42056 - Porsche Speculation

That's the normal 911. The GT3 RS logo IS a sticker. I know it because I have seen one in person. I will put a picture later. -

The Porsche logo is actually a sticker in the real car. -

Speed Champions cars have a lot of small pieces to get more details. City sets are targeted to younger children and have bigger parts for easy building. -

Well, many people don't seem to understand that most parts are track links . -

Hope it is red. Yes, it isn't the best colour for your MOCs, and you migh be bored of red cars. I have seen some silver 911 and they are... boring. White is somewhat better in that aspect. I simply don't see it being purple, too bizzare. Red is the colour used in the presentation for this generation GT3, the colour that I (and probably many people) associate to it. You aslo have to consider than this car should appeal aslo to adult car fans that migh be interested in this one. I don't see them buying it purple. -

I'm sure than the lever in the cab controlls the rear wheel steering. -

If I ever liked this set, now I definitively dislike it. Relatively simple (and too slow) functions, ugly, unrealistic. I think that the 42042 is a much bettet set, at half of the prize. -

The cabin looks minifig-scale... -

Red, the set will be red. It's the colour used in the presentation and in official pictures for the 911 991 GT3 RS. BTW, I aslo saw one of these in a local car meeting. Big rear wing. -

I see the same mechanism in the front, with the countwheight, and in the back, with the crane. That means that the crane is modular! Now, one question: how do you control the crane? Does it have driving gears in the crane (something like the pneumatic levers on the Unimog crane, but mechanicall)? Does it have a lot of crankshafts going throught the model? Or is it manual? Aslo, hope it has various steering modes, like the real one. -
This wayve is shaping nicely... The Xerion looks a bit bocky in the front, but cool anyways! The BuWeExtremely ugly looks, well, ugly. Yes, it has many pieces, but still too ugly. The Porsche 911 GT3 is oviously the star of the show! I see some intersting things on it... But, as allways, the coverage of the smaller one (Volvo) is limited. Why do they never focus on the small ones?!?
