Dystopia - Confirmation and Discussion
pedro replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh no! Murdered already! And I was so young and beautiful too... And Drake! I never had the chance to show him that I truly felt the same way. Sure he was insane but it could've worked... Thanks for letting me take part guys, was great fun even if brief. Come to think of it hope this will be a short-lived occurence - getting offed near the start of the game! -
For the torso I reckon it's best to use the black suit. I got mine from the female horse rider in 6735. Captain Katanga! Nice work BaronSat, and easily replicated too. An alternative for those shying away from Clone Wars heads would be to use the older Mace Windu head or Seso's from the new Prince of Persia line - I'm sure it'd look great.
-
Oh Drake, you're so masterful! Is it logic? Or just assumption? As yet there's no explanation as to how either your aeroplane or our 'copter came down. Now I really think we need more to go on before anyone makes a terrible mistake. If anyone can pull any scraps of information together over the course of the night, then let's hear them out first. You noticed too?
-
Now hang on a second honey. Just coz' someone wants to speak up and set things right shouldn't make 'em a target. Drake is a good man. What we got here is a terrible situation but it ain't going to be made any better by attacking someone purely for havin' the guts to say their piece. You're right Seth, in that acting sane just about covers everyone here... well, except our cook who seems he might be on the verge of making sand burgers... but I don't think that's the kind of crazy we're after here. And I think that's the next best bit of reason I've heard in a while. We need to bthink carefully 'bout what we're doin' here and time so we can make the right decision. All the while let's keep our fingers crossed the rescue party is on their way.
-
Another contest? Why, you spoil us! And who wouldn't want a sexy new tag?
-
Ever so thoughtful of ya... but I'll stick with the fish in the sea! If anyone can, Drake can. Now just you hold your horses a minute there - no-one should be lynchin' no-one! First, you're assuming that one of us insane. Now in our line of work some might say we are, with all the situations we get ourselves in to rescue folks like yourselves; but let me tell you that's a damn far cry from murdering some poor hapless gal! Asides that as far as I make it she was dearly departed before we even got here. Second, you lynch one of us, find out we're sane as a Judge and straight as a die. D'you just try again? D'you just keep goin' til your all out of coast guards and nowhere nearing pinning the crazy who's holding out amongst you? :hmph: And third.. just who you callin' fella? I'm sorry, but that don't absolve you from nothin'. I understand your need for action but we need level heads to get through this... My pleasure as always, sweetie... I need to slip out of this life-preserver... I'll be over here if you need me. You said it Seth... it's ironic that we find ourselves in need of being rescued, not just from our crash but from the firing line. Let's hope tonight turns up some clues. Feel free... we got nothin' to hide. Thanks for your vote of confidence, sugar...

Thanks for sharing this with us CopMike. This looks like a great little set. The new minifigs are really cool - love the new helmet! - and I rather like the mini catapult too. I've got high hopes for this line, can't wait to see more!
-
As Drake said, we lost all our comms equipement in the crash, but if we hold tight another party should be on it's way. Let's just look out for each other and try make sure that maniac among us don't strike again! Why Seth, I'm glad a dip in the sea hasn't put a dampener on your bravado! But you're right, Drake has got this situation cornered. But I wouldn't say it's just brains you got Drake, but the whole package...

Many thanks for taking the time to present us this review Clone O'Patra. This looks like a stunning set and by most accounts people love it. I really like the look and feel that can be achieved with all these stylised bricks, new colours and mini-figs. As yet I've only ordered the 3 smallest sets but reckon I'll collect all five. Can't wait to get playing with them!
-
Great work as always AC! Oodles of detail and lots going on, your dioramas never disappoint. I really like your use of all those printed elements from the T-16 set and how you've built the observation deck with the 3 sided bay windows running across the top, very nice. The Where's Wally-esque Asajj Ventress is cool too!

Darn it! That did not go according to plan! It's almost as if this island was some crazy kinda geo-magnetic nexus, causing all the systems on our 'copter to go crazy and force us down... Well howdy y'all, I'm Patricia Rockford and it's a helluva shame we couldn't meet under better circumstances. Originally here as part of the rescue but as y' can see it looks like like we're all in this together now and already it seems that island life is too much for someone... Apart from the alarm lights turning the inside of our helicopter into a discotheque, 'fraid not sugar. Well at the very least we'll provide some of y'all with some entertainment then. Well that's real nice sir! At least find a rock to do your business behind behind... there's ladies present! Well it seems to me that we're out of the frying pan and into the fire whats been donme to that poor gal. Now I don't fancy endin' up like her and I'm sure none of y'all do either so we need to get our thinkin' caps on and start figuring out who could've done this - rescue will be on it's way and I don't want to have to spend any more nights than I have to sleepin' under the stars with a crazy amongst us.

S T A G E ~ I S U M M A R Y Many have risen to the challenge. Many have failed. Those who go on now face an even tougher challenge: dueling adversaries proven in battle, reknown for their combat skills and possessing an array of powerful abilities... Darth Magma - General Magma Jim Butcher - Jim Butcher Lothar - csimian Lord Dar'vole'e - Filip Skywalker Squidsaber - CallMePie DarkFang - WhiteFang Eskallon - Eskallon Ber'gin'yon Torg'h - Walter Kovacs Congratualtions to all those who have succeeded in dueling through to stage II. It's been great watching some epic duels and i hope you've all enjoyed taking part even if you didn't make it through. Stage II will begin next week with which I'll post a new thread. You'll have noticed by the tournament table that all stage I winners are already drawn against their opponents already, so there's a wee bit of time for friendly trash-talking 'til the next stage starts! -
Jedi Duel - Introduction & Discussion
pedro replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Legonater asked me to clarify Battle Meditation and I thoguh I'd post me response here for everyone to see... Battle Meditation So my bit of info goes like this: The character can use the Force to sway the outcome of the duel, conferring the following abilities: 1) During the second round the character can opt to reduce the duel by one round. Character automatically blocks when this ability is used. Active. 2) The character always wins Sudden Death rounds automatically. Note: When 2 characters with Battle Meditation duel, their Meditation powers cancel each other out! Battle Meditation is an ability of 3 parts: The first part of the ability is used actively in the 2nd round of a duel as an action. What BM does is shorten the duel to 2 rounds meaning the duel ends there. That's right, no 3rd round. If this leaves opponents drawn equal in health then normally this would lead to a Sudden Death round... which leads to the third part of the ability. Secondly, you never need to worry about using it as an action as it also acts like Force Shield when you use it, cancelling your opponent's action. Bare in mind this is only useable in this capacity in the 2nd round. The third part of BM is passive and means that if a draw is reached at the end of a duel - which would normally lead to sudden death - the Battlle Meditator wins automatically without proceeding to a sudden death round. So technically a character with BM will never have to play a sudden death unless he or she comes against another Battlle Meditator in which case the abilities cancel each other out. So really BM is best used when you've had a great 1st round to ensure your opponent can't come back. It acts as Force Shield so will cancel an opponents action. Even if you choose not to use it'll still secure you with a win should you draw against your opponent. I hope that helps! I've yet to have seen anyone use it effecively yet, but look forward to when it happens. -
