Do they not exist anymore?

That's awesome! A BB-8, perhaps using one of the planet assemblies as a base(some custom stickers applied as well) would make a cool BB-8 to along with it. I'm not a huge fan of the constraction figures but it definitely nice to see MOCs at this scale.

I wonder how troublesome it would be for Lego to just send the pieces with stickers pre-applied. This of course would make using stickers for MOCs a little more troublesome if you wanted it on a different piece.

I couldn't even tell it was white until someone mentioned it. I think this looks awesome. Some custom stickers on the head for eyes would look really nice I think. Spectactular job.

The stickers on the windscreen of the newer UCS X-Wing is such a PAIN to put on that lego gives you two sets of them. Ya know, just in case.

Cheapest RO set is forty dollars excluding the constraction figures :(. I really hope Lego doesn't feel compelled to add some silly variation on the R1 regular stormies. -
I love this shot. What torso/leg combo is that on Luke?

My Cavegod UCS build via cjd223's instructions
jhaelego replied to lanesteele240's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really enjoy seeing this process. I bricklinked a custom minifig scale AT-AT, so I know the struggle of sourcing a lot of these pieces. Those 8x8 dishes were by far the biggest pain. I have 3 on my UCS ISD, but I have the old gray version, and I think they stick out like a sore thumb on the head of the AT-AT. As for the legs, due to how the AT-AT itself looks, there really is not asthetically pleasing way to construct them in a sturdy way. Cavegod's model is a big larger than mine(his is larger than minifig scale), but I noticed that once you get the entire walker standing up with the body on it, the 4 legs in conjuction actually work together really well in keeping the large model upright. -
Bricklinking the 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon :-)
jhaelego replied to Polo-Freak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow this is really coming together. I'm torn between that place where on one side, I'd love to try to piece one of these together, but on the other, I started making an LDD of Marshall Banana's Falcon(I'd like to add an interior). -
Well that guy looks exactly like the one we see looking for Finn on Jakku. Honestly, I think It's just an inaccurate minifigure, lol

[MOD] Millennium Falcon microfighter (75030)

I could totally see a small scenery MOC at this scale. Perhaps a Death Star hangar?- 12 replies

Nice! Can't wait to see it with the canopy finished. It's a shame the orange parts are so expensive.

Very KOTOR-esque by having your own crew populating the ship. I like it!

It should be around for a while I imagine. I think you'll definitely be safe in May. -
Thats an awesome pick up. My recent haul: -5 FO Battle packs -2 FO SF Tie Fighters -FO Snowspeeder -Loose Saisee Tinn from Palpatine's Arrest, and movie styled Barriss Offee

Is there a post requirement for making polls? I've read that you have to have the correct rank, but I have seen other Citizen users create a topic with a poll, yet I cannot. Thanks.

I'm a fan! You managed to fit a lot in the small space of the cantina. Good work.

I couldn't see then doing a small Slave 1 while the UCS is still on the shelves. I imagine the UCS will be around well after the release of R1.

Oh don't get me wrong. The podrace is fantastic. The rest of the movie though(excluding the duel of the fates), is bantha poodoo. While you are correct that the FO heavy gunner on jakku does have a backpack and regular gun, it still doesn't have the extra pockets on the straps.

I feel like Lego is trying hard to piss the fans off this year. First with the infamous UCS Hoth and now this. This is the most dissapointing thing since Star Wars Episode 1.

For what you would spend on the large amount of big plates, the shield generator pieces, magnets, technic bricks, engine wheels and etc. you'd be better off just buying the complete set used from someone. I considered bricklinking one and went through quite a few options and they all were much pricier than what I ended up doing(finding a complete one on bricklink for $800 USD.

I'm still not fully sold on the hairpiece for tarkin. I think he just needs a unique mold.
