  1. Why, so curious... Was just looking at this again and was wondering what techniqiue you use to get the right combination of elements/colours; do you take the original file, lower the resolution in an art package (say Photoshop) to 32 x 32 then index the colour palette so it only uses the colours you define - in this case LEGO colours?
  2. Superb! I love seeing MOCs with this much technical functionality, great fun to watch in action. It's the sort of thing I'll send to non-AFoL friends to show them some of the most clever things people can do with LEGO.
  3. These are great, I lov that new torso and it lends itself so well to this. I think the only change I'd make is to retain black visors - I loved them on the Blacktron I minifgs.
  4. Superb work yet again svelte. And fantastic use of pieces there - especially love your use of the headlight brick - ingenious! I haven't even seen these sets set and already you've had the chance t stock up and get to work! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.
  5. I'll echo that. Can't wait to see the full MOCs AC.
  6. Great work! Nice, accurate, solid looking midi-models... and unlike minifig scale takes up a fraction of the space (now an issue in my household)! I'm intrigued to see what other creations you bring to the table.
  7. Not quite! You still have another duel - possibly 2 if you win - to go! Send in your DS for the next one.
  8. 3 Duel Sequences have been received and are awating response: Duel 1, 1st round Walter Kovacs DS received. Opponent Bounty Hunter, awaiting your DS. Duel 2, 2nd round. filip skywalker DS received. Opponent sok17, awaiting your DS. Duel 3, 1st round CallMePie DS received. Opponent TheMaster, awaiting your DS.
  9. Ah, this looks like an exciting new adventure! I fancy my chances fighting for survival on a remote desert island - sign me up please!
  10. Brilliant conclusion... except for the baddies (brief) win! Thanks for hosting and letting me take part in such a great game 'Scouts. Was great fun playing with everyone and fun keeping up with what was going on despite being taken out early on. Cheers!
  11. Apologies for the delay everyone, we've family visiting over Easter break... back to the action! + + + Jedi Master Squidsaber versus Jedi Padawan Trolius, duel II... winner: Squidsaber. 12. Sorry Walter, been away. Back now and will resolve DS's as sson as I can. Thanks for offering to adjudicate Jim.
  13. Force Push defeats Parry and only Parry. If the Jedi or Sith using the power has Combat Mastery (was Sabre Mastery), then Force Push will beat Kick also.
  14. ATTENTION DUELISTS! In an amendment to the tournament table, Lhi Kadhar has withdrawn from the tournament to be replaced by Ber'gin'yon Torg'h who will now duel Hawke Koor. Walter Kovacs and Bounty Hunter, you can PM me your Duel Sequences or find an Adjudicator for yourselves whenever you're ready to fight!
  15. It does when you have Sabre Mastery (now Combat Mastery), as Lothar does. Force Push = Parry + Kick Combat Mastery Kick beats non-CM opponent's Kick. It's worth keeping an eye on your opponent's abilities!
  16. Jedi Master Squidsaber versus Jedi Padawan Trolius, duel II... Round 1 Squidsaber (6) Trolius(5) Sabre Throw - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Mid - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Sabre Flurry / High - 2 Low - 0 Kick - 0 High - 1 Health: 5 Health: 3 Padawan Trolius has learned much, but Squidsaber's assault takes the young Jedi off-guard! Lothar inflicts heavy damage on the Acolyte, but Niffranda is also a powerful wielder of the Dark Side, returning a lethal volley of Force Lightning and putting the Sith on even footing. DS for round 2! + + + NOTE: I'm away over the next two days and won't be able to resolve any duels during this time. If anyone else wants to adjudicate during this time, feel free. 2 Duel Sequences have been received and are awating response: Duel 2, 1st round filip skywalker DS received. Opponent sok117, awaiting your DS.
  17. Yes, this is still Jedi Duel so those rules still apply.
  18. Ooh, that delicious Baba minifig in a beautiful array of pastel shades? Haha! Nice try lads...
  19. 2 Duel Sequences have been received and are awating response: 1st round csimian DS received. Opponent badboytje88, awaiting your DS. Duel 2, 1st round CallMePie DS received. Opponent The Master, awaiting your DS. filip skywalker DS received. Opponent sok117, awaiting your DS. ;>
  20. Hey, Got forwarded this fantastic today, made to the music of Fight Like Apes - Knucklehead. Made me laugh out loud and I thought I'd share it with everyone. Don't think it's been posted yet.Enjoy!
  21. If you can't find anyone to adjudicate in 'real-time' PM me when you find an opponent and I'll do it as quick as I can.
  22. RULE ALTERATION - Sabre Master I've decided to alter the Sabre Master to fully encompass the Force Push ability and make the ability's title more relevant. The previous rule read like this: • Sabre Master - Unparalleled with the lightsaber, attack counters cause 1 damage to opponent. Attacks affected are: High, Mid, Low, Kick, Sabre Throw, Force Lightning and Sabre Flurry. Passive. Note: Because of the defensive nature of Parry, Force Push, Force Shield and Force Choke (and the fact that this ability primarily affects attacks) these are not affected by Sabre Master. And will now read like this: • Combat Master - An expert in close combat, attack counters cause 1 damage to opponent. Attacks affected are: High, Mid, Low, Kick, Force Push, Sabre Throw, Force Lightning and Sabre Flurry. Passive. Note: Defensive abilities and actions: Parry, Force Shield and Force Choke, are not affected by Combat Master. This change is effective immediately. Spread the word.
  23. Sith Lord Dar'vole'e versus Jedi Knight Taran Crax, duel I... winner: Lord Dar'vol'e. Round 3 Dar'vole'e (5) Taran Crax (1) Mid - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 Force Push - 0 Force Push - 0 Force Lightning - 1 Low - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 1 High - 1 Low - 0 Health: 3 Health: 0 Taran Crax valiantly tried to ward off the Sith Lord, inflicting some damaging strikes against him. But Dar'vole'e has done too much damage to the Jedi Knight already, a final blast with deadly Force lightning sees his opponent defeated. Well done Filip! You've both potentially 2 more duels to settle your differences! + + + Jedi Master Eskallon versus Sith Acolyte Darth Wei-Gei, duel I... winner: Eskallon. Round 3 Eskallon (4) Darth Wei-Gei (2) High - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Force Push - 0 Low - 0 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 High - 0 Health: 4 Health: 1 The Sith Acolyte realises his dangerous predicament, shiftin to a defensive style as Eskallon bares down on him. A Force guided lighttsabre srike is enough to break Wei-Gei's resolve as he retreats from the Jedi Master... Well done Eskallon! You both have potentially 2 more duels to play! + + + ATTENTION DUELISTS! In an amendment to the tournament table, Sith Lord Lothar and Sith Acolyte Niffranda will now be dueling each other. csimian and badboytje88, you can PM me your Duel Sequences or find an Adjudicator for yourselves whenever you're ready to fight!
  24. Sure. But first, following the rules of the tournament, can you complete your character's profile by adding a photo of him please? Incidentally it may be a good idea for you both to prepare, just in case - maybe try and get a couple more games in to boost your rank.

    DTAP

Hmmm, yeah! Like some kind of air whale! Definately not intended, I'd kind of based the front on the STAP though much larger. I hadn't noticed the whale resemblance 'til you mentioned it. It's one of those happy accidents I guess! Thanks for the feedback.
