  1. Excellent MOC 'Sergio'. You all did a fantastic job recreating this train! Keep up the great work
  2. Another great MOC 'snaillad'. Lovely detailed work, especially the interior. It's very elegant, keep up the great MOCs
  3. Today instead of a MOC, I have a simple, practacle mod that any one can do! I was recently lucky to win a 7734 Cargo Plane for a reasonable 2nd hand price. Upon completion, I was a little shocked and disappointed to find an extremely small cargo hold. For such a large plane, I figured that it would have spanned most of the fuselage. For those who don't have the plane, the cargo hold is only as long as that 1x8 light gray plate right before the tail section. Big enough for maybe two of those crates. No wonder it only came with one... So instead of complaining, I did something about it. Why I love Lego! After I received the wings, a part accidentally left out by seller, I got to remodeling the interior bay. Apart from a very slight height issue for taller cargo, due to the large wing piece, it came out quite nice IMO. So here are the pics of a very easy mod to make that plane more efficient. I believe further mods can be made to drop the floor a stud but, for now a useable concept. Hope you enjoy Overview: Ramp sliders for easier loading/unloading: The far left tile will probably get a stud lift, level with the yellow guide rail, for the pilots. Obviously , they have to crawl to the cockpit. As you can see, if cargo reaches the green, it's is too tall and can't slide under the wings. Due to a rise in cargo shipments, more carts have been purchased and assembled for quicker loading/unloading times Thanks for looking!
  4. In the South Park Documentary: 6 Days to Air, Matt Stone and Trey Parker explain how they like to take breaks and go build Lego whenever they get in a bind. Genius
  5. And should change in the basement Great house 'lisqr', very original! Great job furnishing the inside as well. Keep up the great work
  6. Very nice ville, 'tiammath'. Lovely work on the architecture and nice choice of colors for the masonry. Excellent job, keep up the great work
  7. Rest assure, I'll leave the rest for others, I'm tapped out on these! Today I won anther 6667 Pot Hole Patcher for $4.99
  8. Great MOC 'Strikeman'! I don't think I've seen someone MOC one of these. It looks like it works very well. Great job and good luck
  9. Great review 'Brickviller'! I'm very excited that we finally get a tandem rotor heli! Though I wish it wasn't a police craft, it's still awesome, and the 6x6 is something sweet in itself. I can't wait to get one
  10. Awesome truck 'AS'! Great design and build execution. The lights really make this over the top. Excellent job
  11. That side piece you see is actually this piece. It's the replacement of the 9V parts. It comes in the newer bluish gray
  12. Good to know, thanks for clearing that up. Sounds like they are really moving them
  13. That is bizarre, glad mine few are fine. I did't know they could go negative... I get that it's a mistake but, would that mean you owe TLG money? They already have our souls
  14. I guess I'm just as confused as you or something. Look here below in stock, it says 35 new from $89.99. I must have misrepresented what is actually available. My mistake
  15. Panicked, two more EN's from Amazon. Get them while they last
  16. I would say it would be worth it. I just ordered one from Amazon, not for resale but, there were only 35 available. I would get them while you can Edit: We'll, I panicked, took your idea and ordered two more. I don't think they will dip much lower than $89.99
  17. Excellent job recreating this house! The details are great, its a great recreation. Fantastic job
  18. Bought, what is probably my last, 10194 Emerald Night for $89.99
  19. D*mn it! I had three in my cart, waiting for my check to clear and now they are back at retail $119... Why Amazon, why?
  20. Alright everyone, I took and applied some of the suggestions. So here is the newly modified cab! 'HighFlyer' here is a shot of the front for ya For 'L@go' and 'ER0L', here is a side view of the new windshield and 1x2 tile for the mirrors. At least I hope thats what you meant by 1x2... or was it a 1x2 cheeser? As I had mentioned above, I had finalized this truck build by separating the chassis from the body. Once I had the overall length of the truck established, I started pulling it apart to redesign the chassis so it could be a complete subassembly. Here they are apart: Chassis Body And the marriage of the two main assemblies: Thanks for your suggestions! Hope I got them right. More photos can be seen in here or in my sig for the full collection of MOCs and stuff. Enjoy
  21. Very nice work 'TDG'. Your modular city is very elegant. The buildings are great and I love the trolley. What are the current dimensions? Keep up the fine work
  22. Thank you Rocketbilly! Unfortunately for me, you're right about the white pieces. Luckily lime was the only other color I had for the fender slopes Thanks, 'lt', for commenting on my truck. I do, indeed, have a small surplus of those wall pieces Thank you 'dr_spock'. Indeed it could handle, another axel, unfortunately I ran out for the moment. Luckily she has a strong back bone. I've thought about giving it a tandem axel but, as I looked around, I noticed they make up the majority of my trucks. This one is a nice change for my collection Thank you for your kind word, 'L@go'. I, too, am not as fond with the grill either but, using the flat grill tile looked less attractive, IMO. I will be replacing the windshield when the 2x6x2's arrive Thank you, 'ER0L', for your comments and suggestions. In a perfect world there would definitely be stickers but, until I finally get the necessary supplies, to create them, I'm afraid it'll have to stay bare. Hopefully sometime soon though Thank you 'HighFlyer'! I will have a few more pics uploaded tomorrow, providing a shot of the front Many thanks to everyone who viewed and to those who provided comments and suggestions!
  23. In the past I saw a few other MOCs of cargo trucks with lift gates. So I decided I would like to at least have one, even if it didn't have the lift. After a few rebuilds, resulting from a weak chassis or length problems, I finished it's final design. The truck is actually assembled as a real one would be. It's cab and cargo box can be separated from it's complete, drivable chassis and steering column. I decided to also give it a lift gate and still have uphill ground clearance. Instead of keeping it completely white I gave it a bit of the only other color I had in that specific slope, used on it's quarter panel. Apart from the picture lighting quality, tell me what you think! Front Left View Lift Gate Retracted Cargo Space Lift Gate Down And Raised, and yes the lever is absolutely essential for proper functioning Comments and suggestions always welcome! Thanks for looking
  24. Please do keep us all posted on your city's updates! I love seeing large layouts! I thought about bidding on a few of those restaurants myself. I'm not much of a real good brickitect when it comes to buildings and structures. I am pretty sure he, too, is a member on here. They really look good in your layout. Keep on expanding
  25. I, too, apply all stickers to my sets. I will also order cheap sticker sheets, that I can use, for MOCs or future MOCs
