Definitely could run my 9V's too fast either. The curve track is a bit to sharp for higher speeds, especially if they are longer trains (7+ cars). 3/4 dial turn is about it. I don't mind since the train was around the city anyway. Here in my town, and I'm sure many others, trains can only run at a max of 35-40mph, so it seems a bit more realistic

Thanks 'lightningtiger' and 'HighFlyer' for viewing and commenting on these cars

Thanks 'G.Wookie' for commenting It's next time! Some tires and more lime plates arrived so I was able to finish a couple more simple cars. First is a little convertible beach cruiser I call the Speedster. Here is the next model up the, Speedster R. It will probably lose its trailer hitch. I originally planned to have it pull a jet ski. Next is a more aggressive and unique roadster, the Velocity XR. Thanks again for viewing!

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Lego didn't make an appearance but, in "American Dad", Stan Smith tell's his son Steve to "go upstairs, find his nads, probably in his Lego tub, then go back to that store and get the right size [t-shirt]." I thought it was pretty funny -
Numerous small Bricklink orders for vehicle MOCs

Another top notch build 'Konajra'. This is fantastic, very detailed, and looks very large. What are it's dimensions? Keep up the great MOCs

Awesome Chilis 'bcd' The Detailed work is fantastic!.I was just at our local Chilis yesterday and am finishing the last 2 chip & queso dips right now I must say this one looks much better than ours. Keep up the great work -
Great review on a great classic 'KielDaMan'. I too had to have one of these but, definitely did not a "NEW" one. This came out the same year I did, so cheaper second hand Is that an 'Artifex' Tumbler, he's is about to repair? Keep up the great reviews

Three Flavors of Ford Model A's (All on Lego CUUSOO)
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Brickadier General's topic in LEGO Town
These are excellent Ford MOCs 'Brickadier General'. I too voted for these. They all look awesome, especially the "Getaway Car" and the Tucker. Great job on this build, I look forward to your next -
Very nice work 'slovakiasteph'. Your MOCs are excellent! You've sure seem to be very busy upsizing your town. Any chance of an over all shot of the town? Keep up the great work

Support the bringing back of Cafe Corner and Market Street
LEGO Guy Bri replied to iKonoKlasT's topic in LEGO Town
I do save my boxes. Though I have intention on selling my opened sets, I plan to display them around a larger "Lego Room". That said I wish I had the boxes to the first three modulars. I bought them second hand in a great second hand RRP deal, minus the boxes a year after they were discontinued. The sole reason I ever got into modulars. However, I just checked 10182 on BL and it's $100... for ink and cardboard, I'm out... For the topic at hand, I do like the idea of bringing it back or "Lego Legends" but, when it comes down to it, I vote nay, if it results in deterring from new modulars. As for buying/ hoarding, I have read good points from both sides. I to have bought copies of FB for later resale. TLG made their money from me, I will make another fan, who missed it for whatever reason, very happy to have one. Finally I will use those profits for my addiction to Lego, or at least back into those things I neglected because of... Vicious cycle yet everybody wins -
Awesome layout 'DtM11'. It's great to finally see your layout! I love the double versions of of some of the sets. I've been hoping to see a a larger version of the Town Hall from 10184. A very nice collection and great setup

Today I won sets from 1997 and 1998. A 6444 Outback Airstrip for $20 and 5948 Adventurers Desert Expedition for $15
-
Today I had a second chance offer for a second 7893 Passenger plane for $50. Definitely a price I'm willing to pay for that large plane. I wish TLC would bring back another large plane

At the start of my collection storage was just keeping all my sets in "the Lego Room". As that filled up I started purchasing an assortment of containers varying in size and shape. They were easier to move to the attic. I didn't start bulk buying the large low profile containers until recently after I took down my city. Now there are 27 40x20x8 inch low pro containers, 8 22x15x12 bins, 6 smaller containers, a few cardboard boxes for 9v tracks, road plates, trees, fences, signs, etc. And, of course 6 sorting drawer boxes and many unopened sets. I sort BL ordered pieces by color, relevancy, etc. I prefer not to part out my sets. All of this fit in in the triangular shaped "Lego Room" seen in link below More storage

Custom printed Euro and US Dollar Banknotes!
LEGO Guy Bri replied to TASTER's topic in General LEGO Discussion
All of those are awesome and the pictures with them "fresh of the printing line" look like the real thing! I may have to order a couple sets of these -
Thanks 'JmB' and 'lt' for your comments. I am a little turned off by the front bumper hanging a bit low, as well. It might take a bit of redesigning. I was trying to configure it keeping the mudguards as close to the tire as possible with the pieces I had. Since then some BL orders have arrived, so it'll be under the brick separator before long

Great set of vehicles 'mifody'. This is some serious hardware. I like the armored trucks the most but, the transport truck and heli aren't far behind. Keep up the great work
-
Very nice modular 'papercla'. This would make a very nice townhouse or next to the Pet Shop. Great job

Today I present a new model for my cargo line. A modern city style flatbed truck with a sizable cargo capacity and a fresher "paint" scheme. Its designed for a free lance driver or perhaps will end up on a farm. Hope you like! It's rather simple, and I suppose it takes more design cues from European lorries than it's American counterparts. Thanks for checking it out! Suggestions and comments always appreciated

Neat bakery 'lt'. Love the color, it really pops. I'd definitely visit a bakery painted orange. If it were mine, I'd call it "The Bakers Orange" or something that rhymes with... oh wait Great job, can't wait to see what you name it!

10159 Century Skyway and 7738 Coast Guard Heli and Life Raft for under RRP, as well as a few more BL orders
-
45 high is pretty big. Good thing you have all those panel elements. This up to par with your other great space MOCs. Can't wait to see your next creation
-
Awesome build 'Teazza'. This looks really big. How tall is it? The details are fantastic, great job @ 'lighningtiger', NASA, KSC refers to their shuttle assembly building as the VAB or Vehicle (orig. Vertical) Assembly Building

Are you using the space bar in the folder title? If you have multiple words you can only use this, - to space them. That and the A through Z and 0 through 9. You can only use the space bar in the folder description. It's really dumb and annoying but that might be that problem
