Worth every penny at Lowes

Awesome set of new cars and trucks 'L@go'. I like them all but, the lime car is my favorite followed by the streamliner. Great job on all of these
-
Nice set of cars 'bricksboy'. Reminds me of a Delorean. I really like the flip up headlights. Great job

LEGO Guy Bri replied to snaillad's topic in LEGO Town
Excellent creation 'snaillad'. I have to agree with 'Man with a Hat', the bay windows look fantastic. The interior is very nice as well. Great job -

Great loco 'jackson233'. Very nice work on the details. Fantastic work after 20 year hiatus -
7 more BL orders for vehicle parts
-
Neat Porsche 'bootz'. Seems this is the car of the month. Maybe shorten the front and use these slopes. Keep up the good work, I love seeing 4 wide MOCs
-
Great layout 'smadman'. You have a wonderful collection. Nice video too, thumbs up

Today I purchased five BL orders for some new vehicles

Fantastic station 'Sava'. Great job on this build, I especially like the work done on the on the water tower. Excellent job -
Great job on this AMTRAK 'Shupp'. It looks fantastic. Is the coach wagon furnished for travel?
-
Thanks 'dantheman11'. I've been wanting to create more vehicles in these rare colors. I will start BLing the pieces next month
-
Definitely a must have but, like 'prateek' stated "not worth my 100 dollars". For me $79.99 seems a bit high for 1300+ small pieces. I will have to give this one some time to simmer

When it comes to MOCcing, most of my inspiration comes from Lego sets. As a purist, I tend to keep my vehicles similar to those already on the road. I've built more variations of the 4x4 from set 6334, Wave Jump Racers, than any other vehicle. Its very cheap and simple to reproduce with some room to add some custom touches. As I build my extra piece stockpile I will move to the modern 4 & 6 wide build style.

My first actual serious MOC I built was a M35 Deuce. I used to drive a M35 Tanker when I worked on a coal yard.
I love these trucks. They are cheap, reliable, and can be modified into monsters! Even the stock ones are solid beasts but, this is what mine is based off

Thanks 'lt', 'L@go', 'legox4' and 'LT12V' for your kind comments. @ 'lt' & 'legox4', I agree, the front is what makes it look like a Porsche, unfortunately the piece in the rear is as close as I could get with a small scale version of this car @ L@go, I can see 914 with the 2 black 2x2 slopes representing the targa top pillars. But, the slope is too steep for a 914 @ LT12V, the lime car is my second favorite. I don'e have many, if any, other lime colored vehicles. I have plenty of 1x2 and 1x4 lime plates and had been meaning to incorporate them in a vehicle

Vehicles of Lego City Police Directorate, Czech Republic
LEGO Guy Bri replied to EM4CZ's topic in LEGO Town
Great creations and mods to these sets 'EM4CZ'. I know this is the first time I've seen a MOCced portable X-Ray Scanner. A very original idea for a build. Looks like your police force is something to be reckoned with. Great job -
Another fine 7 wide sports car 'danthaman'. You really got as close the S2000 look as you can with Lego. Excellent job
-
First, welcome to EB! Next, excellent city block 'RedGiant'. I love the details you put in this display, especially the exposed brick on the white building. It seems that you are experienced with Lego. Very well done

V-LV-32E to V-LV-33C, Small Police Car V-LP-3F It's been a slow month, as far as building goes but, managed to build a few classic town style cars for my collection. All 4-wides! Tell me what you think! First up is a blime tuner, the Tabo, or Turbo. Here is my version of a 911. My favorite of the bunch, is based off of 'Selander's MOC, "Red Open Sport Car". I like his so much I built one but, realized I couldn't fit in a minifig and traditional steering wheel. So I made a larger, wider, roadster. This one is pretty much finished but, may receive a different windshield. Next are a set of 3 new 4x4s. Less of a MOC, more of a mod of TLG,s yellow one from 6334 Wave Jump Racers. They will later make there way to a dealership I have been planning. First up is a red, base model 4x4 Sport. Next is the Super Sport Edition. It's wider, taller, and has a few other upgrades: The third is the XSport Baja Edition, about as radical as I could make vehicle: Finally is a small squad car for keeping speed demons in check. Not to thrilled with the back though. Thanks for viewing. As always comments and suggestions welcomed. Until next time!

Collecting MISB sets
LEGO Guy Bri replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
OccasionallyI win a MISB auction for older sets but, only small cheap ones like this little guy from '96. I paid $2 + $2 to ship. I will open that later for my new city. However, if I bought aset much larger, like 2150/4554 Train/Metro Station, I don't think I would, orshould I say could, open it. Not that I would plan on reselling it either. I'dprobably end up buying a second opened copy. I would have plenty enjoymentdisplaying decade plus old, unopened set. -

This looks promising 'SONIC883'. It's a great color choice. I'm not one to offer advice on engine MOC, as mine are mediocre, let alone steam engines but, maybe take some cab cues from the Emerald Night. I look forward to see this progress, best of luck
-
Great job recoloring this train 'MAWEK LEGO'. It looks awesome in white. The blue does sound like a good suggestion, throw a little contrast in there. Either way, still better looking then the original

Great water tower MOC 'stacker9000'. This will look great next to your EN. Great job
