC minifigures.

You are totally wrong that they are all the best they could be in minifigure form. Captain Hook could be so much better if he had a new head mould with his distinctive nose. -
I can understand Pluto and Goofy due to being along with Mickey among the main five Disney characters but why would Woody, Lilo, Jasmine or the White Rabbit be included in a Cinderella set? If there's only one exclusive minifigure, I'd expect it to be Cinderella not Goofy. You can't have Cinderella's Castle without Cinderella.

Sounds a bit like forestfire101 on YouTube's LEGO Batman movies, where Robin is the irritable young sidekick.
