Thank you for your detailed answer! I don't know which set or sets they came in. Below is a picture with the swords next to a dark bluish gray weapon. It's definitely not Pearl dark grey according to your description. I don't get the colors right since all three swords are in different colors.

Hi! Could someone please help me identify the colors of theses three swords? My guess is from left to right: Pearl light grey, flat silver, Pearl dark grey. Could someone confirm that info?

Hello everyone! I have decided to start up a BrickLink store. I don't have a huge amount of parts to sell but I want to do this most for fun, and to get some money from parts I never use anyway. I have done some research and am just about ready to start up the store but there are some decisions I would like som help with. I have a lot of parts I would like to sell that have stickers applied, some wall parts from 7946 King's Castle for example. Is it better to keep the stickers applied or not, are pieces with stickers more attractive? I would also like to know if it's better to sell minifigures as figures or just part them out in the rest of the inventory? Thank you in advance Hallbricks

All important things have already been said. Having good lighting is always very important, many times upgrading the lighting gives better results than upgrading your camera. With good lighting, a clean background, and preferably a tripod you can get extraordinary results without any editing at all.

Stealing a video from another YouTube channel is of course unacceptable. Something similar actually happened to me today, someone sold instructions for my Bus MOC on eBay for 20€. The listing was removed immediately after I contacted the seller, but the listing page said that one copy was already sold.

This is great! I think this contest is a perfect opportunity for non vehicle MOCs, and I have just come up with such an idea myself. It's great to finally see a non-vehicle entry, I'm really looking forward to see how this will turn out. I think it's the best model for the contest so far. Good Luck! -
Hi and welcome to EB! I'm happy to see another Swedish builder, they seem to be rare Very interesting model! I would really like to see that built with physical bricks. I agree LDD isn't that good when building technic. SR3D used to be a good option for trying the functionality, but unfortunately it isn't developed anymore

42042 and 42008 are great options as mentioned above. I would also recommend the 42043 because of the complexity and the interesting techniques used in that model. It is a bit pricy though.

I think they are used for connecting the wheel hubs because there is less play in such a connection. If the frictionless pins would have been used the wheel hubs would be able to move a little bit more. Because of the play in the wheel hubs themselves the tires can sometimes rub against the chassis, and that problem would most likely be increased if the frictionless pins would have been used. The axle pins basically allows for a more rigid connection. In steps 9, 31 and 36 the axle pins are used because that makes the 9L beam much easier to connect in step 78 on page 47. It would be significantly more difficult to connect it if only regular pins were used.

I tried the new CLAAS tires on the 41999 today and it looks awesome! Sorry if it's a bit off-topic since it's not about the 9398 but I wanted to share these pictures: -
Thank you! I spent quite a lot time on the filming and editing so I'm really happy you enjoyed it!

Haha thank you! I'm just wondering if I did anything wrong when embedding the video, it just looks like a black rectangular box to me. There is no way to start the video nor finding the link. The command looks just right though.

I have made a demo video for this model as well. Check it out if you are interested. The B-model is demonstrated as well

I think it's weird if they have allowed it to do that, just a small redesign would fix it. It seem to be a problem not everybody has though, maybe the play in the wheel hubs varies slightly.

I have now finished building this awesome set. I think I agree with Jim, this might be the best technic model I have ever built. When building the BWE a couple of days ago I thought that was one of my most interesting builds so far. Now when I have built this too I must say this was even more interesting and fun, and the final model looks and works so much better than the BWE does. At least on my model, the variation of the lime color is almost unnoticeable, it doesn't bother me at all. I noticed that the front wheels rub against the chassis when making a full turn and driving in reverse, as Emmi mentioned earlier. This is a bit annoying and seem to be due to the play in the wheel hubs which makes the wheels tilt slightly and makes the tires touch the chassi. Neither Jim nor Sariel mentioned this in their reviews so I wonder if it's slightly more play in my wheel hubs or if I have made any mistake when assembling the model. Do anyone else notice the same problem? Thats the only bad thing I can find in this model. I probably think it's the best technic model ever produced bu TLG, it's a great mix between functions and design.

Thank you! Video of the B-model will be made as well. I will do the Xerion first though. -

I have just finished this massive build, which is my favorite so far. I think It's better than the Arocs för example. I really made sure to not make any tight connections near the moving parts, and still i didn't work very well. I have now disassembled some parts three times to loosen different axles and such. Now it works about as good as in the designer video, and it's able to scoop some bricks. So if you are going to build this one, make sure to check very often if the gears can rotate smoothly. -
I doesn't have to look professional all the time Unfortunately I would need to make a LOT of boxes to store them in that way. I also think of making something myself instead of buying. I would most likely have a system where I organize both by length/shape and color. Does anyone else have it sorted that way?
-
Hi everyone! I feel like a really have to find a good way to organize my technic beams and panels. My collection is quite big and I have almost all technic parts sorted in similar plastic drawer cabinets as I can see many builders have. Most parts are sorted by part type, but many parts are sorted by both part type and color. Beams and panels are the only parts I haven't really organized so far. They are just placed in plastic boxes and are completely mixed. At first a though of buying some drawer cabinets with larger boxes, but it would easily be filled up after buying some large sets. Tomorrow I will receive the BWE and when that is going to be parted out the collection of beams will grow quite a lot. I would really appreciate some tips on sorting these kinds of parts. I want them to be easily accessible because a build a lot of own creations, and I want the parts to be very easy to find. Thank you in advance /HallBricks

I don't think the prototype crane is much more difficult to control. Especially not when using the recent gearboxes with one switch per function. You would need three switches, two for the linear actuators, and one for crane rotation. Each function could be engaged and reversed by one of the switches. Not very difficult. The manual controls on the crane arm itself aren't that complicated either. I really think the prototype crane both looks and works better than the final one. I think the only reason for changing it was that using parts that could easily be used for the B-model. For example, the new gear rack pieces from the Arocs, that were used for the prototype crane couldn't be used for the B-model.
