  1. Not only that, but it's moved from Ships August 15th to "ships in 30 days".
  2. Ordered at midnight when it went live... Still no confirmation email. Hope they don't bump me!
  3. Sinestro! I'll be picking this up.
  4. I guess I overlooked that bit, reading the AMA - and I'm well aware of the durability/etc. issues with the old helmets - I know they'll never resurrect the old helmets, but it doesn't hurt to daydream. That being said, those Futuron minifigs look great in some of the new colors, especially lime green and purple. Here's hoping to a revival of the older designs beyond Benny's Spaceship and the Exosuit. All of this talk of Classic Space is making me nostalgic. Might have to go dig out the old figures and start on a new MOC. :)
  5. I know what I'm doing August 1st. I really hope TLG offers up the white CS minifig set as the US exclusive at the same time. It's too bad that they didn't use the old helmet design for the green spacemen for people with actual Classic Space minifigs…
  6. Excellent review. I can't believe we are at 170+ minifigures (counting the Toy Soldier, Mr. Gold, and the Olympic minifigs it's at 171). It would be nice to see a group shot of all of them, assuming there is someone out there that manages to catch 'em all.
  7. I love the Stagecoach Escape - great looking set. The train set is a must buy, however - finally I'll have a water tower for my Emerald Night and other steam locos!
  8. Ugh! The website is having tons of problems and won't let me use VIP points or anything. Also having issues just getting stuff to add to bag. Must be getting slammed with preorders for the train.
  9. Oh man, I can't wait for a LEGO Green Lantern!
  10. I've been away for a bit (busy with work). Just now read that Toys R Us has series 4. Sure enough the local TrU does. But the local LEGO store won't have them until 4/16. WTF? How does Toys R Us keep getting these a month (or more) early?
  11. Amazing, as always.
  12. Nice train.
  13. WhiteFang: I think it needs to be made more clear (at the top of the first post) that you can NOT use series 3 minifigs, parts, or accessories in ANY of the 3 categories. Not sure why this is a rule, but I've already seen entries break this rule and a lot of questions in here regarding their use.
  14. Nice work on the tender. Took me a second to realize those stripes were bricks and not a decal!
  15. Nice! I think you did a nice job of capturing the feel of the NYC stations. Maybe next you can try and make an MOC of an older style station, maybe something crazy like City Hall.
  16. Hey everyone. Some of you might remember this thread. Well after a few trips to bricklink, I've gone and built the Disneyland engine in real bricks! The cab is on hinges so you can open it up without having to tear the roof off. Plenty of knobs and gauges to keep the engineer busy! Here we have the kalamazoo hand car all by it's lonesome self: The tender isn't done yet, so there are a few yellow bricks being used as stand-ins. The samurai doesn't mind though. :D Lastly, here's an action shot of the engine, tender, and combine car: And the best part of all is the engine handles curves just fine! Hope you enjoy. One more thing: here's a picture of the real loco:
  17. There's a forum for everything. XD
  18. That's my fault - the Indy theme was from my dark ages and I'd just assumed they were the same hat. But yes, it's the older one, on the right.
  19. Yeah, I have no idea. I would think it snuck it's way into a retail box unknowingly, but you would think such a highly automated factory would prevent something like that from happening.
  20. So me and my girlfriend went garage sale hunting this morning. A lot of JUNK. However, one of the places had a bin of legos and some other junk toys. Anyway, bought it and took it home, cleaned it off, threw away the non-LEGO toys (mostly hot wheels, but they were really beat up and rusted). I got about 200 pieces for a dollar, and to my surprise found one of the brimmed hats (from Indiana Jones and Adventurers) but in RED. I'd never seen a red one, so a quick BrickLink search showed that it appears to be a prototype piece, worth about $20. Talk about a needle in a LEGO stack! Thought I'd share my story.
  21. Great MOC Sava. I love the SNOT used in this. Can't wait to see what you do to it after the tweaks.
  22. Great MOC. Love the murals on the side.
  23. Nice! I might use something like this for a MOC I'm thinking about. I think this would look great with a bricks or with glass and steel styles of buildings. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
  24. Great MOC. I enjoy the details such as using headlight bricks for the square cutouts in the columns. I love the Coca-Cola bus and bullet train as well. Nice work.
