Just recently I was contemplating something like this, using that same piece for tricorn hats! I hadn't come up with a suitable torso part, but these certainly work. The legs look a little short, but otherwise it's pretty cool. And that horse is nice. Will you be using these in a micro build?

Excellent build as always and the heavy use of earth tones is really good. The soldiers look great and that ladder is really smooth for such a simple design. -
Beautiful galleon. It's a fantastic addition to the rest of the scene, which was a very nice build by itself.

That's quite a story. And those ostrich carts are clever. -

Neat build, and excellent job with the focus in the pictures. It gives the impression of a larger number of soldiers on both sides. -

Neat little scene. I really like the drooping tree in the foreground and you did a really good job posing the new-style rigid monkey. And your approach to saddles looks far more realistic than the actual saddle pieces, even if the latter are handy. Brickleton is in the front, right? Who is riding the other horse?- 11 replies

All that vegetation looks fantastic and foreboding. I like the build, but Sir Dee hates crocs and has no patience for fishing, and wishes these brave enterprising souls well in their endeavors.

Beautiful scene, excellent snowscape and good job with the different types of trees. The dark orange earth reminds me of the red clays in my area, and it looks great. Those minifigs are really good too, and I'm impressed with the sharp focus. And I agree with your take on the horse! -

Beautiful build and interesting story. Scenes like this work so well because you can capture the essence and some good details in a single photo. My only complaint is that the left side of the upper structure disappears into the background -- perhaps placing a tree there would help keep it visible. -
Looks great as usual. How many animals have you done by now, or have you even kept count?

Beautiful build and unique subject matter. I love it! Those minifigs fit this scene perfectly. And those plants are really cool. Something like this would make a really neat set.

Now THAT is impressive!! I'd like to see some folks collaborate and build the whole thing in this scale. Excellent work.

Excellent! Good job with the turkey, and the hats look better than I would've guessed. What's the headpiece that the lady is wearing?

Wow. That's just a beautiful build. There are so many cool techniques and the photography is excellent. Great job with all the minifigs. -

Cool interior. The heavy use of brown looks surprisingly good, especially the dark brown columns around the door. As for the story: The key to doing business with an Eslandolan flush with cash (yes, that's redundant) is to convince him that all his competitors, enemies, and frenemies are buying your product hand-over-fist, in which case he'll shell out the doubloons in an attempt to show the amateurs how it's really done.- 7 replies

Another excellent build from you. Great job incorporating so many uses of the goblet piece. The gold parts are a nice accent to the grey, especially around the perimeter. Where are the robes from? They look great. Ha. Funny. -

That is a really neat ballroom. Obviously the floor pattern is nice, and I really like all the other details like the window seats and the chandelier. And the gold elements. It's also a great idea for a build, and the smoky section being scrubbed looks convincing. The various workmen help to fill out the scene. I like it.- 11 replies

Excellent build yet again. The orange roofs look great with tan walls, and the wands in the railings are really neat. I have mixed feelings about the pillars being outside the base but it's a fine creation and a fine entry.

That is a beautiful reef! So many unique components and colors. It looks very realistic. Fantastic work.

I was just defining the use of "liberal" in this case, not offering any commentary. For some people this quickly becomes a political issue. I assume that "the statement" is a reference to the prior conversation? And yes, of course no one else from anywhere else is beholden to anything from the US. I wasn't suggesting that at all.
