CC would have a stand for display, and removed from the stand for play. The X-wing is arguably the most iconic SW ship. It will always sell well. It's in a good price range for everyone to purchase it. It's a generic ship that people might buy more than one of to create a rebel fleet. All in all, it's good business sense to keep this ship on the shelves to rake in money.

I was kinda hoping they'd go for a generic pilot and droid. The pairing of Jake Lloyd and R2-D2 was one of the worst moments in SW history IMO. "Lets try spinning, that's a neat trick!"

Congrats on the newborn!

Seeing as it will likely be the last Cloud City we'll ever see, I'd prefer them to go all out and hit 400 bucks. Same basic design as the Death Star; keep the shape of the city with scenes inside.

A cartoon comedy show? With the OT characters?

Well, except for the UCS set it seems I got one set on my original list of wanted sets, Echo Base. This is a set I had crossed out because everyone said it was too unlikely...I guess this proves anything is possible! Ewok Attack is at least different than the previous set, I didn't bother to list any of the other Ewok devices because I thought them too unlikely. The Falcon is a needed set but still just a remake. In conclusion, I'm able to cross off only Echo Base from the list, and there are still many sets that need to be made or remade. Hopefully a good UCS will take care of one of these scenes!

I'll wrap this up as neat and tidy as I can. If you like CW then that's awesome, you have a SW show to watch and enjoy. If you don't like CW then that's too bad, but be grateful that the events of CW are so unimportant to the main storyline that they don't even warrant a mention in ROTS. But, I think we can all agree on one thing. Without CW keeping Star Wars relevant, the Lego Star Wars license would likely have ended by now. Whether you like it or not, it is a GOOD thing CW is on air; you're either getting CW sets you like and/or occasionally getting some PT/OT sets that you normally wouldn't be getting without the continued license. As an OT collector it pains me that almost all the sets are CW but I'm not the target audience, kids are. Yes, LEGO's are, in fact, for kids! CW is a kid's show. They're going to make more sets for a show that is on the air and their target audience is currently watching, it's just smart business. They're going to make those figures more detailed because I bet studies show that kids want really detailed figures over a high piece count. They're not going to make a bunch of OT sets that have already been made in the past and attract a smaller audience than their CW sets. This is just the way things are going to be. Let's get the thread back on track.

While even a rehash of the '03 Cloud City would be great, if they do this they need to go all out. They need a Cloud City model similar to the Death Star playset. Given all the signs (recently new Slave 1 and carbonite mold, new MF, and the Death Star looking like it'll disappear soon, this is the perfect time to make it happen.

Very impressive. I agree with the AT-AT comment but it's a minor detail that probably doesn't need to be bothered with. Think I'm going to have to steal that tree design for my much, much smaller endor diorama.

I assume there will be a lot of ships in micro scale. About 8 minifigs and at least one new minifig to get everyone to purchase it.

I'd be shocked if we got injured Luke. The one set he really needed to be in has already come and gone. The Hoth base would likely be Battle of Hoth themed, wherein Luke is out fighting and not injured anymore.

What I always thought SHOULD have happened in Episode V.

How secure is the leg to foot connection? Seems like something that would break often.

Tie Defender has a lot of black parts as well. If you're not limiting yourself to Star Wars then I suggest going to the other forums to ask. Or just buy black parts off of bricklink or Legos pick-a-brick. -
I would prefer they omit both empire and rebel vehicles from the set so we can be guaranteed to get an accurate base and new minifigs. Unless that vehicle is something new, like a rebel transport.

Used complete means that all the pieces are there. You do want one with all the pieces, right? -

A used complete Sail Barge is over 200 bucks. If you can't afford the Death Star then I'd advise you to get Battle Of Endor. -

Then get the Death Star. The Sail Barge is marked up way too much and will likely be redone with Jabba's Palace for the Jedi anniversary. -

The minifigs for a UCS Cloud City would be even better. -
We're getting three OT sets, and that's not counting the UCS set which might be OT. Three OT sets is actually a good year considering CW is more relevant to kids (the target consumer) and most OT vehicles/scenes have been covered at some point in time. This is coming from someone who wishes all the sets would be OT.

I stand corrected. I'll just wait till it's done to make any comments on its accuracy.

I don't think the rear sides are angled, that is likely attributed to parallax. I am concerned that the height of the MOC is too tall compared to the length though based on where that large opening on the wall is in relation to where it is on the picture below it.

When do we normally have al the information for summer sets by? It seems a little weird that all the summer sets information has been released except for the N-1 and Echo Base. Does anyone know where Brickset is getting their information?
