  1. I've built a few of others MOCs and have included PF in them, was not worth the cost of the PF as they mostly are displays. If the PF is visible and adds to the visual aspects, put them in or MOD it. If you're going to just display it, why pay the extra money for PF? Just my thoughts.
  2. Took me a bit of time to see it! I had problems finding DBG pieces for a set I was building yesterday, was looking toward the Sun for about 2 hours on the drive home from the LEGO Store. I'm not color blind at all, but I understand how much of a pain in the butt it can be. :classic:
  3. Love the doors, and overall design of the building. I've never shopped at a Whole Foods but no shopping carts? Just one or two would help the "look" .
  4. Not just the sand greens, the tan selection would be nice too! At my local (2 hours away) store, last 3 trips there only had 2x2 tiles and 4x6 plates in tan. Would like some tan 1xX bricks! Whatever, I'm just glad I have a store this close to me considering I live in the sticks. I'm guessing there is a boat load on BrickLink and that other site now for a hefty price each.
  5. Great! Now if someone could build one that could wash my 75lb pitbull.
  6. I did something similar to this, but yours looks WAY better than what I did!
  7. Great review sir. I have it, just haven't built it yet, along with a bunch of other sets. Not a big fan of the stickers on the disks, but they do look nice and add to the model.
  8. Love GBC in general, but it is nice to see Friends to get in the action for a change!
  9. 42009 and right after 9398 thanks to my wife. She had no idea how bad it was going to get! My son was getting in to LEGO, but I wasn't back until I had my hands on a Technic set.
  10. Love the checker board firewall! Great detail work!
  11. Holy crap, that is awesome!! Will it do 88 MPH???
  12. I hope they stay in the family, my son would love to have all mine now! My wife has some idea of the value, not just in $$ but value to me. I told her to cremate me and put me in a urn made of LEGO. She told me I have to build it before I die so I am taking my time to prolong my life.
  13. Cool!! Might have to get the black light out of storage and try it out!
  14. I do not save them, but you are right that they don't take much space. Save them if you want, but I don't think there is a large market for them.
  15. Personally, I would not open them if you want to sell them. If it was a set you always wanted since you were 10 and would never sell, then open it. If you do open it, save the box. It is yours, do what your heart desires.
  16. I missed out on the last one. Looking forward to this one! My parents lived in Germany (Dad was in the US Army) for a time long before I was born and had a VW Bug there. When they came back to the States they owned a few more. I remember riding in one during the Minnesota winters, the heater sucked in those!!
  17. Well, crap then.
  18. Best answer! My mind was shooting for the gutter!
  19. Was hoping the Friends coaster would be better/bigger to add to the fairground sets. A bumper car set would be easy enough for them to put out, they could use #30303 Joker Bumper Car. I have a MOC I'm working on now of that with about 95% of the pieces off of the PAB wall from my last 2 Store visits.
  20. I like the 4 stud cars as well, reminds me of when I was a kid.
  21. Love it ,but seems spendy!
  22. Yes, there is quite a bit of weight on the arm and gravity will take its toll on it when you open the valve. 'Feather' the valve to slow it down.
  23. Absolutely! Like the rest of the MOC but its hard to look past the jukebox! Ready with my roll of quarters!
  24. Supported on Ideas. About how many pieces?
