Wondered if anyone had The Eraser from the Batman CMF series. By rubbing off one of the eyes I think you could get a good IG88 head. I had a feel of some packets but couldn't find him!

Finally recieved the last BL order I needed - the build can commence! Only issue was it was impossible to find the scala dishes in LBG so I've gone with DBG for them, which I'm OK with. I intend to throw a little bit more DBG and also some sand blue into the mix in order to fit in with the style of the most recent AT-ST. This is the first time I've followed someone else's moc instructions and it's also going to be a Father & Son project - really excited!

Check out this report from jedinews on their visit to London toy fair. Looks like no new info will be available as afols and press have been invited to a separate reveal of new sets at a later date. http://www.jedinews.co.uk/featured/articles/uk-toy-fair-2017/ -
A request on Rogue One Movie Spoliers.

I actually felt the 3D was used really well in the film. It was particularly good during the space battle - it didn't feel over the top like it can in some films, it just added depth. However, I've seen in in 2d too, and it's still brilliant! -

Not a very inspiring selection of minifigures, but I'm really pleased to see the imperial officer - appearance in the advent calendar usually drives the price of a minifigure right down. Just search reddit lego links - you should see the thread. -
I'm really chuffed that you posted these pictures today - I just ordered a load of imperial technicians just get the hats for Krennic, ISB agents and older shuttle pilots, so I've got loads of spare legs! Still need a few more for my fleet trooper squad though. I also think the technician torso and head can be used as a reasonable Rebel Yavin 4 radar operator type technician when matched up with a hair piece. They seem to just wear grey overall type outfits like this guy:
-
They look great in my opinion. I'm guessing those legs are from the imperial technician from the battlepack.
-
The back actually just features more pouches and ammo capsules, so looks pretty good (sorry if you were joking!).

Picked up the newest rebel trooper battle pack 75164 recently and it's a great source for mix-and-match generic rebels, However, glancing at the Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide reveals that the troops included and those from the other Rogue One sets are actually based on named characters. Do you agree with my allocations... In the picture from the book, you can see his distinctive helmet obviously under his arm. The only troops listed in the Visual Guide missing are: Sergeant Ruescott Melshi (who actually had the biggest speaking part in the film), Corporal Stordan Tonc (played by Jordan Stephens from the UK band Rizzle Kicks), Corporal Jav Mefran (played by Francis Magee) and the two female troopers Corporal Walea Timker and Corporal Rodma Maddel. All these missing troops would be pretty easy to MOC if you pick up a couple of the RO troop battle packs, along with the previous rebel alliance (battlefront) battlepacks.

Picked up couple of the new Batman Movie cmf just to get some of the parts and came up with the following... Captain Rae Sloane - I know the smile and lipstick aren't really ideal, but the evil eyebrows seem to off set that a bit. Head from the Barbara Gordon cmf. Rebel soldier (actually Corporal Eresko Casrich) - with added utility belt! This comes with the Catman cmf, and would be ideal to add a bit of variety to Endor Rebels etc. Would be great to get this in black for Death troopers and white for Scout troopers.

Not strictly star wars but might be if interest to users here... channel 4 in the UK are looking for Lego moc builders to be part of some sort of televised competition! http://www.channel4.com/programmes/take-part/articles/all/are-you-a-lego-obsessive/4990 -

I see that the prices on UK shop at home have jumped up - £409 for Death Star and £44.99 for AT ST are a couple of examples. That's more than a 10% jump for the AT ST! -

After seeing the new Rebels trailer, I might need to rethink how many Death Trooper battle packs I buy! -

Just to be devils advocate here... A large proportion of users here were absolutely furious when Lego re-released the Death Star last year. I know the Falcon has been out of production for a long time (unlike the Death Star) and now is financially out of reach of most people (unlike the original Death Star), but there seems to be no one complaining that this could just be another expensive re-release. Are people hoping it's a remake which improves upon the original or is it the case that this time people are just happy to be able to buy the set again? -
I think this is fantastic and also believable as a genuine set. It reminds me of the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom set from a few years ago or some reason.

Admittedly I can only find the Republic tank image, so might be missing out on some data here, but I'm already massively disappointed with this wave. There were so many Rogue One ships and locations that could/should have reviewed sets buthe we'recommend getting a load of non-Canon stuff! TFA received a further 2 sets last summer. Is it just the case that we're not aware of all the sets yet? -
To me, she's royalty. So, so sad. RIP Carrie - MTFBWY.

Considering how much abuse Lego got for not rounding the walls off when the death star was re-release, I presumed wed see tons of mocs showing "what could have been". I've yet to see a single one! Maybe it wasn't such as easy task as a lot of people suggested!. Would love to see your pics as I will.hopefully be picking up the death star really soon.

It's from the Rogue One Souvenir magazine. There are views from a few angles. I'll take a pic of the whole page when I get the chance. The magazine, which is worth getting, is available from WH Smith for a fiver if you're in the UK.

The hatch is a fairly easy fix - but should actually open to the side. -

Curse you autocorrelation! -
I've only had the briefest of tinkers with this after looking at the Rogue one Souvenir magazine. As previously mentioned, lengthening the engines (changing the tips to screen accurate transfer light blue) and the wing tips (I only added 4 studs) give a much more accurate shape. I also added a bit to the rear of the cockpit, but it needs more work.

Having seen the film a couple of times I noticed that the imperial "hover"tank is no such thing - it has wheels! Reference to the new visual guide book confirms it is indeed a vehicle with catapillar tracks just as a normal 'Earth' tank would have. Is this another case of lego working off concept art/early ideas, or maybe it was too tricky to include rolling tracks in a build this size. Let the MOCing commenced!
