  1. But then, why show them at Nuremberg just one week later? I'm sure it's just to generate buzz.
  2. Jim or Jim's source: do you spot any difference between the 42051 prelim and the 42068?
  3. Changing topic, here's a review of 42063 BMW bike B-model: It looks interesting, in my opinion. You can't negate that it's something new.
  4. Source! (WeDo press release). In the end of the page says: Q: Why do you call the elements PF when the connectors are not compatible? A: We call them PF because it is linking up to the new platform. WeDo 2.0 is not compatible with the old WeDo. Although all future PF will be compatible with the new platform introduced with WeDo 2.0. So we know that there will eventually be an update to PF, at least to introduce new connectors. Next year will be the fortieth aniversary of Technic and the tenth of PF, a perfect time to update it. And why not add Bluetooth to integrate Smartphone control? I'm sure that many kids will love to play with that.
  5. Do you have inside info or are you just speculating? On another note, I seriously doubt 42070 will only have two motors. I suspect that PF2.0 (which was pretty much comfirmed) will be introduced to Technic in this set and maybe in the others of the wayve. I think that it could have bluetooth compatibility to compete with Sbrick, and maybe even WeDo sensor compatibility.
  6. Disclaimer: I don't have the picture. Yet. What if the final set doesn't have one, but two remotes like the motorized excavator? What if the image is just a placeholder (I would say so if it looks like the one on 42065)? If my theory is (but probably isn't ) correct, the set could have three functions for drive mode, extending outtrigers to indicate changing modes and three functions for the crane. In my opinion, that would be better than manually controlling some functions and RC others.
  7. There were all sorts of cycles until last year's summer wayve .
  8. Who said that the elevons can only go downwards?
  9. Just saw it, and it's awesome! Not sure if I needed to repeat that, so I'm going to directly discuss my opinion about future sets:
  10. They are out! In the usual places, if you ask
  11. I'm not sure if it would sell. Purple stands out, but pink doesn't. It's also stereotypically associated as a girly colour. Also, the AFOLs on this site seem to hate both new colour shades and red.
  12. I love that F35B-esque jet!! Here's the description in english: -- LEGO® 42066 Flying Competition. Enjoy the attractive building experience with this super-peak, streamlined LEGO® Technic Race plane on which you'll find amazing blue, black and red color scheme and cool sticker competition, as well as many original details and exciting motor functions! Turn on the built-in Power Functions motor and adjust the nozzle to a vertical or horizontal take-off position, open the fuselage, let down and stretch out the landing gear, open up the aperture to view the turbo blades are rotating and set the auxiliary wings flight mode! In front of an impressive all-round model of governance, moveable tail rudder and highly detailed, open cockpit you can find. If you wish to carry out the construction of a new task, you can convert it to magánrepülőgéppé amazing! -- I wonder how you control the flight surfaces. I think that you can use the gear on the front to steer the front wheel, and the one in the back to move the rudder. But how do you move the elevons? Maybe they are moved with the back gear, and the front one controls both the steering and the rudder. Maybe it is controlled by a stick in the cockpit, or maybe by a wheigh in the inside. -- BTW, I supose this set uses elevons:
  13. I think that I see a new piece in the ship's stern. I can also see that it has steering. Also, I love the B-model of the bike!
  14. Today I received a S@H order with more than I ordered (a Technic set and a London bus). It included a free Spiderman SuperJumper polybag as a "special LEGO treat" with a "thank you" card. These are the little details that improve customer reviews!
  15. It's not the first Lego Gingerbread house: This one is a promotional set, if you ask.
  16. Truly amazing!
  17. I think that Lovelace and Babbage is the likeliest of the batch: science-related, unlicensed and not too big.
  18. All Technic licensed models so far have represented modern machines, probably for advertising the brand/vehicle (for example, I didn't know what CLAAS was until set 42054). I don't think that TLG would release a classic motorbike.
  19. I bet that it will be between 500 and 600.
  20. Although the jet looks a bit ugly, it looks like there are some interesting functions. Here are some observations I made about the jet: Looks like the Jet has moving elevons AND rudders! I think that they are controlled from the levers above the fuselage (for easier acces), and that the motorized functions will be controlled from other parts. I think that you can see the airplane from the back in the sidebar. There are two blue parts bellow the rudders. They might be the exhaust (you can also see a cylinder protuding from that zone on the main picture). So I say it's a twin engine. Looks like there is a function arrow above the cabin, in the sidebar. I hope this has rotating turbines! And if they were removable it would be perfect! I also think that the desing will get modified in the final set, the central part looks too cubic.
  21. Honestly, they look dissapointing. I'll probably have to see better pictures or reviews. At least the ship looks good. There's also a small, red telehander that hasn't been mentioned until now.
  22. Sci said that it looked like this
  23. There is a leaked picture of Chicago Skyline in Lego Reddit. The set looks worse than I expected, in my humble opinion-
