[OL -CH2A] Pride of Poseidon
blackdeathgr replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hey! Another great vessel joins Oleon navy! This is a real beauty and i really love her rigging! The technics axle connectors are really cut for making masts and i too intent to use them in the future (e.g. when my supplies grow). About the sails: did you use sewing machine for the "string" sail details or are they glued somehow? Also very nice is the stern decoration. And the crew...Oh, the proud Oleander crew, our nation's finest! Safe trips and may you capture many of our enemies ships!- 14 replies

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
blackdeathgr replied to Mr. Smee's topic in LEGO Pirates
If i were you, i would go for 2vs1 anytime. You see, i had the same dilemma a while ago when IFS was cheaper and costed about the same as QAR. I spent 4 months pondering at my choice and the money needed. I ended up getting IFS and am really happy about my choice (proper ship and all that). HOWEVER if i had the 2 vs 1 ship dilemma, i would have gone with the double option easily i might add.- 502 replies

Thanks for the explanation of this technique! It gives birth to a ton of nice building ideas! -
This is one really good looking tavern! And you can never go wrong with a tavern. I seriously dont know why you dont like it but i find it awesome ! Both the exterior and the interior is well built and the roof technique is my favourite of all. Corries are on fire these days... And what a beautiful fire it is! Proud Oleon approves!

The interior is really nice and i approve this moc due to it. And i also like the two muskets and wheel. But you are right on the roof thing. It is waaay bulky and somewhat ugly :-p, as totally opposed to what you usually build :-) -

This is just beautiful! Building keeps getting better and better here! The scenery is beautiful, the lavenders too, the tree, the plowed soil, the beekeeping mini scene... And most of all, cows!cows!cows! I wholeheartedly approve!

blackdeathgr replied to Puvel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is the first time these sails don't bother me in an Age of Sails universe. In fact your ship looks good as a Xebec-type vessel. I especially like the hull with an exception of the (stern?)castle that feels a bit too tall. Overall a nice creation with solid colors -

A fun build with an interesting story, especially when coupled by a historic event!
