I can't speak for every fan, but personally I'm not a big fan of the modular castle. There have been plenty of medieval fantasy themed Ideas that I have supported, though. And Lord of the Rings continually makes it to 10,000 supporters. So I expect they know that there is an under-served community. I think they thought we would all get into Nexo Knights. How wrong they were.

Fair enough. But I guess what I'm saying is that the complaints are sort of irrelevant in the long run. I think that there is an audience, that's all I'm saying. I still think it's a good idea. I like these ideas. Flesh feet would be a great start. I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility. A return of the Lord of the Rings is definitely not likely, but it is possible. A smaller Lothlorien project on Ideas might have a better chance. Sure, they could have scaled back the set with this one, but I think they want to approve the sets for what they are. And while they do make changes, they try to keep them minimal.

The axles may not fit in with the rest of the colors in the set, but I'd say they go well with the theme overall.

Normally, I would hesitate as well. But this is one set I would likely keep complete.

I voted for the Landcruiser. I don't like it, but I feel like it would be the type of thing they would release. I'd much rather see the Yellow Submarine. I'm afraid the Yellow Submarine will suffer the fate of the Little Prince, though. Not sure why that one did not get approved, but I suspect licensing or age. My thoughts exactly. As for Daft Punk, it was pretty much just minifigures, and those will never pass.

That's just how minifigures look. And as minifigures, these female characters look as expected. In fact, they look good. I'm very happy to see that they did a couple of female characters (one of them a princess) in a minifigure form. Hoping for more of them. Minidolls are so awful, and I like that they have both to cater to both audiences.

Well, that's a kid in a costume. So I would say an Angel Costume might work. I wouldn't mind seeing "Angels" and "Demons" in LEGO, but I'm not sure they will do it. The closest thing to an Angel is the Winged Warrior, and we may have to settle for that.

I'd expect a new mold. Friends minidolls and animals do not work well with normal minifigures and animals. There are few exceptions, and I would not say the penguin is one. It's definitely the Imp.

The landscape work is fantastic. Nice design on the trees! I also like the rocks and plants. Good job!

Value of collections is not a very important argument. And I think that the sales figures could be quite good. There will be many who missed out on all of the theme, or even some of the theme, who will want to buy. There will also be many purchasing only that which was unreleased, like Eowyn or the Witch King. The argument about rehashes is a decent one, but to quell that all they have to do is improve upon the models they released last time, and use even newer parts. Basically, while I don't think that they will release more sets any time soon, I disagree that it would inevitably be unpopular and sell poorly.

I think that both were unrealistic in terms of what Ideas is able to produce. Great ideas, though. And wonderful MOCs.

The pirate does seem to be holding a blade across his chest. It goes beyond the shoulder on the left side of the image, so I don't think it's a strap. It may not be a new blade, but it definitely looks like a blade. I'm guessing that the Rogue's headpiece will appear in future Ninjago sets. If that's the case, there's a good chance we will have it in multiple colors (hopefully they won't print on it).

I'm not excited about the set, but I'm very happy to hear that they've secured the license. I can't wait to see the Dimensions figures. I'm hoping they go all out with Fun Pack, Level Pack, and Team Pack, but I'll be happy either way. I'm a huge fan of the show. I really hope that they turn this into a theme, I would probably buy every set. For those who are interested but haven't seen it, I'd suggest watching. It's very good, and only gets better, darker, and slightly more mature as it goes. This is great news.

Excited about Adventure Time (well, excited about the license much more than the set), but disappointed about The Little Prince. The rest was as expected. Crossing my fingers for the Yellow Submarine in the next review.
