I thought it was cool, and it looked much better than your example. By a lot, actually.

Finally saw the third set, a Dragon Costume BrickHeadz. Thanks to whoever leaked that. Pretty cool set, but it's the other two I want. Most importantly, that Dragon Dance set!

I'm pretty happy to see this. I love the idea of an inverted corner, and it looks like it comes with a variety of new and useful pieces. I really like the use of ice skates for squeegees, though. I also like the tree.

That's great news! Looks like you've been getting a lot of press and attention! -
Thanks for reporting! A valuable service to the community. I'm not particularly fond of BrickHeadz, but I like the Ghost. I even kind of like the Reindeer!

Lego Designer Woon Tze Chee on Lego Overwatch

I also hope they continue. There are IPs I would love to see in LEGO. I'll just throw out Game of Thrones as an example of something I'd love to see that caters to the older fanbase. But things like that aren't likely to be happening any time soon. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Quite! Not just downhill, but off completely topic! And you made a whole thread to discuss this specific issue. Back to the topic at hand. I'm mostly looking forward to Batman's Torso (with arm printing) and Legs, Sweet Mayhem's Hair, the Giraffe Suit, the Pink Spaceman, the Blue Raptors, and Sewer Babies. -
It was a guy wearing this: All of the images I used had the Classic Space logo on them, which I think is an important part of keeping that feel. Here is the red Galaxy Squad guy: Now imagine that one of the logos on his chest was the Classic Space logo. That makes it much more appealing, doesn't it? I do like how Galaxy Squad made different colored suits, I think that's a big component of Classic Space that people liked. And I like how they used grey torsos and switched the arms. Presumably a cost-saving measure. I also like how they incorporated android-like robot minifigures. I'd love to see some more of that, along with the conventional brick-based robots. Here's a bit of LEGO robot evolution: In the minifigure series, they made good use of robots as well: One is even a Blacktron robot!

I think kids would like Classic Space if they were presented with such a theme. I'd love to see an updated version of the concept, myself. I love the classic torsos, the new classic helmets, the air tanks, and all the other throwback or vintage stuff. That said, they could easily update Classic Space in much the same way as that image in the post above. Take this, for instance: If they would do updates like these for all of the various colors of Classic Space minifigures, I think it would be fantastic. I'd personally prefer them to use the classic helmets and the air tanks for the "Space Suits" and such. I'd also like to see the classic torsos stay around as shirts for when they are inside the space stations and vehicles. Basically, what I want to see is an updated Space theme that keeps the spirit of Classic Space alive with the themes, color schemes, and logos that evoke the simplicity and nostalgia of the Classic Space theme. I think kids would respond to that. Throw in some inspiration from (or updates of) Futuron, Blacktron, M-Tron, and Spyrius over a few years of the theme's lifespan, and I think it could do really well. I think the themes and designs of old, while outdated, still hold up today and can be updated in a way that appeals to kids while still being appreciated by AFOLs. I have to give TLG credit, though. 2 of the above are from the Collectible Minifigures series, and there are other updates of Space minifigures in the CMF series as well. There are some great Blacktron updates to be found there. Those minifigures are great teasers, but it would be fantastic to see them all come in wave after wave of sets in one unified Updated Space theme.

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Glad to find the pictures. Now I can prepare my budget ahead of time for the Batman minifigure I want the most. To be honest, I will likely end up buying the Batman with arm printing on BrickLink. I don't need the armor, head, or cowl, though, so I will probably buy a few pieces. It's great to see all the parts up front. Now I know I just want the torso and legs. Thanks for the tip! -

No problem. I may not have been a big fan of the theme, but I can't say I wasn't a fan of these designs. I particularly like the prism.- 233 replies

Nuts. I was not aware of a third. I'll have to look around a bit. Thanks for the tip!

Aside from the nice part usage on the mermaid tail and the garage doors, this is a nice looking vignette of a classic character and you've captured her well. I like all the work you did with the plants. Simple but effective stuff. Nice work!

I really hope that these are released everywhere. They both look fantastic. I like the new bowls!

I found this interesting as well. When I was a kid I always imagined the Forestmen to be like elves rather than Robin Hood and his merry men. Then again, I was a reader of fantasy novels. I'm sure that informed my play.

I love this city (and the Dark City references). Seeing it take shape and grow is very cool. Looking forward to more updates!

I discuss leaks with friends both online and in the world. I use leaks to plan my budget for future purchases. Leaks allow me to make more informed decisions. Through leaks I can determine if a particular set or theme will be of interest to me, which can be valuable in dispelling hype. LEGO has a long shelf life and I have limited funds for such things. Knowing in advance what to expect allows me to decide if I prefer something from a current wave or an upcoming wave. Rather than buying two or three small sets now and spending only $50, I can save that money and put it towards a larger $100 set that I would not be able to afford had I spent earlier. Also, some leaked images will show a print under the armor of a minifigure, a specific new piece or recolor, or any number of other things that are shown in leaked photos in detail that I may not have noticed on my own when officially revealed. I value this attention to detail in leaks because I am actually very particular about my LEGO and such small things could make or break a set for me. So I think leaks are a good thing. They are helpful to me as a consumer because they allow me to plan for the future, they provide valuable information, and they can temper my expectations for sets I may be too hyped about. I end up spending more money and enjoying my LEGO more when I am allowed the opportunity to get this kind of information as early as possible.
