    May the fourth offers at LEGO S@H have gone live Australia and I can confirm there is no Y-wing blueprint or special black card offers. Only BB-8, 2x VIP points and 10% off selected ‘starships’ ie. the stock they are having trouble moving. Offers may vary by region I guess.

    The feet on the opposing side of my UCS Snowspeeder literally comes off the ground when I have it displayed off axis. It’s not a build error as I checked it several times. It’s a known issue as the angle is too acute...it cover the display plaque too. I hope the Y-wing is not the same. I never had the same issue with the previous UCS Snowspeeder, also displayed on a roll axis.

    The Y-wing designer video is cool. And I love that the designer literally wears his fandom on his ‘sleeve’. My only concern with Y-Wing is that it looks very unstable on the angled stand. If it’s anything like the most recent UCS Snowspeeder...mine is listing under it’s own weight.

    It looks amazing Jerac...like the rest of your Tie collection. The attention to detail is second to none, particularly the sides of the cockpit and the sloped rear. I can’t wait to start building it.

    A poster. A frickin poster. At least make it a t-shirt that says “I purchased 75192 and all I got was this crappy t-shirt”. What do they think the age demographic is of people who purchased the UCS Falcon? And if you can get it by spending $30 anyway what is the point? The free shipping threshold in my part of the world is $200. You wouldn’t put in an order in for less than that as the min. shipping charge is ~$40!

    I wrote a similar post on the previous page with their response. There could be an 11th hour sweetener but I wouldn’t be holding our collective breath.

    Yeah, rubbish ‘value’, especially for the Han Solo one. But I guess they are relatively expensive to produce with large complex pieces and printing. I’m not surprised the line is ending early after seeing them clog up retail shelves the past few years. But, I would love a collection of just the head/helmet molds (excluding the human face variants)...the Maul one looks incredible.

    The fact that LEGO still can’t keep up with demand should be an indicator that it will be around for quite some time...probably many years but that’s just my opinion. No one on here knows for sure but ‘out of stock’ is the norm for this set, so I wouldn’t stress.

    Is it the image that is watermarked with “Wholesale_minifigures”? Do we know which set this is suppose to be in? I don’t recall seeing it in the Great Hall. Whomping Willow? Or CMF? If the later, it’s pretty rubbish.

    I contacted LEGO customer service to try and suss our if they planned to have a special May the fourth promotion for Black VIP card holders. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to give anything away and this is the response I got. Take from it what you will... “Thanks for getting in touch with us. You must be a huge LEGO® fan! I'm sorry to hear you are less than satisfied with the promotions our VIP team has come up with thus far. I can assure you there are many more treats in store although we aren't able to release any information about them just yet. It takes a lot of time to make sure they are absolutely perfect before we surprise our fans so we normally only release information about upcoming promotions (and especially the special Star Wars™ promotions) closer to when they are set to begin. Feel free to check back with us in the coming weeks for an update! Be sure to keep an eye on our Shop website as well as our social media pages for the most up to date product and promotional item announcements.     The ‘May the fourth’ promotion has leaked. It looks like the BB-8 polybag is available on May 4th only, which is kinda a dick move as it will make it stupidly exclusive! UCS MF and Y-wing are excluded from the 2x VIP points promotion. Star Wars sets they can’t sell that go for 50% off in reseller stores (ie. Kylo’s Tie Fighter) are a ‘generous’ 20% off. And no word of any black VIP card bonuses. Is it just me or does this sound like a scummy deal?

    So now that the UCS Y-wing has been announced as a May 4th release can we expect a special promotion for Black VIP card holders? Surely, this would be the most appropriate time to have one. I’ve heard there will be no early release for VIPs. Does this mean they have reserved early release for black card holders? That would be a pretty dud deal, if so, given early release was common to all VIPs in the past. Is the buildable BB-8 limited to black card holders? I doubt it. I suspect that if there is a black VIP promotion it might be a lame extra polybag like DJ and/or double VIP points. Let’s hope we find out soon!

    Frustrating that the UCS Y-wing has stickers, including the dreaded canopy stickers, but the free promo BB-8 is all nice printed elements

    I agree. It looks great! Assuming it’s available for May 4th I hope the promotion for it is equally impressive (i.e. not the DJ polybag).

    Nothing. It was always rumoured to be the second 2018 UCS release.

    MandR also got reviews up of the new Solo sets very early. It’s curious that they went after Jang last time for TLJ sets...maybe it’s because he refuses to bend the knee and accept ‘gifted’ sets for review. I like the legal disclaimer though. Funnily enough he’s one of the best ambassadors for the brand.

    I think at this point in time they are both sound assumptions. I can’t look at official LEGO TIE’s now without comparing them to Jerac’s incredible TIE MOC collection. I plan to build them instead.

    It would be ironic and very sad if the TLG didn’t release a UCS SW set for May 4th for that reason. The one date in 2018 that I’ve been hopeful the black VIP is actually worth the plastic they used to print it is May 4th!

    Grindelwald looks like Admiral Yularen shaved off his moustache and went to the Wizarding World themed Death Star ball dressed as Grindelwald.

    I’m going to miss Rebels. Filoni’s vision for this scene was incredible and has pushed the boundary for future storytelllng in universe. I’d have loved to see a fully fleshed out Twilight of the Apprentice playset, or at the very least a small one that included battle damaged helmet Vader/Anakin and Ahsoka.
