Best wing mod that I have seen. Care to show how you accomplished this?
-
Oh my... Do words exist to convey how great this is?

I would like to see some of the Podracer pilots released(surprise surprise), along with Padme in her various outfits throughout the PT.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
jhaelego replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Could someone give me the proof of purchase number on the back of the instruction book of the FO Transporter? I bought one this past weekend and it was missing the head from the female resistance trooper and am going through Bricks and Pieces to replace it. I don't have access to mine, as it is back home, and I am at school across the country. -
The coffee table idea is brilliant. I may have to do that at some point.
-
Awesome MOC. A few adjustments to the wing lengths and it would be perfect.

I'm a bit late to the game on this, but I picked up the FO Transporter yesterday and I got two of the male resistance troopers head and did not get the female troopers head. I know there have been quite a few QC issues with these sets, but did anyone have an issue like this?

Best current set to start out on bricklinkink the ISD 10300 ?
jhaelego replied to H_Solo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I looked into bricklinking a 10030 pretty extensively but ultimately found that it is much cheaper to just buy a complete one. For the price that Lego originally charged, you get a ridiculous amount of LARGE expensive pieces. You'll easily spend $1600+ trying to bricklink it. I bought a complete used one from bricklink about a month ago for $800. -
Does anyone else find it weird that we got a Special Forces TIE set for Ep 7, but it doesn't come with the special forces TIE pilots?

Wow those are great. They look like stills from an awesome brickfilm.

I think he's joking.

Uh oh. You've been sucked in too. Well say goodbye to all the discretionary income you were previously able to enjoy, haha. On a serious note, those are some nice pick ups. Just tell her it's for educational purposes.

Wow that is beautiful. Great work.

Of course take it with a grain of salt. Thought it was interesting, though. He also says the a-wing and snowspeeder are polybags. I don't know if that had been settled here already.

Flickr user Taylor Stevenson says this is a rumored list for next year.

Wow that's a great pickup. I regret not picking up the stormies when all their elements were on Bricks&Pieces.

Great find! I'm so glad we finally have an Ugnaught. That is probably the most exciting thing to me about this wave. The weird thing about the Carbon Freezing Chamber is that they had the chance to make it it's own standalone set, yet it's still hardly bigger than the one in the old Cloud City set. I'm also a bit dissapointed the stormies have the scars on their helmets. I was hoping to use these as an army builder for the newer Stormtroopers. Guess I'll have to buy a dozen Slave 1s. I would even argue that the 2013 one is more desirable because it comes with Stass Allie.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled JAVA. Everything worked for a 600 piece model but the 4700 piece walker still rendered with the orange background. As such, I imagine this is an OS problem.(I feel like I regret upgrading more and more with each passing day). I'll definitely implement that code in the .sc file and see how it turns out. Do I need to erase any other code or can I just add it in anywhere?
-
Windows 10 is the OS. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall Java. Thanks for all the help! Your mods are fantastic. Another question. I feel like the bevels between the 2x2 tile on the side of the walker are a bit too defined(black) when compared with the bevels elsewhere, more specifically the feet. Is this unique to my render? If so, is it a result of light settings I have set up? Thanks again.

http://www.filedropper.com/scene Here is the sc file. The only thing I have messed with in it is changing the AA to "aa 1 2" as suggested in your tutorial. Interestingly enough, this issue only seems to occur with larger models(The AT-AT walker in that render is 4700 pieces. It is set to sunsky light, however. EDIT: Is there a way to upload a file directly to the forums?

My renders keep coming out with an orange background regardless of what color I choose. Is anyone else having this issue?

The Millennium Falcon colour thread (White, Grey or Blue!)
jhaelego replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Can someone please direct me to these "Brown Tie Bombers" I keep seeing people reference? lol Regarding the Falcon, I too side with the light gray color for Lego. I think the movie shot of the Falcon conveys this the best. I would argue that it isn't Lego's job to produce a model that is most closely related to the studio model, but rather to produce what is most clearly seen in the film, as the appearance of these models can be heavily altered with the use of different filters during the filming process. Even if one believes that lego should be reproducing the studio model, and perhaps the Studio model is a very dull white(I would still argue for gray), this aesthetic is unachievable by Lego, as the Lego white is very shiny and clean looking.- 125 replies
