  1. Oh shoot sorry I meant to post that in the 42121 thread...
  2. Not sure if this is mentioned anywhere yet: this set also has color consistency problem with the yellow parts.
  3. My 42121 contains a (I'm not 100% sure bout this) slightly faulty part. The set contains 4 of this part: They are connected and aligned through a 4L axle. It turns out they dont align perfectly. One part tilts slightly upward and one tilts slightly downward around the axle hole.
  4. It's a very weird sight to see all of the black pins without the familiar center slots in my new 42121. Although I know it's a genuine Lego part, my mind has been primed to view the no-center-slots pin as Lepins (#pun). It will take some time to get used to the new one...
  5. I put in my thoughts. Hopefully it will amount to something.
  6. I wasn't quite satisfied with the face of the Chinook, so yesterday I gave it a facelift. Old face: New face Real thing: Does the new face look better?
  7. Took this thing out for a photoshoot session. And now it will be disassembled.
  8. Since this Sikorsky is a 42113 B model, and I want to revert the build into 42113, there needs to be a MOC version. Because panel #1, panel #2, and the curved panel 3x13 in DBG are exclusive to the Osprey, they need to be replaced with panels in colors that are currently available. The problem is that I can't seem to find a suitable replacement color. These are some options. [deleted] I think I'm going for the black option. The dark blue looks fitting as well. What do you think?
  9. Unfortunately, no. I faced a tradeoff between making the tail foldable and making it lean in two dimensions. In the real aircraft, the tail not only leans backwards, like it does in normal helicopter, but also leans sideway (rightward when viewed from the front). Since the model will be a static display one most of the time, I chose to replicate the two-dimension lean. The upside is that the leaning part of tail can be disengaged and removed from the main body, so I think it kinda serves the same purpose as being foldable in a sense.
  10. The name is not accurate, indeed.
  11. The design for the Sikorsky has been finalized!
  12. The battery box is finally listed on Bricklink. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=bb1165c01&idColor=86#T=C&C=86
  13. Yes you can, but only recently.
  14. Osprey's first flight was in 1989. To put things in context that was when the Cold War was around. Zetros was first presented in 2008.
  15. Let's hope there won't be another reconstruction thread for the orange-grey rescue twin-blade model
  16. I would say this number is skipped. If there is anything for this number at least there would be a placeholder text or info already.
  17. This is the progress thread. This is how it looks.
  18. I bought it to build a separate copy of the B model I designed - the Chinook CH-47.
  19. Approximately 108 USD for both, including shipping. The seller is from Hong Kong.
  20. It's real people. I've just received them.
  21. We have a winner for best 2021 1H Technic set.
  22. Did yoy pay 500+ USD for it?
