  1. Just wanna chime in that you dont need to base the model on a fancy real life motorbike to make it appealing. A fellow from my country (https://www.flickr.com/photos/khanglego) built this. The real motobike is common as dirt in my country, but the model is stunning nonetheless.
  2. According to the video this thing has differential locks.
  3. I think I've come up with a way to incorporate a differential-ish design. It's not gonna be a real differential, as there is no space, but it can work like one. The distance between the two outer most red connectors is 7 studs. My idea is to use a 6L linear clutch like this one. A 12z gear will be inserted between the oo connector and the ++ connector. I'd get rid of the three way brace and two red connectors in the passenger's side. And then the axle will go like this: wheel - ++ connector - 12z gear - oo connector - ++ connector - wheel
  4. 42125 brings back this part in blue and introduces this in blue
  5. If there's a way to fix the two liftarms that hold the 8 pistons only at in front connectors, then we can get rid of these parts in the rear completely. And then there will be space for a differential.
  6. That doesn't work either. Either version of the differential and the gear that meshes with it, be it a 12z or 20z, all require no liftarm under it. Moving it to either side only compromises the structure of that side. The only place that can afford no liftarm under the differential is right at the center. The current design already has some liftarm under it, but fixing that is easy.
  7. That's not enough. The 28z gear will also rub into this part above the 9L beam.

Assuming 42126 isn't a car.
  9. The new one from 42109 has the same diameter as the old one. Both have 28 teeth and a diameter of 3.2 studs.
  10. This thing has 3 forward speeds and 3 reverse speeds. I suspect we may see an automatic gearbox like the one in 42114. https://www.cat.com/en_US/products/new/equipment/dozers/large-dozers/18332635.html
  11. Second this. I dont want another truck mounted with a crane. 42128 Heavy Duty Tow Truck already did that. When I search for articles related to the Zetros, most results feature Zetros as a mobile expedition home. I really hope this version will be implemented. It can be the successor for 42069.
  12. To be fair it is hard to put a differential in here A differential has a diameter of 3.2 studs, which requires a one stud space in front of and above and under it.
  13. This is very helpful! I'll add it to the Osprey reconstruction thread so that people can get around the requirement for the dumb hub.
  14. My guess for the IP Vehicle is that it's either a Bentley or an Audi. These are the brands owned by VW Group. Among the brands that have not been featured in Lego Technic, Audi and Bentley are probably the most well known. I have no idea what Seat and Skoda are. Scania and Man are truck brands, and there are two trucks in the lineup already.
  15. Dont worry, I'll conduct regular inspection at my local toy store, just like I did this summer
