  1. Both builds look great. The buildings are nicely done and I really like the stone wall in each scene. The field also looks pretty good with all those plant pieces. Good work.
  2. That's a nice house design, and all those flowers out front are pretty. I never would've thought to use the wedges like that on the roof, and it looks better than I would've guessed. Too bad there's not an interior with the open back.
  3. I'm not really into Star Wars but this is a neat build regardless. What is the big printed piece from? It's pretty cool and fits the build well.
  4. Regarding the roof, I think a flat tiled roof installed just like the plates, connected on the bottom with plates but with the tiles overhanging all the edges, would still give you a single thickness and eliminate the exposed studs. Just an idea.
  5. That's a good way to show repairs being done.
  6. I have seen that technique several times, and it is pretty cool, but yeah, however you go about it, you're going to use a lot of parts in a hurry! I've also seen plain tan bars, but man, it takes a gazillion of those to mimic cereal grains! Ok, now I have images of Weird Al Yankovic walking backward while reverse lip-synching stuck in my head...
  7. Just click on them repeatedly and eventually they'll explo- Oh wait, wrong game. Neat build. The sheep look great and this is one of those scenes that doesn't really need an explanation. Your soldiers look good as always. Of all the ways I've seen wheat represented in bricks, this just might be the best, although I think it would look more fitting for the time if the plants were more thickly placed (if you have that many parts!) and randomly scattered rather than planted in straight lines. The scarecrow is also a neat piece. Nice work.
  8. Hey, it makes a cool design at least! Nice collection of parts. Now encircle the whole thing with chrome gold coins.
  9. Now that is beautiful! So many great details to look at. Fantastic design and use of color. I love it.
  10. I really like this scale of micro-builds and this church turned out pretty good. I'm impressed that you managed to include stained glass with that much detail. The main roof seems kinda bland; otherwise I really like it.
  11. This may be small, but it's built and presented well, and it gets the point across. I love the color of the table and the posing of the far-left minifig, and that's a pretty good collection of maps. My only complaint is that the first pic doesn't utilize the space well; otherwise the photography is great.
  12. Nice schooner. The hull and raked masts are certainly eye-catching. The windows are neat too. Bregir gave some pretty good tips; to that I'd add a proper base of some sort or perhaps an edited background to one pic although it certainly isn't essential. Good work.
  13. Neat build. That roof is pretty creative and I always like builds with bacon and pork chops animals. The earthy tones are a pretty good representation of the real thing.
  14. I thought I had already commented on this... apparently not. That's another beautiful build. The base is artistic and the style of the buildings is excellent both in design and color. The fountain is the perfect centerpiece; I love the use of those bow bricks with tiled tops and the light blue base is very eye-catching and pretty. Edit: does anyone know what (glitch?) causes automatic double-posting and merging of a comment? It's like kinda annoying...
  15. You have been really churning out a lot of great builds lately. This is a beautiful composition. The base is artfully done, especially with the medium nougat path. Both the stream and little footbridge turned out well and the tree is a a beauty. The house is a really good design, especially the roof, and I'm impressed that you managed to make it look so big! Excellent work.
  16. Neat idea, and I like how it turned out, although having the water of the base underneath the full build would probably look better, if you have the parts, of course. This is Mesabi Landing... it's probably a shell corporation...
  17. That is beautiful and deceptively large. Those colors look really good and there are so many good details to study. Excellent work.
  18. Now that's a fort! The white and dark tan look really nice over the grey of the rocks and the sloped wall technique works really well. Good work.
  19. WOW. Just amazing. Fantastic work! That has to be an incredible display piece. Well said. There are a few unforgettable builds in each genre, and this is definitely one of them!
  20. Lots of good techniques and colors here. I especially like the dark green and bright yellow buildings. I enjoy just looking thru all the photos for new details. The flags/pennants are a little blocky for my taste but I appreciate what you were trying to do. And the title really needs a few more superlatives.
  21. Fun build. It has a certain classic feel with all those piratey minifigs and islanders and palm trees. The burnt quay looks the part and The Case of The Missing Case of Wine made me smile. But who is responsible for the destruction of the quay? You never told us.
  22. Neat build. I like the color gradient and the layered design, and the medium nougat path really stands out in the center. And that stone wall looks fabulous. My only gripe is that the building looks small, otherwise it's really nice. Apparently TLG feels otherwise... Go OBX!! Great place to visit!! (And eat)
  23. Ok, so it isn't just me. Everything else seems to work fine.
  24. Oh, no. Poor Bruno! (Especially "the end.") Great little story and accompanying builds. Those are some incredible hallucinations.
  25. Looks like a good start. It seems to me that there aren't really many "good" options for building waterwheels, which has resulted in lots of creative designs like this. I hadn't seen that one before. My only concern is that it looks too small for the rest of the build. Is it just me, or does the medium nougat for earth make the tans look old and tired?
