  1. Tarn frowned as the Rockling ate the gold without a pause. "Clearly that won't have satisfied him. Let's feed him Jeaux. He's a bigger morsel." He grinned to show he wasn't serious.
  2. "I agree with Haldor's plan, let us give it a go."
  3. "Agreed. Feel free to offer advice, fellows!" Tarn said to the two rustlers, slapping a surprised Bors on the back.
  4. Tarn nodded at the Nord. "We will not know unless we try. It is sensible to use something of far less value first."
  5. "Unfortunately, Benji, I do not have a gem to hand. Mine are all embued into my weaponry. Therefore I do not think Helbaerend or Lion's Heart would make a good lure. I am, however, willing to try if it is the will of the party."
  6. "I am not suggesting we actually let them eat a gem. But perhaps we could use one as a lure."
  7. Tarn thought back to a previous Quest in the Silverpick Mine. "I have seen one of these creatures before. In a mining quarry. That one liked to eat gems."
  8. Tarn nodded to the hooded Assassin. "Your words make sense, Benji. Now let us depart."
  9. My first two Quests were around 5 weeks each, the third one 10 weeks (conclusion of a story arc). I have been brainstorming several ideas but still have nothing concrete yet, not sure when I would be able to actually run them either.
  10. Tarn examined his meagre supply of consumables. He had not been able to buy many before he set out. "Do you think I should take any before we meet the Rocklings, or should I save them for worse fights ahead?" he asked the others with a frown on his face, just visible under the noble mask.
  11. "We were headed next to Rockling Road, north of these Springs, were we not?" Tarn asked of the party. Seeing Alan and Bors pushing the dazed Spitosaur into a cage, he asked "How long have you fellows been lizard rustlers?" OOC: I have just realised Tarn's SP should be 6 rather than 7, as he's not wearing the Horned Hat anymore. I never spotted that until now. Sorry!
  12. Tarn wiped sweat from his brow, as the poson effects subsided. It had been a very tricky fight. OOC: Due to the noble mask, Tarn should also get gold for each enemy in the battle, so 5 extra gold.
  13. OOC: Yes, the Raider damages all enemies on a Shield roll, and also gains gold equal to each enemies' level.
  14. OOC: I would have though that the battle would be over when there was one Spitosaur left with under 50 health? Tarn was more confused by the battle than ever, probably due to the poison in his system. He was sure he had whirled Helbaerend like he had done when he was a Barbarian, hitting every enemy, but maybe that was just a fever-dream.
  15. I really love how fleshed out the Wolfgang have become, both in terms of personnel and intentions. Awesome stuff.
  16. "We have nearly completed our objective here!" Tarn readies Helbaerend and attacks Spitosaur C from the front row. Bors goes across and comforts Alan.
  17. I just love Russel so much. He's amazing Needs his sword back though.
  18. "We have nearly got this!" exulted Tarn, who once agaon readied Helbaerend and attacked Spitosaur C from the front row whilst Bors did nothing. OOC: Has the poison been taken into account this round? At least Bors should have less health.
  19. Power creep is when heroes and enemies keep getting stronger but stuff like bombs don't.
  20. Tarn growled as the lizard nipped at him, but he saw that his team-mates had done well in culling the number of the beasts. He held Helbaerend firmly and attacked Spitosaur B from the front row. Bors did nothing.
  21. Indeed not, Action Girl
  22. I was all "Yay!" Tarn got a prominent mention, and then the Trope, which sounded cool initially, basically wasn't
  23. "I believe that lizard is more damaged than it appears, Haldor. Trust me!" OOC: we think CJP didn't account for the Assassin's Lethal Aim, instead calling it a miss, so it should lose 60 health.
  24. "Haldor, I believe Jeaux means that we should leave Spitosaur E to be felled by my Counterstrike, which is a sound strategy. Choose another target." Tarn readied himself now that the blindness had passed and attacked Spitosaur C from the front row using Helbaerend. Bors did nothing in the back row.
  25. Tarn shivered, a reaction to the poison still coursing through his veins despite the healing from the Shaman. Or was it the strange automaton calling him "lad"? "Apologies, Jeaux. I am feeling a little disorientated. Carry on with whatever attack you wish. I will stay in the back row and do nothing, and Bors will do likewise."
