  1. The foliage is nicely done! I like the fact that there's a colour transition in the road, also the integration of that slimey stuff between the stones is a nice touch!
  2. Dang! Another sweet build!
  3. Maybe you could mix a bit of the darker shade of brown with the normal brown, to represent wetter soil.
  4. Thank you! That was exactly what I was thinking, though I wasn't sure about the architecture.
  5. I would like to join GoH, but I don't know what guild to choose. I'm not a type for Avalonia, I've figured that out. I like to build a kind of Japanese/Chinese architecture and preferably in a mild to cold climate. My character will be a mage, practicing partly darker forms of magic. Yes, I do make things complicated . So well... Any suggestions?
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks! I look forward to seeing some of your MOCs
  7. In the end, the ninja reach their ultimate full potential: they turn into entities of their respective elements. Lloyd uses all of his elemental powers to forge (part of) the entities into a new set of Golden Weapons, that will guide a new generation of ninja. As a result, Lloyd only has his Spinjitsu and 'golden power' (similar to Wu's) left. As the new Sensei, he hides them all over Ninjago. The ninja dissimilated into entities, which causes their former entity dragons to assimilate into new guardian dragons. The circle is round. The balance between good and evil; ancient and new; the physical world and the entity world remains... EDIT: This would also explain why the guardian dragons left: as the ninja grew stronger, they grew weaker, eventually only able to exist in their entity (summoned) form.
  8. Wow, really original! Such nice SNOT techniques!
  9. :O So lovely...! Stunning photography too!
  10. That's the spirit! Welcome to Masterbuilder paradise!
  11. That is a nice outpost, especially given that it was mostly built from leftovers Btw, is there a war coming? 10 guards for an outpost is quite a lot!
  12. What a great architecture , combined with a great colour scheme and brought to life with some nice scenery
  13. Welcome back out of your so called Dark Ages! I love to read the stories of how people got back into Lego. Older movie/series themes include Ghost Busters, Indiana Jones and the upcoming Doctor Who. Have fun here on Eurobricks
  14. I really like the modification you did on the middle one, but I think that it does look quite good in the set as well. The 'dragon' included in the Ronin REX set looks, erm.., ridiculous. It definitely needs legs and better wings (or a smaller head), so pretty good job on that one . I feel like the designers did a fairly good job on the dragons on this wave overall, given that most of them are just sidekick builds. Most of them don't really need legs with articulation in my opinion. Personally, two simple clips representing claws would be sufficient.
  15. ^ Thanks, good point! I'll put a reference pic in my post
  16. Great little builds , also nice scene going on! I'm a conformist!!
  17. Haha, I like the thought of that! And since one action theme (Chima) has come to an end... Of course this is speculation. I can see that piece being used in the Ninjago D2C in New Dark Red, that would be lovely! It is a great piece, let's hope Lego uses it for even greater purposes
  18. Great effect, but the road itself has just great colours and texturing!
  19. I can see it now . That. Is. AMAZING!
  20. Man, I hope we get (leaked) official images of the D2C set soon, because people in this topic are loosing their focus . A few guys are discussing the hair colour and bloodline of Jay and Ronin, the others are complaining about Bricks & Pieces, while there are seperate topics for that. Sorry for the rant guys , but it would be a shame if the 100th page of this topic were to be filled with off-topic posts
  21. Great build! I am a big fan of the Japanese architecture, those huts are great! The way you portrayed the lifestyle of the villagers is nice and the waterline is just excellent Maybe you could do a little bit of texturing/SNOTting on the grass, or make a path of planks between the huts, it looks a bit plain IMO. Other than that: excellent creation, brick on!
  22. Hi all, Here is a Fullmetal Alchemist MOC . I got the inspiration for it because of a single printed tile: http://brickset.com/parts/6103044 (from the Ender Dragon set). For some reason, it immediately reminded me of Alphonse Elric, so I didn't hesitate and bought two . I decided to build the head semi-3D, so that I could do simple lines and his key features. Now then, some pictures: Looking at something else How that works: EDIT: A reference picture for those who are not familiar with the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome
  23. Welcome gpricey! Enjoy your time here
  24. Great build review! I'm not sure if this really belongs in the Action and Adventure themes forum though.
