Sadly, they aren't. Because the real cars have different sizes and TLG keeps a price on all (95€, except the van) the scale is adjusted on every new release.

I personally like the wheels, they give it a cool appearance. The T1 wheels are cheap anyways.

Looks like the Saturn V will be the biggest Ideas set ever, even if they scale it down. Also, glad they aproved the Beatles set!

In June 2016 LEGO released a new Technic subtheme, the Ultimate series. For now we only have the infamous 42056, but what other cars / vehicles / machinery would you want to buy with this kind of treatment? For me, I would like a big airplane, with realistic control surfaces and turbofan engines.
