  1. I'd say, not the CATegory of news that we were looking FORD.
  2. I think I know a guy who compares Technic sets and take photos of them
  3. 3 hours left until the Lego Con. Hopefully all official photos will be out, and we can remove the phrase in the brackets [ ] from the thread title.
  4. Oh my god what is this So mysterious (sarcasm)
  5. The other day I discovered on eBay a vendor that sells new (in plastic bags new) C+ sets with the electronics removed at a reduced price. That is just exactly what I want from those physically and financially bloated app-driven set. I bought a 42124 from them, as I like the look of the model but have no intention of playing with it or doing some silly races or, as @kbalage said in his review, using the fart sound. I think I'll do the same with the Zetros.
  6. 18+ people have deeper pockets and more willingness to afford this thing
  7. The 42131 shadow photo has been posted in its thread.
  8. Candyman, candyman. It is definitely bigger than the thing leaked 2 months ago. The side of the blade uses the new tapered 3x11 panel that is previously used on the hood.
  9. You can include a comparison with 42053 in your 42128 review
  10. How's the progress on the 42053 Volvo EW160E
  11. The date for pre-order for the August wave is also July 16th. Coincidence?
  12. That means no cancelled set this wave, yay!
  13. Or the model just buckles slightly in the middle, similar to 42070. There are a hub and one or two motors in there.
  14. Based on previous set lineups, there should be a Volvo model every two year and a big front loader every four year. 2022 falls into both patterns, so I guess there will be a big Volvo loader-ish next year. But since TLG doesn't repeat themselves, I don't think we're gonna get a remastered 42030 with C+ slapped on it. That'd be boring. I think TLG will do a log handler, either a L180 or L250. This thing can feature the black gear quadrants previously seen in 42100 and the alleged new linear actuator in black from the upcoming 42131.
  15. V12 fake engine with large cylinders (2x2) means the hood will be as long as the Sian's rear, which possibly makes this whole thing as long as the Sian. If there's a new track piece, I think it would be 7L long. Technic pieces almost always have odd-number lengths. If the new one is not 7L long, then it would be 3L wide .
  16. The idiot me thought the CAT is gonna be meh so I bought a second 42100, sold all the electronics, and planned to build @M_longer 's B model Liebherr PR 776 instead. But that new information made me rethink my decision..
  17. If that is true I might have to eat my word and buy this set
  18. TLG's decision to rename 42097 from Spider Crane to Mobile Crawler Crane is probably to not alienate the kids and the arachnophobes out there,
  19. This model works partly because its official name is just Mack LR instead of Refuse Truck or Garbage Truck. To TLG, the name also contributes to the viability of a product. If TLG releases the next proper refuse truck as a main model on the box, I think it will also carry a license.
  20. You might never know. TLG has been bringing exotic trucks into the Technic lineup lately. Maybe one day they can do a front load or side load refuse truck.
  21. I suspect that this thing might have been cancelled or delayed to next year already. It doesn't appear in the most recent catalogue, so it won't be out in August. The details for the October wave are out already, and this thing still doesn't have anything. Maybe it shares the same fate with the Airport Rescue Vehicle. That set was originally assigned the number 42051 and be released in 1H 2016, but was delayed to 2H 2017 and assigned the number 42068 instead. The reason was explicitly stated that TLG thought it wouldn't sell well in a Technic lineup that had already been crowded that year.
