You mean like it shouldn't be on Eurobricks? I don't know what other place to talk about that kind of stuff...

So, it doesn't matter what you post as long as it meets the requirements of size and isn't Lego confidential, correct?

REVIEW: 70009 Worriz' Combat Lair
gamejutzu replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Heh.. Get wrecked "heroes" I took one look at the thumbnail and I knew they'd lose with what they had Proof wolves were always the best! My avatar makes it look like i'm tweeting this or something, so it's even funnier. Yeah, there was something about the first two waves that made them so different from the rest. For me, I thought it was the mood that the sets created. Which could be why I was so disappointed that the show didn't make me feel the same way, but still made me want the sets.- 5 replies

What exactly are you allowed to upload? Is it allowed to have someone holding a gun (like a sub machine gun) but just holding it and not firing it? Is it ok if said picture was a drawing and not a real photo? And I am assuming that this image must be related to Lego, unless it's in the off topic section. And, what would make a photo not okay to upload in general?
-
What I mean, actually, is both. What character is better than another in a certain aspect, like thievery (Ronin vs Razar), or Hand to hand combat (Chase McCain vs Caila Phoenix).
-
What I was really hoping for is a show on Cartoon Network. But then i'm worried it might turn out like Chima did, another fantasy-themed franchise. If you pick up the same vibe that this show isn't for you when watching this show like: They've got crazy weapons but no actual fights The minions are goofy That clown bad guy making a terrible villan. If they do the show right, it can have awesome visuals like Chima had, and a plot more serious than Ninjago (I don't think that's happening, but hey, can I dream?).The Jester bad guy can be leader of a faction of terrifying clown things (like Ninjago's skeletons (Krazi cameo)) as well as having very decent skills with that staff and pulls combat tricks like trip kicks and staying juust out out of reach when he wants. He can also escape whenever he wants in a cool fashion. Buuut, since there is a castle on wheels... I dunno...

For example "thief contest: Razar vs Ronin", or "Chase McCain vs Caila Phoenix" If these kinds of topics are allowed, where do you put them? Action and Adventure? (Sorry if this was already done, it's just that I haven't seen things like these at all here. I get that this is a place for Lego fans to share their creations, and this may turn to chaos if done wrong, so sorry if it's like that.)

Speaking of Ninjago video games, Lego dimensions screws up the same way Shadow of Ronin did, by using other actors instead of the most known ones from the show. What's the deal? How can they get the voice of GLADOS, Dr. Who and the several more, but not the ones from the show? The weird thing is, the songs in the game has the same actor singing it, and they got another one to do the voice of the character. Are they under contract or something? I've only heard people complaining about it, not discussing it, so I haven't seen it anywhere. If you know why, don't leave me in the dark

Honest Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu review
gamejutzu replied to gamejutzu's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Even if this post is a year old, still free to write about the show here. Like I said, this is a little reference thing for anyone that wants to check it out. -
The only sites that reviewed Ninjago's TV show have either judged it by the fact that it's based off Lego sets (instead of treating it like a show), or only saw the first season, or both. No sites updated their reviews since their first one. But now there's six current seasons, and still nothing. I think they waved this show off. Granted, Ninjago has several flaws I notice each episode. But that doesn't mean they had to treat it so harshly. So how about we write an actual review of the show for anyone wanting to watch it? Everyone who posts here will write their own review for the show comparing pros and cons, and give it a star or number rating. Sounds good?

NO! Please! I can't take it anymore! I have to know NOW ! The building looks fine, perfect i'd say. But HOW do you get all those pieces? (ex. the water, all the gray pieces as well.) Do you order in bulk or something?! If so, can someone tell me where I can find a good site to do it? Because this is all I need to make something like this. (again, props to you sir, on the awesome creation.)

You guys are probably getting annoyed of this by now, but... Ben 10 in Lego Dimensions? (sorry)

Another question regarding the next season... Will Sensei actually encounter the husky in the Master Wu dragon set? It looks like it's in Sensei's colors as well, And I think it would be an awesome addition.- 4,591 replies

Your time to read this post I had my eye on the harbor pursuit set ever since i first heard of it around January. When it released I couldn't find it for a very long time, and now I finally have Deathstroke!

[MOC] Sleeping Beauty Castle and Cinderella's Carriage
gamejutzu replied to Stephle59's topic in LEGO Licensed
Usually, Id hate stuff like this, but there's really no excuse here. Looking at it for what it is, a castle, it's the best i've ever seen. Or at least the one with the most work put into it. Good job! -
Petition for Ben 10 in Lego dimensions! Nah, whatever. But, c'mon! At least Ben himself! I'm pretty sure they could at least make a minifig...

Thank you for replying! You make a very good point. But the thing is, we don't have game mechanics that are reflective of the show. I always felt that spinjitzu shouldn't be done with a meter, more like anytime, but with the player is given an actual reason not to spam it, like some enemies are immune, or you won't get xp to get upgrades necessary to progress. The tornado of creation should only be done in certain situations, or else... Seriously? Every vehicle used in the games, are an on-rails simulator. And it might be because since the games are made for handheld, so that's forgiven. But once the platform availability expands, you should be able to either get one, or create one anytime you are in an open space. Mechs should be used like the Batmobile from Arkham Knight, used to solve puzzles you can't. The character's powers weren't done correctly in the last game. All you could do is shot a beam. And Cole could carry rocks. The designing team should be more creative next time. Or use a different team. What I mean is, maybe metal could conduct Jay's lightning, or Cole can use some sort of underground detection thing to find hidden things. And you are correct, they should use mechanics that aren't from the show. How cool would it be to buy in-game cards, and select a powerful one from your deck at the bottom of the screen, and cause some major damage. I'm not trying to burn you, or anyone, much less make everyone agree with me. But It would be cool if you did. But I personally think that the Ninjago series has a lot of work ahead of it if wants to be separable from the generic Lego game, and earn a review score of more than 7.

Getting my finger out of my ear...

Augh! my eyes! Why did you show me that?! I thought we were friends! Seriously though, if Lego is seriously planning on making a minifigure of that, i'd rather there not be sets at all. For those that did not click, do it at your own risk. With that out of the way, if Lego would be willing to go back and make the originals, You would be right on how Lego would make figures of certain aliens. If the only solution is to make an exclusive body (like for Xlr8 and Wildmutt), I think that the simple solution is to not make these aliens minifigure scale at all. Only make ones that have an appearance of a humanoid, like Fourarms, Swampfire, Big chill, Echo Echo, and Humougasaur. Yeah, I kinda do have to face the music now huh... This will probably never happen... But it isn't too late to put him in Lego Dimensions, where the appearance of the alien will not matter.

Can anyone make the props from Lego marvel superheroes?
gamejutzu replied to gamejutzu's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Thanks! I would be so happy, even if I got to see just one. And whatever you decide to build, i'm sure it will be awesome. -
Okay then, fine. Another question, though. If Lego read my post, and made some sets, would they work? Like would they actually look good, or look like freaks? Y'know, they could at least put him in Lego Dimensions, where size wouldn't matter, and select aliens with a selection wheel... Sigh..

Great job! Those look so accurate and on point, I can only say... Nuff said. The control panel actually seems the easiest to make. You need to build it, piece by piece several times in the game. I hope everyone at Brickcon likes them.. And maybe take a picture? There is no way I can build the electric outlet with the pieces I have now. But I think I can manage the rest, it just won't be in correct color. I Would really like to see if anyone can make real life replicas with a minifigure standing by it (to represent size). It doesn't need to be the correct colors, I just want to see how it would compare to the ones in the game. -
This is amazing! I can't find a single thing off, or wrong with it. But I have to ask, if you flip the entire model so it's upside down, is it hollow? Also, where do you get so many of a certain piece? Do you buy them in bulk or something? (I would make something like this, unfortunately, I don't have some specific pieces.)

Even when they made the buildable figures, I was always saying, "well that's nice, you guys can make the sets now (and they never came)." You are right. We do need to look at the minifigure anatomy, and how TLG chooses to size their minifigures. examples: 1.) It's pretty obvious what the standard is for big figures, so I really don't think we need to cover that. 2.) Figures that can pass with short legs include Spongebob and most hobbits. And now we need to compare them to larger characters in their real sources. The hobbits, in the films around the size of a grown man's elbow. Spongebob is around the size of Patrick's eyes. Now, minifigure hobbits are about the size of almost below a full minifigure's eyes as well. Yoda as well. So I think Echo Echo will work with short legs, since he is even shorter than arm length in the show. 3.) Four-armed minifigures, such as Garmadon, are considerably taller than two-armed minifigures. This will work in Four-arms case. But in order to avoid the arms looking like two plain arms stuck together, the top set of arms include a special mold to go down all the way to the second set of arms. This mold can also show off Four-arms physique by adding a few bumps and such. And in my mind I can see this working, since it can't really be worse than the Dogpound figure. 4.) The only real design problem is the actual minifigure scale figures. But I have a solution; Only make figures that can match a minifigure scale. Unfourtunately, there are very few aliens that can meet a minifigure scale, like Swampfire, who is taller than a regular minifig. But this problem can be somewhat dealt with by making a normal plain head, than over it, a special mold. And if nesessary, a buildable piece on the back, this will not only make the figure more accurate, but also taller than a minifig. 5.) The actual main protagonists are a piece of toast. Ben can have some special molded hair (Alien force), Gwen has a red long ponytail, and Kevin is shiny. Or wooden. Did it work? Did I persuade you a bit?

Loki and Mr.Fantastic are the only two playable characters that are able to use the blue grates. And Sandman. If you or anyone else builds anything, I would like to know, maybe send a picture or something. It's just that when i saw things like the claw switch, and where clawed characters actually put their hands in, I was really mind blown.
