  1. What is this new piece that you're referring to?
  2. I can't wrap my head around how a model can stay in the relatively identical dimensions while almost tripling in part count. 8275 has 1384 parts while this set has 3854 parts. 3854/1384 = 2.7
  3. So far among the sets with available candies I'm only interested in the Tow Truck. The 42070 clone and 8275 clone are a bit underwhelming. We still have two candies to wait for: one is a 99.99$ IP Vehicle, and the other one is a 139.99$ IP Vehicle. Isn't it quite sad when the set that got the most hype (at least in this community) is a plain old manual Technic-ish common vehicle and not some branded RC electronics flagship?
  4. And according to the side profile, this set has two L linear actuators, not XL ones.
  5. My guess is that this thing was actually downsized during finalization and will contain less than the 3854 piece count that was previously published. It doesn't look anywhere close to that mark. Even the Sian only has 3696 pieces.
  6. No the thing in the clip is a MOC. Here we have the photo of a real one.
  7. If I have to throw away 300$ for a Technic bulldozer, I'd rather spend it on 8275 instead. At least it's immediately playable. Also, I have candies.
  8. This MOC looks like a distant brother of the 42128. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8316/ErikLeppen/five-axle-crane/#comments
  9. I saw new responses so I expected candies. But no...
  10. My guess is that there will either be a compressor with a hand crank, or a compressor connected to the rear wheels that will produce air pressure when the model is rolled around.
  11. So far the functions I have managed to detect are: - Manual: dual winches. - Manual: side outriggers, driven by mini LAs. - Pneumatic: crane raising. - Pneumatic: crane extension. - Pneumatic: something in the rear fork. Given that pneumatic cylinders don't hold their positions well, my guess is that it's the tow forklift. - Liftable second axle. I'm not sure if this one is pneumatic or manual. The following features are not visible and are only my guesses: - Second function of the fork. In this case it's raising the tow arm. - Manual pump or compressor. Since the 42053 pump takes up space, but it's nowhere to be seen, I think the model has a compressor and a hand crank. - Rear outriggers. There seems to be something behind the last wheel. Or maybe the rear and side outriggers are all connected. - On the visible side there is one valve handle next to the outrigger and two knobs. If the design is mirrored the other side should have the same set up. That means there are 2 valves and 4 knobs. However there seems to be 3 pneumatic functions. That means one of the knob is connected to the 3rd valve. My guess is that the remaining knobs will be connected to the compressor, the tow arm, and the lift axle.
  12. If I had been the author of the first post I would have done that in an instant. Unforchunately...
  13. "Most" here is probably synonymous with "2 out of 2" (driving + steering).
  14. This Zetros looks like a toned down version of a 42070 and a more expensive 42099. The bare bed is a letdown at the moment. I expected something more, like a mobile home.
  15. This also looks like the real life inspiration:
  16. There are transmissions and tubes for 6 functions under the crane, so your idea will be quite hard.
  17. My guess is that the length of the cylinder forces the crane to be like that.
  18. This seems to be the real life inspiration.
  19. The hood doesn't look openable, which probably means no engine.
  20. There's a thing called good will. And let's not turn this thread into a place to question or protest rules.
  21. No sharing images with confidential stamp please. We here are civilized people; we only engage in light-hearted exchange of garish candies.
  22. Anyone want a slightly visually unsettling candy? I think we have a 42080 contender. Observations: - It appears to have a 2nd axle lift. - Crane arm has two winches. This part I approve. It's very realistic. - Gear rack holder in either regular blue or dark blue. - Front nose use Corvette wheel arch in orange. - No 2-in-1 mark. Another B model bites the dust... - There's a new label that says pneumatic function. It's similar to the motorized function label on the 42113. Since this set only has the pneumatic label and not the motorized label, a manual pump or manual compressor should be in there somewhere. - Official name is American Tow Truck. - 42080 valves are back.

I'd love to see someone have a try at this model and record a review video of some sorts.
