  1. Sith Lord Lothar versus Sith Lord Dar'vole'e, DUEL I... Round 1 Lothar | 5 Dar'vole'e | 5 Force Push - 0 Force Push - 0 Parry - 0 High - 0 Force Lightning - 0 Force Lightning - 0 Sabre Flurry / High - 2 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Mid - 0 Health: 5 Health: 3 Finally these Sith Lords clash, fighting a battle for dominance! Both Lords are well versed in the Dark Side, using it's power against each other with initially no effect. But Lothar comes in from high with a flurry of his lightsabre, gravely wounding Dar'vole'e. This doesn't stop the Sith Lord however, as he prepares his next attack... Whenever you're ready, send you DS for round 2!
  2. Maybe I should just pay a bit more attention to the rules eh? I was only interested in keeping it fair for all in my own, misguided way and wouldn't want to take anything away from anyone's awesome entry!
  3. Looking over the entries some people have used multiple pictures into one composited image/file showing multiple views, play features, etc. Is it okay to do that? The rules would suggest to me that it's not (hence me not doing this myself on my entries so far). Can you clarify this for us Svelte? Cheers! EDIT: As an example I just quickly composited 3 of my pictures togther into one image to illustrate my point. Would this qualify as one picture? I wouldn't think so.
  4. I'd suggest that if anyone has formed any large alliances then they may very well have Nizam moles in their number. It appears the largest alliance so far consists of 9; 9 was the number of assailnats who killed Dragonator - rip-off merchant though he was, he didn't deserve such a gruesome death by carrot! If I were part of such a large alliance I'd now be curious as to how one of such size could be formed so quickly. Let us not forget the Nizam know each other; they could easily have brought others into their fold in the guise of helping the innocent, but instead directing their hand against them. Being open and remorseful can be a sure attempt to disguise ones true intentions. I emplore those present to look at these cabals they have formed and scrutinise those you have put your faith in. Now, how about music to fill the streets again and remind us of better times? Picks up lute and begins to strum...
  5. Brilliant narrative again Shadows. Loved the "hoplite's helm" description.
  6. Dhurban Indoor Bazaar This indoor bazaar in the city of Dhurban serves many vendors selling many kinds of wares, food-stuffs and entertainment! Below you can see a cross section of half the bazaar hall... where Gaspar sells all kinds of adevnturing equipment, from weapons to armour to maps; Abda sells all kinds of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables - though appears not only to be the victim of theft by the young street urchin Farzan, but by another kind of cheeky monkey entirely! And Pedram the minstrel seranades Leila... is coin the only thing on his mind? A rat scurries through the bazaar seeking a morsel fallen form the food stall... Dastan approaches from the outside no doubt smirking whenhe sees that cheeky monkey reaching for one of Abda's bananas! More pictures here, including close-ups of Dhurban Bazaar's residents.
  7. Sounds exquiste! I really hope to get a chance to savour your dish. Fortunately there's no potatoes in it - I've gone right off them recently.
  8. Cool, must've just missed that first bit. Thinking cap... ON!
  9. Really just waiting on filip skywalker to get that last duel started - poor csimian having to wait again. Meanwhile Esk and Walter can finish off their duel. Shouldn't be too long before we hit Stage III!
  10. Wow, another cool contest! Ace! I'd like to ask: can you include another generic minifig in the vignette? Say as a passer-by? Sounds like one-vig-fits-all to me, am I right?
  11. A-ha! Jedi Master DarkFang versus Jedi Master Squidsaber, DUEL II... winner through to STAGE III: DarkFang. Round 3 DarkFang | 3 Squidsaber | 3 Mid - 1 Sabre Flurry / High - 0 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 Force Push - 1 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Health: 2 Health: 1 The Jedi Masters' whirling melee continues: lightsabres and Force powers clash, well timed strikes hit home. But DarkFang surprises his opponenet with a powerful Force Push! Squidsaber's attempts to swing back the power balance fail and he realise this is a fight he cannot win. Retracting his lightsabre, he accepts defeat, honouring DarkFang as the victor! Conratualtions WhiteFang! Your champion is through to Stage III! Well played but unlcuky CallMePie - Squidsaber will live to fight another day!
  12. Nice, solid looking tank Rook. Reminds me somewhat of the Mammoth tank from Command & Conquer mixed with the single barreled Siege Tank from Starcraft. The play features are great: you got suspension in there which is very, very cool and who doesn't like a cannon that 'fires' light? Great work, cheers for sharing it with us. Best of luck in the contest!
  13. The streets are so much emptier this star-filled night and the shadows are everywhere... this stranger seemed to sing of the Nizam... Draws blanket around shoulders and begins to play a beautiful but haunting melody, contemplating the coming night.
  14. Hmmm, seems an uncanny coincidence to me that someone should die so horribly, crushed to death by potatoes just after you, Namyr Rauq, commented on the how potatoes can be fatal! Does this not strike anyone else as suspicious? Again I'm curious indeed that one who has been so reserved has managed to amass such protection? Alliances muct be made of course... Caution before you drink - I wouldn't put it pass Nizam to poison your wine. Or couldn't it just be that both killed him? He is very dead now afterall. This will make a fine ballad one day, of that I'm sure!
  15. Awaiting Duel Sequence: DUEL I | 1st round filip skywalker... csimian is waiting! DUEL I | 3rd round Eskallon... don't disappoint Walter!
  16. Many thanks for the review jansued! I absolutely adore the Aayla Secura minifig, lovely version of my favourite Jedi. Cad Bane is pretty rockin' too. But as mush as I love the figures, the tank is a major disappointment. I own the original CTT and this newer version is much the same if not worse. The wheels are more accurate and asides a few additional interesting parts that's where any improvement on the original ends. So what we're left with is a spindly, sub-standard remake with some awesome minifigs. What a pickle! unfortunately this seems to be the trend with many of 2010's releases and overall has left me feeling really disappointed in the LEGO Star Wars line. Hopefully things will get better. In the meantime I'll find some other way to source the minifigs and he wheels... I almost own this set already as it is.
  17. Haha! You've had the privelege of experiencing pre-emptive revenge! And this is a problem we all face: the Nizam know who each other are, and with organisation will always guard each other. While you remove those carcasses, hw about about a beautiful song about lovely Persian maidens... or something...? A wouldn't that be just so convienient? So helpful? If only life were so... strum, strum, strum...
  18. Someone else appreciated the setting as a whole's cheeky nod to said popular tele-show! It's great to see that the insanes are being rid of! Last Mafia games I've played it's almost been a landslide victory for the scum in their many, sausage-eating guises. Go sanes!
  19. Pedram sits by firelight under the star-fliied Persian sky. A cool breeze blows around the dancing flame as he attaches a new string to his lute and strums softly, tuning it to soft notes, and begins to play a sweet lullaby...
  20. Well played indeed and really entertaining to 'judicate! I think those undefended sabre flurries definately knocked the wind out of your endurance... but just thnk if you hadn't had it! And onto the next duels... - + + + - Jedi Master DarkFang versus Jedi Master Squidsaber, DUEL II... Round 2 DarkFang | 4 Squidsaber | 4 Low - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Parry - 0 Force Push - 0 Low - 0 Mid - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 1 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Health: 3 Health: 3 A deadly duel of attrition is under way as the rivals clash and deflect, scoring minor blows against one another. The pressure is building and now it's a matter of time before one of these powerful Jedi Masters gives out! Whenever you're ready, send your Duel Sequence for your round 3. - + + + - Jedi Master Eskallon versus Jedi Master Jedi Master Ber'gin'yon Torg'h... Round 2 Eskallon | 4 Ber'gin'yon Torg'h | 5 Force Push - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Parry - 0 Mid - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Force Shield - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Mid - 1 Sabre Flurry / High - 0 Health: 4 Health: 4 The Jedi show each other no quarter, unlesahing powerful attacks at each other. Their skills are such they deflect and outmaneuvre with masterful skill, but as Torg'h comes in from above with what would be a devastating assault, Eskallon evades him, swinging his lightsabre into his path and scoring a hit. The Masters are now on an even keel... Duel Sequence for round 3 whenever you're ready. - + + + - Awaiting Duel Sequence: DUEL I | 1st round filip skywalker... csimian is waiting!
  21. Jedi Master Jim Butcher versus Sith Lord Darth Magma, DUEL II... winner through to STAGE III: Darth Magma. Round 3 Jim Butcher | 3 Darth Magma | 5 Sabre Throw - 1 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Force Push - 1 High - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Force Lightning - 1 Health: 1 Health: 4 Jim Butcher launches his lightsabre at the Sith Lord, cutting into his armour. Unfazed, Darth Magma pushes the Jedi Master back and forces him down with a powerful lash of Force lightning. Battered and beaten, Jim realises this is a fight he cannot win and, heavy hearted, makes his retreat. Disappointment at losing out on the kill quickly disperses as Darth Magma smugly basks in knowledge he is one step closer to what he believes... is his destiny! Congratulations General Magma, you have the first champion through to Stage III. Unlucky Jim, you've done well to get to this poin but there'll be other battles to win!
  22. Don't worry you can have a loan of mine... wait a minute, he was here a... OH NO! He's gone! Niiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaammmmm!!!

Regaining composure, Jim Butcher realises he's running out of time. With everyhting at stake he prepares himself to assail the Sith... Tense! Duel Sequence for round 3 whenever you're ready. - + + + - Jedi Master DarkFang versus Jedi Master Squidsaber, DUEL II... Powerful blows are blocked, Force attacks are evaded but Torg'h srikes through, weakening Eskallon and superhuman stamina down to ground... Duel Sequence for round 2 whenever you're ready! - + + + - Awaiting Duel Sequence from the following player: DUEL I | 1st round filip skywalker
  24. Strumma-strumma-strumma-strumma-strumma-strumma-strumma-STRUMM-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap, strumma-strumma-strumma-trumma-strumma-strumma-strumma-STRUMM-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap-clap-... etc. Oh yeah... death to Nizam!
  25. A thousand thank-you's for every one who voted for me! Thanks too to you Shadows for another ace little event. If you could bestow with the power of the camel tag, I would be most happy. Congratulations to the top placed trio, runners-up and a hearty well-done to everyone who entered. It's been great fun browsing through seeing the what cool/crazy/cute avatars you all have come up with.
