  1. Nice work! I love the additions here. As always, the variations are a nice surprise!
  2. Good point, but I will have to consider that when I have it in hand.
  3. Yeah, I may have to look into a modification for this when I get mine.
  4. This is really awesome. Thanks for posting these. It just serves to remind me how much I loved these barely-seen models.
  5. Will this option be enabled? I'd love to use it.
  6. My understanding is that both of those themes ended before their estimated natural lifespan of 3 years was completed. In my books, those are relative failures. The Tolkien themes suffered a similar fate, yes. So my point remains.
  7. Instead, it's a weird, twisted version of that scenario. The Wasp reused another old helmet, and Firefly used a new mold that should have been the Wasp's helmet. So now we hope that the Wasp will reuse this helmet, which was clearly designed for that purpose in the first place. I am assuming that this was a new mold embargo situation where they couldn't add another mold to the Ant-Man and the Wasp set, but they could make a new mold elsewhere that was exactly what they would need to do the character again later. Anyways, strange, and happy to see the new helmet style anyways. And for my Castle purposes, the torso could be great for a black and yellow knight. I'd probably swap the helmet to yellow with a black visor and try to find printed legs to match, though. I actually like quite a lot of the pieces in the Batman-Mech thing. The metallic angular piece on the shin, the various bat-insignias and bat wings, and all the black and grey. The fact that is comes with a bunch of useful plant pieces doesn't hurt, either. And for those who may be confused, 76117 is not Fort Worth, TX, but in fact the set number for the new "Batman-Mech-vs-Poison-Ivy-Mech" set. Looking forward to seeing what else 2019 has in store.
  8. Fair enough. Comedy can be quite subjective. I loked this brand of comedy, it brought a lot of levity to the serious subject matter. The improvised style was something that appealed to me. I am also quite a fan of Jeff Goldblum, so that helped. The same could not be said for every film, however. I certainly didn't enjoy the attempts to shoehorn bad comedy into The Last Jedi, for example.
  9. That's what I noticed, too. I wonder why this wasn't used. I'm hoping for this in the future as well. This is true, but it still looks close enough to perfect for me.
  10. That is really weird. Tires, eh? OK then. I see, thank you! Glad to see more available here. Going to be getting a lot of the candles from the Great Hall if I can.
  11. I feel like Groot's color is too light.
  12. Both of those themes are relative failures. I wouldn't mind a Deco / Ray type theme, though.
  13. Impressive images. I can see how duplication can be a problem in certain instances. I do like the variety displayed here, and the last part with the White Cap Bay towers is really interesting. It's cool to see how it comes up with alternate building techniques for the same build. For example, the corners of the tower in the second and third spawns, and the walls on the third are nice variations. Very interesting stuff. Also, I'm not sure which sets you're using at the moment, but consider adding sections of the following if you haven't already: 6086 Black Knight's Castle 7079 Drawbridge Defense 70402 The Gatehouse Raid 8799 Knights' Castle Wall 70806 Castle Cavalry (In it's Castle form) 10237 The Tower of Orthanc 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep 79007 Battle at the Black Gate 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall (or other Hogwarts sets) 71040 Disney Castle There are also a lot of sets that are specifically siege engines or carts that you may want to consider, in a variety of themes. For example, you could add 41157 Rapunzel’s Traveling Caravan or something as simple as 5618 Troll Warrior. If I have any further set suggestions, I'll be sure to post them. I really like this project, and will definitely be coming back here to see more results. I'd be very interested to see what you could do with Forestmen type builds or village-based builds as well. But that's a whole new discussion! Keep up the good work!
  14. Lots of great stuff. What are the white pieces on the left? The printed tiles from the Ron & Dumbledore Brickheadz are listed but Out Of Stock. I bet they are licensed and will be unavailable...
  15. You can't ever be too sure!
  16. Ragnarok was very funny. Taika Waititi is hilarious, and did a great job with Ragnarok. That said, it worked well for that particular film, and maybe wouldn't be the best style of comedy elsewhere.
  17. It's a decent enough movie, but it took a lot of artistic liberties and was vastly different from the book. As much as I enjoyed the movie, I much more highly recommend the book.
  18. This is awesome. Love the ingenuity required to pull it off, but even moreso, I love the results! All of these look like I am seeing official LEGO sets from an alternate reality. Really cool stuff! Keep adding new sections! Love it!
  19. Fair enough, I misunderstood your question. My fault. I would hope that a new Pirates theme would fit into Pirates rather than Action & Adventure. Even with a few fantasy elements like Krackens or Voodoo, I think it would fall firmly into Pirates. As soon as you start to mash it up with another theme altogether, you pull it out of Pirates into other categories.
  20. Ugh, that sounds like taking a good thing and mashing it with something terrible. Castle is the good thing. And we just finished (early) a Castle mash-up theme, so maybe let Castle breathe and have a proper theme next time around...
  21. I would love one day to see individual sets released for each of the Lions and Paladins, assembling into a minifigure / System scale Voltron. One can hope...
  22. I like the Rocket Raccoon Brickheadz more than Groot, but not quite enough to really want it. Shame that helmet from Firefly wasn't used for the Wasp minifigure. It would have been much more accurate. Looks like it was designed for it.
  23. Kind of lame now that I see it in more detail.
  24. I was hoping that was just preliminary. They should have just included alternate pieces without the print. I hate using stickers. Guess mine will be the Japanese version!
  25. Yeah, I guess that's my point. I just want the minifigure and bat parts, so the app controlled bit is useless to me and just serves to bump up the price. As for the other set shown here, that Firefly torso could prove useful. And Yellow Lantern Batman is very welcome.
