  1. My Lego order just came in the mail today, and I got cracking on Beware the Vulture (just in time to see the movie tonight!!!) and Captian America Jet Pursuit. I love love love Beware the Vulture. Awesome minifigures, solids vehicle build, and I find the wings pretty impressive in size; Vulture looks daunting when donning them, and they look appropriately sized. As for Captain America Jet Pursuit, it's a little underwhelming. I only bought it of course as a completionist and for Captain Marvel, and well, I'm let down. The build is quite simple, and though I like the minifigures (I quite like the Super Adaptoid, I don't know why either) I find Captain Marvel's arms a little annoying. When pulled through to the left side, her right arm is completely good and looks off. And he arms just seem a bit too big too display out-of-battle context, a la with my collection. I like her as a figure, but I wished we'd gotten an alternate, normal torso (or I'd at least gotten a second one to modify). I can't wait to get to ATM Heist Battle and Ravager Attack tomorrow!
  2. That looks fantastic! The use of the silver-chrome studs, tooth-pieces, and others give this a sense of realism and really looks like something Iron Man would use.
  3. I agree. The angry eyes would've sufficed, it looks way off
  4. This so incredible, I love everything about it! You've put so much effort into details and references here, and it is amazing to behold! (though I must admit I don't know the duck on the bike) How long did this take you?
  5. Took pictures of the Iron Man with other classic variants as well for those interested:
  6. Oh, that's too bad. Besides, the yellow face printing is on a red piece, so it's shade doesn't match the arms and would-be legs. However, Thanos looks terrific in minifigure form, with long legs anyways. I think it's a spot-on comic variant, with the crazy smile and all. I'm glad I bought the set just for him.
  7. So I tired giving the Classic Iron Man from the Mighty Micros set log legs, first using red hips with yellow legs, then all red legs. But it just looks off. I know the dual-molded "Flash" legs came in the City beach set, but have we ever gotten the inverse?
  8. ^Well, Spidey was shown chasing the white truck over rooftops in the third and final trailer, right before Vulture swoops out of the sky and plucks him up. It's enough to make me "Beware the Vulture." So Lego didn't make it up (yes!), but maybe the scene does actually have more substance and presence than we thought. And yes, Tom Holland seems like an awesome guy! Good friend material.
  9. Though its a 2016 set, its 2017 news. The Classic TV Series Batcave, at least in the US, is discounted to $216 on shop.lego.com!
  10. ^I did the same thing! I can't look at Ravager Attack or the new Rocket minifigure anymore without "Southern Nights" popping into my head!
  11. Yellowjacket and Wonder Woman (BvS) There were a lot of great DC minifigures this round, it was one of the tougher choices
  12. I don't have any of these Creator vehicles, unfortunately (so I can't say definitively). I believe the scale is supposed to be in between that for a minifigure and the older Technic figures.
  13. There is most definitely a lovely interior to the model, featuring rows of seats as well as spiral stairs. The picture released on twitter was taken in front of the one and only Buckingham Palace. Hopefully it will be up today or tomorrow (I sent it into Brickset, but they won't release it without an okay from Lego)
  14. ^Thanks for the heads-up I'm ordering mine when double VIP points starts (in the US anyways) Saturday
  15. Star-Lord (Starblaster Showdown) and TLBM Alfred!
  16. ^your team looks great! I like how you used the Gemini suit torso and hip piece for Cyborg, though I don't quite get the use of Nightwing's torso for Martian Manhunter They look alright, but I think I'll just use the normal red legs for my Flash
  17. I think in the Licensed B&P thread, it was said that they're available for right now
  18. I was just judging off the design in the Lego batman 3 video game.
  19. ^Okay. Gorilla Grodd was just the first winner that made me think of it. And wow, we're already seventeen rounds in!
  20. She-Hulk and Martian Manhunter (2014 promo) Also, @VaderFan2187: was Grodd really eligible for this contest, since he wasn't a minifgure?
  21. Maybe for Marvel, but not for Brickheadz. The boxes are numbered, and we're missing 09 through 12.
