  1. So my hope for a Wolfpack character reboot came to fruition, but they made him a dark green archer. Now we need a dark brown Wolfpack bandit.
  2. Stabbing
  3. Fair enough, but I was hoping for something that more resembled the original Wolfpack characters, who all wore brown. I'm still going to army build them. But I would probably buy a whole lot more if they had been brown.
  4. The Rogue having the Wolfpack insignia is wonderful. I would have much preferred him to be wearing dark brown, much like the original Wolfpack, but the dark green looks pretty good, too.
  5. I like the headpiece on the Pirate guy. A bald head with bandanna. That looks pretty nice. Why maracas? Family Guy? The Imp is a disappointment to me, too. I also think the Rogue could have been better in a different color, and why is he an archer? He basically looks like a different version of the Mirkwood Elf Archers. I'd have preferred dark brown with daggers.
  6. I love the Doctor Who set, and would choose that, but I'm sticking with the Exo-Suit. This is mostly because I appreciate that it is based on a Classic LEGO theme, and brings something new to it. That's the kind of thing I'd like to see more of from LEGO in general, and it's something that I think will lead to a higher approval rate from LEGO if it can get the votes.
  7. I think you're right about the Penguin being a boy, which actually works since penguins are small. I'm guessing he'll have Shark Suit fins as his wings. Also, it looks like the Banana Suit Guy has the word "BANANA!" printed on the suit. Kind of ruins it for me. I would have gotten a bunch ( ), but now I'm only likely to get one.
  8. I'm curious to hear what was rejected. I'll be supporting this. It's a really nice design. Functional and beautiful. Best of luck!
  9. Not as early as series 14 leaks. We had those in January last year. I noticed the Rogue has a Wolfpack logo, which is a really nice tribute. Not sure why they made him dark green rather than dark brown, though. He has a new hood with a covering over his lower face, and that looks cool. The Scallywag looks really good, as does the Mariachi (black with silver or white trim), and the Banana and Penguin Suits. Banana Guy has printed sunglasses. Mariachi has a black mustache and acoustic guitar. The Babysitter does have a baby, in a baby blue outfit, and blonde pigtails. She is wearing pink. The Cyborg is half human with light blue hair. The Snow / Ice Queen looks pretty good, and as expected. Light blue face, white dress (can't see the skirt part), trans blue crown on white hair. The Imp is definitely a costume, yellow face with red headpiece (like Bumblebee Girl with black horns instead of antennae). Red wings, and carrying a pumpkin bucket like the Skeleton Boy.
  10. I personally disagree, but these are really well designed boars. Good luck with the Ideas project!
  11. Those are awesome. They need to do things like that again. What is it that is hated? Is it the baseplate? I personally like raised baseplates, but I can understand why some people do not.
  12. , nice.
  13. Oh no. I hadn't realized that this was a possibility until now.
  14. Andromeda.

  16. A license would help, but if they just used similar style and design they can accomplish more without restrictions. Hopefully they would follow aesthetic cues from D&D or Game of Thrones, rather than convert it into something too original, or we may get another Nexo Knights situation.

  18. Or even better, LEGO could come up with their own IP that has much of the same design aesthetic. It would save them the licensing fees, and give them more freedom to create. Besides, I'm sure that Game of Thrones is wildly distant from LEGO's brand values. I personally find LEGO's brand values to be limiting, and would love to see them embrace their adult audience with some sort of mature product line. This can be done without necessarily including sexual themes and gory violence, just allowing for more mature products and those based on licenses like the ones mentioned above. But that's for another topic.

  20. A LEGO based RPG would be very cool, but I'd be more interested in seeing LEGO produce sets within a theme that is similar to D&D. While it would be fun to have an entire RPG, I think that a "LEGO Fantasy Adventures" theme of building sets would work really well. Each wave could include different Fantasy RPG concepts across multiple sets. Perhaps each wave contains the basic elements of a quest, and the theme as a whole would be like a campaign that changes every year or 2. Just an idea, but it could be something along those lines, anyways. I just want to see LEGO produce more medieval fantasy, and I would really like it to be somewhat darker than their typical Castle themes. And by darker I don't mean I want to see the undead or demons. I just mean a darker overall tone, darker color palette, appealing to the higher end of their target market and purchasing demographic (12-16+).
  21. Afterwards,
  22. D&D is a property of Wizards of the Coast, owned by Hasbro, a LEGO competitor. That license is considered unattainable. Pathfinder was made under a contract with Wizards of the Coast, since it is based off of the D&D ruleset. I imagine that there are legal complications here as well. Heavy Gear and Shadowrun, I can only assume, do not fit with LEGO's brand values. Either that, or they just do not see them as marketable to their target audience, which is 6-12 year olds. I don't necessarily like it, but these are probably the reasons you'll hear. Personally, I think that D&D would be a very successful license. I think that LEGO could make a comparable theme without the license, and still be very successful.
