  1. It seems the Ocean Explorer is on the sub-minifig scale, same as the BWE.
  2. Guess who's back, back again, Jim is back, tell a friend Jim is back, Jim is back, Jim is back...
  3. The jet is listed on Amazon.de, but not available for sale til 25 Feb.
  4. I got the Porsche for 240 EUR on Amazon.de and free shipping.
  5. Did TLG send you another batch?
  6. I can still remember how people went berserk about BWE having 229.99 EUR as RRP. And it has been on amazon.de for 180 - 190 EUR for several months now. So if you can't afford much, just wait (and check amazon.de regularly)!
  7. How about Arctic Truck instead
  8. I've just realized that the crane on the ship is placed off the center.
  9. From the ship description: I have no idea where the "opening deck for access to the hull" is. Here are two photos of the deck, and I don't see any openable part. Front deck: Rear deck:
  10. I've FINALLY achieved what I've always wanted while modifying this set. My aim is to increase the bucket wheel & conveyor speed, at the same time still retain some protection measures. And here is what I come up with. Instead of 20z 12z 24z 8z 24z 8z in the original setup, rearrange them as 24z 8z 24z 8z 12z 20z This increases the speed significantly, while still allow enough force to not slip the clutch gear 24z. You can even change the 12z - 20z into 24z - 8z and the clutch gears still don't slip, but that would be too fast to be enjoyable.

  12. Since it can't pitch up it isn't likely to move like ailerons anymore. Now we end up with a jet with elevators that can only go down. Really Markus...
  13. I think adding 2 more black tapered panels to the end wouldn't be any trouble. Or maybe TLG is gonna surprise us by giving the jet elevons (elevators and ailerons combined)!
  14. Yes you may be the only one because the jet does have elevators. In the following pic both tapered panels go down, so they're probably linked to the same axle. What it lacks are ailerons. And if you're bothered by the lack of ailerons then you're not alone because I am too
  15. I'm afraid you're not correct this time. Here's the view of the red levers and the stickers. You can click on it to see it more clearly. The upper lever changes between VTOL and FLIGHT. The lower lever retracts the wheels. The canopy can be opened, but manually.
  16. How does this combination model compare against last year's one
  17. Now for the remaining 1H sets we have to wait a month or two until they are available in Sariel's country
  18. The jet is available on Amazon JP, but as far as I've searched on japanese websites there hasn't been any review.
  19. Any idea if this green is 42008 green or 42039 green:
  20. Let's make it lime, because Claas Xerion that's why
  21. Does this mean you have to get 42063, 64, 65, 66 by yourself? That sounds awful
  22. So what are the sets that are not present in the batch you got from TLG, asides from 42066
  23. Brace yourself, Grammar Nazi is here.
  24. @Sariel Is the 42066 included in the batch you're going to review?
  25. Just so you know, CM4Sci, the guy who usually does the leak thing, is now banned. Probably the reason why we haven't had anything. And about rumors for 2H sets, we actually have some. Here is what CM4Sci said in September: Since there is no truck in 1H, I think both of them are for 2H.
