AoM Gatehouse phase 1 : Stroggilofanaro Gatehouse
Isundir replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wonderful Gatehouse, loving the sideways wall technique, don't think I've seen it done like that before. -
Nice vignette, I didn't even know that brick moose was a thing until now, I really like that axe and shield on back combo. My suggestion would be to add a few more stones to the road, although that might not have been an option.

Thanks, I can't find it could you maybe link it? I'm definitely willing to try things but I can't afford to purchase anything if that's involved.

Some I've seen before, some are very inspirational and some are very intimidating

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Isundir replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks everybody, I'd like to claim Edelwald: and posted Task 1: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=134374 edit* Can I start of with a Hamlet, move on to task 5 and later build out to something bigger? Also I really like doing them but I was curious do the tasks have any extra 'thing' to them or are they just there for fun? -
Edelwald Troops - Avalonia, Task 1; Edelwald Yeomen: An Avalonian commando unit, the Yeomen are a unique combination of veteran Militia and Rangers. Yeomen are trained with Javelins, Swords and Daggers. In wartime the Yeomen are used for such missions as infiltrating an enemy encampment or fortrification and opening the gates for the main forces, stealing plans or eliminating an enemy commander. In peacetime the Yeomen train in their hideout sources say is located somewere in Edelwald and occasionally hunt down a group of troublesome bandits or such. Although not confirmed the Yeomen are led by Edelwald's Lord, Reinhard Sternvale. (Loosly based of the Yeomen unit from the Fantasy Wars videogame.) Edelwald Militia (Pikemen): Edelwald Militia (Longbowmen): Edelwald Knights (Heavy Cavalry): Group shot: I hope you like the troops I created for my land, Edelwald, I don't have massive amounts of minifigs like some people (I like to collect up to 4 of any given minifig, due to budget constraints I can't really get more then that) but I hope this is enough.

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Isundir replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
Greetings, I would like to join The Flight Of Dragons Lord Reinhard Sternvale, more information will follow, for now though as I start working on my tasks (unless there is something else I should be doing?). How/were do I get a piece of land? -
Thanks man, changed pics though the white background really annoyed me and I discovered we had some grey. Works a lot better this way I think.

Thanks everybody While I'm not a fan of the line itself they have a lot of parts and figs with a lot of potential. Well I checked and where I live a box of 5 Grey Knights costs 35 Euro's, this cost maybe 20/25 Euro's if I go by all the lowest prices. That's not considering you need paints, tools and so on for the models and bricks are always re-usable for other projects. I'm only sad I didn't manage to make them double barreled (yet), I tried using Binoculars to get the desired effect but I couldn't really integrate them (yet).

"We are the warriors of the Grey Knights, armoured in faith, shielded by devotion and armed with purity of purpose. But greater even than these, we carry the light of the divine Emperor of Man into the dark places to purge the Daemonic wherever it may be found." — Brother-Captain Arvann Stern

I don't know I assume it'll be announced once this one (Water) ends on the 31st.

Thanks, it's just a random water monster, I was going to type out a backstory about hunting down an unknown sighted monster but I'm short on time. I was going to use one of the Swamp Monsters which without the headpiece looks perfect as a Drowner but I didn't like it.

Transfer my 40 Creds to EpsilonEta please.

Made for the Elemental Contest: Water category, a diorama depicting a Witcher hunting down a water monster, I intend to make one of these scenes for each different elemental category with different monsters. Proper story may be added sometime later. If you are interested in joining the contest, check out the details over here.

Cleansing Monks of the Avenging Flame
Isundir replied to nine09nueve's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Loving your work sir, keep it up, maybe brick build some kind of mount for them though I should probably post my heavily Warhammer based Lizardmen faction around here soon. Although I'm the type who wants to make a base with some terrain for my figs first and I haven't had time to cook something up for my Lizards yet. Edit* the only change I'd make to them is remove the trans-fire emblem piece on the chest armor, I think the flame patterns on the robes and armor are obvious enough and it'd make them look better (purely IMO).- 15 replies
