Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks! Are we expecting the (I’m assuming Cyborg’s 2017 variant) cannon arm with the anti-stud? Or something along the lines of the android arms from Alien Conquest and CMF series 3? I honestly think Lego could give him a gunmetal arm/hand and cal it a day, depending how much it’s shown uncovered in the film. -

The new Ninjago “Temple of Resurrection” set features a minifigure with a red Mr. T hairpiece. If anyone who gets this set has the 2017 Yondu minifigure, I’d love to see how he looks with that hairpiece.- 5,808 replies

Though it’d be amazing to have them seated in driver and passenger seat style, I think it will seat both minifigures in single file, in a 4-stud wide interior, like the Blackbird from 2014 (Even if it’s cramped like the Bat from 2013). Edit: Wow, my 2000th post! -

Aside from being all too small, what was wrong with the Commadore? I liked Lego’s version very well, I intend to keep it up with the Milano for a while. -

Lego didn’t make direct Suicide Squad sets, no. It was likely for exactly that reason, given the title includes “Suicide.” But they included the majority of the group in minifigure form sprinkled into the spring and summer 2016 wavs of sets.- 1,409 replies

Yeah. I don’t see them giving us a largest and smaller erosion of a location in one wave. Add-ones are one thing, like Hogwarts, but I don’t think two Sanctum Sanctorums are plausible -

Loads of official images leaking, from licensed and non-licensed themes alike. Fingers crossed we’ll get the Black Panther sets. I’m not expecting anything beyond those (no Infinity War). -

Great, right? And I can’t believe I hadn’t read that right, so glad we get Kylo in such a cheap set. Not to mention one that will likely be continuously discounted! Oh, man. I love the Ach To set. That is a nice structure (which now reminds me we’re gettjng Yoda’s Hut as well, right?) -

I’m beginnig to think the rhino is some kind of mining exosuit, not something of T’Challa’s own tech. -

This is what I was thinking. His new arm (possibly vibration) will be a new design and lacking of a Soviet Star. This paves the way for a new variant -

Cull Obsidian is in the Sanctum Sanctourm Battle Bucky, Drax, and Wong seem like the most notable omissions. I’d be surprised if Wong wasn’t in the Sanctum Sanctorum. -

I imagine it’ll just be a First Order TIE Pilot, but does this mean Kylo Ren is included in the microfighter of his Silencer? That would be a huge surprise (but a welcome one). -

Please no. Nothing like Steppenwolf, Groot, or the Sentinel. -

As long as it improves on Aleksei’s Rhino from 2015, my interest is peaked. -

Well 76102 sounds exciting... In all seriousness I’m excited for that set just for Groot, who’s likely a minifigure. -

Well, it appears I missed the Black Panther descirptions while looking for the Infinity War ones! I’m glad to hear we’re gettig Klaue as an additional villain, rather than a Kilmonger in both. The Rhino will probably be similar to the Fenris wolf, but a bit bulkier (hopefully smaller). The sets sound intriguing, though I hope they aren’t too large and detract from my Infinity War budget (we are still getting a D2C, after all) -

I agree, I’m so glad the small set comes with both Blonde Widow and Nomad! Im definitely excited for the Sanctum, they did so well with the last one...and Peter Parker! Im assuming they’ll include the Iron Spider with that as well? -

Yes, it appears to be eight of that piece, four to a side! That is such an insightful use, I like it! I wonder how wide the release of this poly bag will be, they make fantastic Halo guns.- 5,808 replies

I don’t think Kilmonger looks as cool in Lego as he does on screen. I’m a little surprised, as I loved He design and thought it would translate well. It’s just a little dull. Nakia is good, I love the hairpiece. I suppose I’ll have to wait for official pictures to judge, the accessories always add a little something. edit: I take some of that back. I can see where the (hopefully) gold accents are on his torso. These definitely seem appealing, I like him more now. -

I have to say, I’m incredibly surprised how well the Black Panther sets have been kept out of our reach. No prelims, not even a definitive set description. And it’s now halfway through November. Kudos to Lego, but I’m itching to know what’s next.- 5,808 replies

Well, we have pictures of our first official Black panther 2018 set, thanks to MarioPower over on Instagram. It’s a polybag of one of the flying transports/cars from Wakanda.- 5,808 replies

I was really hoping they were bananas, but it appears to be the small tooth/fang pieces in yellow. This build is incredible, so much detail in the foliage and the architecture! I love it that much more when taking into account it’s one of my favorite Disney movies!

No, the next wave for Marvel is Star Lord v Nebula, Spider-Man v Sandman, and Thor v Loki
