  1. I think it is indeed true that the counterweight can slide back and forth. Look at the distance between the 20z gear knob and the 3x7 curve panel!
  2. There is another knob at the back. No idea what it is for. o.O So there are totally 5 knobs. 1 knob is a 20z gear, serving as a HOG steering. 3 12z-gear on the side, 1 12z-gear at the back.
  3. Maybe Markus is too tired of making "the next big thing" for the past 7 years lol. 8110, 42009, 42043, 42055.
  4. The telescopic function doesn't use the worm gear either, unlike the past 3 mobile cranes. All the more reason to think this is not from Markus.
  5. @Sariel Did you have to fly to denmark and physically sign an NDA
  6. Brace yourselves, system bricks are coming.
  7. The general idea is to make the springs more relaxed, so I intentionally let the top of the pole reverse handles open to allow movement of the grey connector. Besides, the axle of the reverse handles isn't the place with lowest friction. It's the axle hole of the reverse handles/ When I flip the wings up and down, the reverse handles will bend backwards a bit during the flip.
  8. I should have opened a 42063 MOD thread for this, but I don't think there would be many mods, I'd share it here. The 42063 B model springs bugs me. The springs are 6.5L long, but are connected to 6L long, so they are always compressed. This causes the connector at the ends of the spring bend backwards. I fix that by extending the connection points by 0.5L. Now the springs are more relaxed and everyone is happy
  9. No there is a 1x1 stud in trans green, above the wheel arch of the lower front wheel.
  10. There's an 8-petal-flower thingy on the wheel cap. Any idea what part that might be? Another observation: there is some kind of lever and a green light in the undercarriage, in front if the cab. Could be another function.
  11. Does anyone one have a list of parts that are prone to crack, like 3L pin with 1L bush? I wanna stock them for regular maintenance.
  12. I have no idea either. I think the B model is gonna be at a huge scale, because it reuses the wheels from the A model. So the orange fan blade maybe too small for this. My guess is that it's gonna look kinda like this: Functions can include outriggers, tilting arm, telescopic extension, and drill rotation. The black quadrants can be used as I-dont-know-what-to-call-them-maybe-spiral-drill-leaves at the top.
  13. It's funny that the Forklift 42079 has a MK IV at the back, but this crane doesn't. I've had my doubts as well about whether the letters are MK or OK. If this set wasn't design by Markus it would be the first time since 2012 that the flagship isn't designed by either Markus or Uwe. It's a drilling vehicle.
  14. The multidirecrtional gearbox has a problem: many functions can be engaged simultaneously, which can strain and drain the power source. So I think the Bionicle tooth next to the H6 gearbox is a mode switch. It switches between functions in the superstructure and those in the undercarriage. There are 3 independent gearboxes in the set already: one in the superstructure, two on both sides of the undercarriage. There has got to be a mode switch.
  15. If you strain the drive train too much then it's the normal 24z that will snap first. I've experienced that when I switched the two clutch 24z gears with two normal 24z gears, and put it on the move mode. The 24z gear in the undercarriage broke.
  16. I also feel that the sloped panels on the right feel like sloppy patchwork...
  17. You know time has gone by when 5 years ago what you've got is only this:
  18. Indeed it look like the wheel and tyre similar from 42084.
  19. @Timoonn Ah yes the gearbox in the superstructure is already confirmed to be a H6 like that.
