[Instructions] Mortesv's CR-90 Corvette - Blockade Runner (Tantive IV)
Cjd223 replied to Cjd223's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The technic beams that make up the inner skeleton can be changed I believe. Panels are placed all over so you should have no issue by switching those colors. -Christian- 95 replies

ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
Cjd223 replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just a heads up that this MOC, along with Cavegod's AT-AT and mortesv's Nebulon-B have been listed by a user that goes by the name Ledako Design and has been selling manuals on German amazon and ebay. Please report the listings as it is stealing intellectual property of everyone involved with making these designs and manuals. https://www.amazon.de/Markenlos-CUSTOM-Bauanleitung-UCS-Nebulon/dp/B06Y1W6THT https://www.amazon.de/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_0?ie=UTF8&field-keywords=Ledkao&index=toys-de&search-type=ss -
Love this MOC. Definitely a huge step up from anything Lego has done (I think that goes for granted with your MOCs nowadays). Great detail as always and I think you can add me to the list of people who would love to see an instruction manual one day.

Trench Run MOCs to Display Minifig & Micro Scale Ships
Cjd223 replied to SquirrelArmy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks incredible so far. I agree with this though, definitely make sure to "hide" the grid structure when adding the details, yes despite the fact that the actual studio model was built using a grid system -
Those look great! It's a shame that TLG has never released something like this, at least in a long time. If only there was a way to make them light up wireless....

After some tweaks and revisions to the model, Cavegod's First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter is ready to be released to the public! The MOC itself contains 1,691 parts, and its manual is 91 pages long. The MOC is built to match the scale of the UCS Tie Fighter released by The Lego Group in 2015. One of the big changes is that the wing color has been switched from white to Light Bluish Gray to better represent the true color of the wings. In some of the photos attached to this post you will see white wings, those photos are from the original model. It should be noted that this MOC can easily be converted into a standard First Order Tie Fighter by switching the red pieces to black. Lots of interest has been generated for this MOC, and Cavegod and I are really glad to make its release to the community! If you would like to build this MOC, we are happy to share it with you in exchange for $20. Included is the pdf instruction manual, an xml part list, LDD files, and any help you need throughout the process of making the MOC. For more information please PM me or contact me at chrdvorak@hotmail.com A rebrickable page with a parts list will be live soon, and will be posted here: {filler} Here are some pictures of the MOC and of the pdf manual:

Looks incredible! The modifications you put including lighting took this model to the next level. Always a pleasure to see another Sandcrawler completed! -Christian

Hi, I took a look at the manual and those "holes" will be covered up by black plates on the bottom of the greebled panel that is placed on the door on page 425. Hope that helps. -Christian

The updated parts list is available on rebrickable. If you have purchased the instructions and would like the "updated" copy (It's really just one additional step), I will send that upon request. -Christian

Great news! I have just finished adjusting the parts list for rare and hard to find parts, as well as having added four 1 x 9 technic beams to support the cockpit. These adjustments have been made in the manual as well. -Christian

You are spot on with substituting colors, it does not create any issues given the weathering on the vehicle itself. A list will be extremely helpful to see what changes can be made. -Christian

A video you say? Only time will tell -Christian

For the motor concern: I included the motors for the tracks and interior in the instructions based upon their difficulty to access once fully built.

There are quite a few photos in Cavegod's flickr gallery of the progress and build of this model here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/42956921@N08/albums/72157625950384473 As for more photos of the interior, we are planning on more coverage of the model to come in the future. I can say that the interior features a cockpit interior as well as a two-level interior behind the door. In total the interior of the model runs at about 2-3k pieces in my estimation -Christian

Finally, an official addition to your Collection is here! After years of requests and tweaks to the model, Cavegod's Sandcrawler is officially ready to be released to the public! The MOC itself contains 12,110 parts, and its manual is 645 pages long. The MOC is built to minifigure scale, and does a job in capturing the sheer size of the vehicle in a way that no Lego set ever has (Or likely will) ever done. Lots of interest has been generated for this MOC, and Cavegod and I are really glad to make its release to the community! Looking forward to seeing all of the improved collections and Tatooine MOCs. If you would like to build this MOC, we are happy to share it with you in exchange for $60. Included is the pdf instruction manual, an xml part list, LDD files, and any help you need throughout the process of making the MOC. For more information please PM me or contact me at chrdvorak@hotmail.com A rebrickable page with a parts list is available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-13289/cjd_223/cavegod-ucs-sandcrawler Here are some pictures of the MOC and of the pdf manual:

Finally. After years and years of waiting, I am happy to announce that in a collaboration with Cavegod, we will be delivering an instruction manual to the community some time in the coming months for his Sandcrawler. Lots of progress has already been made, and great efforts are being put in to ensure that the manual and design is the best that it can be. The manual is about 40-50% complete to-date, and the model totals over 10-11k pieces. Luck enough for me, I have been able to start working on my own model while developing the manual. However unfortunately for me, my roommates won the battle of storing and sorting over ten thousand Lego pieces in our room, so it looks like at least for the time being, I will not be able to complete my own recreation of the model, but be ensured that currently there are some others who will complete the model for its release. Here are some images of what I currently have completed, the base. This measures around 2,500 pieces, and already has a fully-complete instruction manual: Given that I will not be able to pursue the completed model for a long time, I am parting with what I currently have built. If you are interested in it, please PM me, it includes all pieces needed for the lower section (including motors), as well as the preliminary instruction manual for this section. It is truly exciting to be able to get this model released to the community, we know that a lot of people have been waiting a long time for this.

[MOC] [Instructions] Dmarkng's Hammerhead Corvette
Cjd223 replied to Cjd223's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It should not matter. For safety you could use the 12 axle as it will provide additional support in the engines but it is not a necessity.- 12 replies
