  1. When my layout was still up, I had enough track to run two to three 9V's on one medium sized loop. Depending on how long the trains were. If they were 2-4 cars, I could do three. The room's perimeter is 18.83'x 5.5' (226inx 66in) and the loop was about 12ft . I never used them much before my "dark age" or when my city growing exponentially starting in 2009 when that ended. Whenever I move them into a new house, I, like 'kyphur' plan to have a very large layout with numerous trains running. Primarily they will be 9V with a few smaller PF lines. Until then, they will remain boxed and that, just a dream
  2. Good lookin' 'lt'. At first I thought 'Cpt J' might have accidentally mixed the bumper assemblies up (grill tiles on the rear; solid tile front). Then I remembered TLG started using stickers for grills. Not too sure about those... They are nice, not as I imagined them to be. Never the less, I have been waiting for round tiles but, indeed square would look better. Maybe a complete new rear light assembly That's exactly what I have planned when I get/build this set. I'd say go for blue
  3. After some searching, I found this: 12V Train Motors. I don't have any 12V but, I did skim through this and it might provide some help. Best of luck and welcome to EB!
  4. Very nice creations, 'Hoexbroe'! Especially on the SCNF X3800. That is an awesome remake. Keep up the fantastic work
  5. Two final Bricklink orders for the year... Saving for family Christmas presents, and a S@H order for my birthday in December
  6. Good review 'Cpt. J'. This is on my wanted list but, man I must say, the helicopter and front of the SUV are very disappointing... The heli reminds me of a more complex Town Jr. bird and the SUV needs at least a grill. The rear break lights also don't really work for me either. There will definitely be some mods to this for me
  7. Do we really need wives? Pics would be great! White and brown wouldn't look bad but, gives me, personally, a country feel. Maybe light bluish grey and white? Not sure why but, that, to me, has a city look. Best of luck on your house. Oh, and you said the basement will be special? Maybe have a Lego city built in?
  8. This looked to be a great exhibit! I bet you two had a great time. Too bad you only had a camera on your phone, still not bad
  9. Awesome truck 'Ricecracker'. Great job designing the truck, it looks very much like a western star cab. Keep up the great work
  10. Very nice bar 'alex54'. It does have a very Irish look and looks great among your other buildings. Keep up the great work
  11. Awesome town 'reza95'! More of a city? It looks quite large! ANd what a Lego room. Fantastic collection

  15. Yes, very nice 'Ralph_S'. Your work is very impressive, so realistic!. I wish I had these to display myself. Keep up the fantastic work
  16. Neat Ute 'lt'. I think this design is the winner over the previous design. What kind of boxes do you have in mind for this?
  17. Excellent sport coupe 'wooootles'. I love orange cars and black wheels! The rounded body looks nice and aggressive. I look forward to your next MOC
  18. Neat MOCs 'bootz'. I really like the hatch backs and great job on the fire trucks. Keep up the good work
  19. Great set of new models 'Runamuck'. Big thumbs up to the Jag, Challenger, Police car, Camino, and the orange car! Too bad you have to take a break from building more. How many vehicles left in the game?
  20. Awesome sport car 'ER0L'. Very close to a 308 GTS, the detail is excellent! I take it that was the inspiration? Keep up the great work, I hope to see another
  21. Great MOC 'Kisvakond'. You really nailed the recreation of this little loco. So it has work PF lights? How did you hook these up. I run mainly 9V and want to add lights but, I thought it involved a battery box, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Keep on building
  22. The 58' HO Lego truck? That would be real neat. Talk about an updated version
  23. Ah, the "half-truth' car, tractor dealer... Had similar issue with a motorcycle... Great story
