    Racing Speedboat microscale vignette.The "sea" part is made in a way that the hull of the speedboat seems submerged as in reality.It contains 235 pieces and throws a lot of water...I also made an alternative front end in parts designer that can be made if you chop the ball of a 4131 party hat and glue it to the cone and one with a 24482 spear that you can easily make if you dont like the front part to be only the 2x2x2 cone.Enjoy and comment if you like it. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=245825

    It's a snowmobile or an airplane??? It's a Snowplane!!! A peculiar snow machine propelled by an airplane-type engine and pusher propeller!! This moc was first cocneived and built in 2016 but now it is improved (no non existant colors,improved stability). It contains 729 pieces and it includes real suspension,opening doors with detailed interior,steering from the steering wheel,powerfuntions motor,a variable ptich propeller (adjustable blade angle) to use as a kind of "gearbox" to achieve a desired RPM range and the innovation of brick separators as skis!!! It's external design is also inspired from curvaceous old train and car designs.I hope you like it!!!     Miss Octan is aiming to break the Lego water speed record!!!! She contains 806 parts!!! She features 8 massive flame spitting jet engines and a huge spoiler!!!! The concept of this build is a powerboat loosely based on any record smashing boats and Ekranoplans but rather with an approach to be pleasing to the eye (I'm a mechanical engineer but no engineering accuracy is present here,sorry:P).The front and the bottom pieces are a Lego airplane tail!!!The design was straightforward and joyful and stability was a fundamental factor of the building process.     Ok,the limited parts restrain the level of detailing(and since their target audience is not we,Afols it's a justified decision).But they had to include at least opening doors(to give some functionality to the cars).If their audience are these ages,then why not to increase playabillity(functionality for us)...?Why to make some cars so unreal-looking(children and teenagers will probably prefer diecast,diecast miniatures of these cars in 1/18 scale are in the same price with Lego).Anyway the series has great sets like the ferrari truck or the McLaren pitstop(which are nice because they are detailed,even if the truck hasn't opening doors but we are mocers...and because formula 1 cars can be built nicely with a limited number of pieces.I have these sets and they have also great pieces such as the new mudguards and rims...but they aren't the modular car theme I have in my mind(this theme will include more detailed mid-sized,functional and more expensive car and truck sets and it will also have small sets/packages with spoilers,hoods and other accessories which will be interchangable(you will buy separate the car and separate the accessories packs )
