I believe he has special access to them, unavailable to us.

I was pretty underwhelmed by this set during the initial unveiling. Once I finally experienced it in person, my opinion completely changed. It's really amazing how solid the build is. I plan on picking one up for christmas.

This is super speculatory, but for what it's worth, the latest Droid tales episode uses the UCS Millenium Falcon, with a few modifications, which is interesting considering that there has been an OT Falcon since then.

I was able to fit all 6 figures in mine. The pilot with the FO officer standing behind him, the two FO crew standing facing each other behind him, and Kylo and Hux sitting on the two sides in the back. Probably could fit another sitting between them,

10030 indeed. After 9 and a half hours of building, this baby is finally built. Here's to a long summer of saving money and scavenging eBay/bricklink/Amazon/craigslist posts for this set. I can now finally say that I own my favorite Lego set.

One of the best MOCs I've ever seen. Lego Star Wars the game was what got me back into Star Wars so this really hits home.

Saw a video by JangBricks showing a modded Kylo Ren shuttle and decided to try it out. I'm away at school with limited pieces, so nothing extra was used here. I merely took peices off, and reattached where the upper technic liftarms are braced to the frame. The angles aren't PERFECT but I love the way it came out. Looks so much cooler on display this way. I feel like Lego could have easily made this a feature in the set, even if they designed the set before the teaser.

Had around 40 in line at my local TRU. Just stopped in for the commemorative brick. Picking up Kylo's shuttle and the falcon tomorrow at the Lego Store. Now to sleep...

I got to play with the FO Transporter at work and it's a great set. Minifigs are beautiful, lots of play features, and a decent amount of room on the inside to carry troops and hold their weapons. The Snowspeeder is also really nice. It looks much bigger when it is built, and is VERY solid.

I know exactly how you feel. I am a young college student working on a huge Podrace project. Coruscant is quite a beast to tackle, so you'll be putting some effort/time/money into it. Honestly, one of the biggest things that has helped me with these huge projects is working at a lego store. Most of my MOC purchases come from Bricklink, but the tons and tons of filler peices that I need for under the mountains and the stadium come from the PAB wall. Having an employee discount is extremely beneficial for that. So if you're looking for work and there's a lego store nearby, that may be something to look into. One of the biggest parts of taking on MOCs like these is understanding that they will take lots of TIME. Don't go out and buy tons of baseplates to cover the area you want to build on then go from there. Figure out how youcan separate your MOC into sections, and tackle one at a time. You still get the fulfillment of building and completing small projects, you aren't spending mass amounts of money at once, and over time, they'll build up to create something HUGE. Finally, check craigslist and such for huge Lego hauls. This is sometimes a cheaper way to get bulk brick. Happy building!

I believe he's refering to the imperial landing craft. There was a Lego set of it at one point.

Now that we have confirmed Kylo's ship doesn't have the wings that rotate 45 degrees, do we know whether or not the ship in the movie has the retractable wings like the lego set, along with the rotation?

I think Ren's helmet looks fine. Minifig heads by definition are much larger than they proportionally should be, so of course a helmet surrounding that will look large. I don't think it looks unnaturally large however. Couple that with the fact that we haven't actually seen Kylo Ren with his helmet on without a hood.
