Hello!This is my latest moc a creator styled,5 widerace car from the 1920's.It featured steering,detailed engine,opening hood,detailed interior(with steering wheel,pedals,gauges and a lever for changing speeds).I used extensively the S.N.O.T in the shaping of the back part,so tell me if you like it So let's see it. It has steering with this simple steering mechanism,that I found: It has a detailed but no so comfortable (anyway,it's a racecar)interior You can see it's bullet shape from this side view pic,it also featured a huge exhaust and spots for racing numbers This fast to death vehicle is very old and clearly very unsafe(as all the cars of it's era)but brave drivers can win many races in it...first the mechanic must start the car with this big handstarter!!! In the back I used the snot technic,in order to give it the common pointed shape of the back parts from 20's racers. This red racer has a strong straight-8 engine which provide it with much horsepwer to beat it's rivals in every Grand Prix...it has so many victories Good bye for now,I will come back with more mocs.All comments are accepted(especially these that will suggest me changes to improve my car and will inform me about mistakes that need to be fixed),I will be very glad to hear your opinions What did I do wrong with the photos?I uploaded them via the uploader and now they are not visible,please tell me what I should do. Nice review !Strangely enough,I really liked this set when I first saw it!The design is attractive and the proportions of the model are good(I like the fact that it's bigger than the usual city vehicles)so good job Lego .The main drawback for me is the lack of doors,I regard my sets as models of real vehicles not toys,and all the real pickups have opening doors and opening hood(I expect opening hood from the city vehicles every year but Lego dissapoints me every time ... ).Anyway,I will make them myself.The other drawback is the seat.I want brick-built seats for city vehicles(as in Creator)but Lego is dissapointing me again...I also like the car(it also has opening doors...).

Thank you for your kind comment Yes the big sets will be very expensive,but it will be a non-licensed theme and I'm sure strong collectors(with big collections,who spend a lot of money in Lego bricks and sets) and of course the car lovers will buy these sets although I agree that the may not sell well.As for the modular vehicle theme,I mean a theme with reallistic and functional vehicles.In my opinion speed champions are toys for children,their sets are the least reallistic cars I've ever seen,I prefer diecast rather than them,except the ferrari truck and McLaren pitstop.They are also non functional...And I said that in the modular car theme,they will be idependant sets with side skirts,chrome packs,spoilers and other accessories that will be interchangable for all car(and other for trucks)set(that does not exist in the speed champions range) .

I want very much to see some really big and super realistic vehicle sets with over 5.000 pieces in the model team style.This theme will include (non licensed) big american and of course european trucks something wich is relatively rare with lego,racing cars,construnction and farming equipment,like brick built(and no technic,wich are already really good ) excavators,tractors,cranes,some classic and muscle cars,off roaders,etc... My second idea is a theme with steampunk vehicles like early steampunk cars and trucks(as these from the dawn of automotive history). Lastly,I suggest a theme of modular vehicles like cars and trucks.These will be very realistic,they will have interchangable parts and thay can be tuned and persolnalised with the addition of a variety of smaller independant sets like front and back spoilers,skirts,chrome parts packs,new hoods,etc...This will be a non licensed theme wich will include mostly japan style cars,american muscle cars and american trucks(vehicles which are the object of the tuning scene )...Give me your opinion about my ideas,thank you

l (as a car fanatic) like the vehicle focus of the group but there are buildings in the creator and archutecture theme(non for minifig in the latest).

Υes I agree that reviers must be objective but everyone has it's own opinion I love the 8295,8289 and 8274 so I will give them a 4.5,this is my opinion and if someone disagrees with me he can just tell it and review the set on his own...Anyway,congratulation to the reviewer,great review!!! I love the functionality and the awesome look of the telehandler,it doesn't look skeletal as other technic sets!I love the 4 wheel steering!

It was the (boom of)42009.I made the extension of the boom and when I put it into the boom I thought that I made a mistake with the springs but I actually didn't...I was thinking of what was going wrong for an hour before continue the construction anyway to find in the next steps that all were correct....

That's superb!I love it and it's colorscheme is nice!This is a must buy!

Superb and funny review,congratulations I believe that this is a very nice truck but I wanted to see it in the creator range and not in the toy story theme.I bought this truck and I displayed next to my other creator and model team trucks,it looks equivalent to them but it was expensive because of the license and these minifigures(I think that they are great for others but I don't use minifigures) The truck has awesome functions but the main drawback is that it doesn't have opening doors as not only all the real garbage trucks but all the real trucks have...no real truck has an opening windscreen

Superb review of a great set!This is one of my favourite classic sets becouse of all these functions(engine,suspension)and it's great design with less than 100 pieces used( only 52 )!Congratulations for the review!I think that it's an outstanding set and surely worth 5 stars

This is instalty recognizable,it's amazing!

I may be intrested in desert racers,fast car and construction vehicles as I want to collect all the Creator-Model team cars and trucks.
