  1. Somewhere there are instructions on how to modify the double x-over the Akiyuki way but can,t now find them. No problem with 3D printed double crossover as all switch’s are independent & are not ganged.
  2. Click this link -http://akiyuki.jp/en/works/1019 Goto the passing moduie and download the PDF which has a parts list.
  3. Ok, when I am up and running again I will do that. Doug
  4. I think I sent you some Flickr links in an email earlier, but not sure if they worked. I had added numbers on some photos showing where each mod is. That was before computer failed, hopefully they are still there.
  5. No, they are in the photostream section, I can,t access them until I get computer repaired.
  6. they run smoother than 24T gears and also look good as eyes. I used the rubber tire solution which also smooth, but may change to 24T white gears as they look quite effective as eyes. Noticed that the lower pair of “support” gears don’ actually engage with the gear rings, so are they needed ?
  7. @Jonas, nice set up with train gbc and other gbc modules. Are the white 24T gears there for “protection” or just to look like eyes .
  8. iiMac Computer booked into Apple store tomorrow for repair. My build can be seen in the galley images on the link to the instructions, you should be able to see some of the mods.
  9. @Ankoku asked me to test build this module following his instructions which once I Had all the parts took me about 4 Days. it was then tested and following a few problems I made several modifications. I will list these here and post more detailed info later as at the moment my main computer is down and has to go for repair so I cannot access my photos etc I am using my wife iPad at the moment ! Modifications, Crank arm mod to operate the stepper mechanism as per @Ankoku advice in his post BUT it requires a 10L axle with two half bushes to replace the 8L axle with stop to prevent axial movement of the axle. I.e 10L axle with stop. Anti jam mod to prevent balls jamming at the loading point as per Ankoku advice, since my mod done I have not had a any jams Improved pillar for tripping the loading arm to release balls into the ball cars, original flexed too much. Improve supports for top ramp to prevent twisting / extra ball retarders / 180 Degs turn using three 11L flexible axles. Turns at ends of other ramps made from Technic parts only. Added an 11L beam to prevent the 36T double gear shifting on the axle once timing has been correctly set, this stops the 36 & 12T gears skipping causing the timing to get out of sync. Once my computer is fixed I will post images and parts required for the various mods.
  10. As requested. Chain uses small sprokets. Train reverser needs modify with 20T bevel /12T bevel gear SPEED UP not reduction as shown in photo. Trip rotor has TWO lobes to get correct timings. Position of pins on chain belt has to be set to prevent any balls discharging from top of lift as train departs using trial & error until correct. 20/12 Reductionis incorrect should be 20/12 SPEED UP.
  11. Do you require just the lift part, or the lift and train reverser ? Lift only, is simple as no timing is required. The two grey shock absorbers are required to keep the lift chain taut. Input hopper is standard GBC.
  12. Sorry no instructions, more info on page 22 7th. Jan. 2019. If you need I can take some more photos. Do you require for a GBC train system or just as a part of a GBC module ?
  13. If you run the video at slow speed (0.25) you can just see the teeth of another 24T gear on the rear side. I am also currently building this module, so far rotating Gear rings with 8 ball carriers have been built. Tried both the 24T gears and car wheels and with the car wheels rotation is much smoother.
  14. Yes on Safari & Firefox & iPad. But none of the earlier posted links work, maybe his privacy settings blocking them.
  15. All I see is "requested URL not found on this server" Tried on Safari and Firefox - same result after entering google log in details.
  16. All I can see is a long file name in the top left corner. Which when clicked takes me to a google log in, enter my Google log in details but all that can seen Is a small No Entry sign !
  17. Now found how to import BSX files on Brickowl & generate a wish list.
  18. Thanks, can work up to 30 deg. angle between the two ramps.
  19. I also have tried this for the 180 deg bend, the balls roll round the bend OK but connection to the two ramp sections awkward. re Import BSC file to Bricklink, found I had an account. Parts list now printed OK. Extra parts for ball carriers now received & have built the ferris wheel gear ring plus the arms in Yellow.
  20. Thanks for the parts list files but how do you use them to see actuall parts ? Re Curve at top ramp. I have been trying various ideas and come up with this, seems to work OK with ball rolling around the curve OK.
  21. Is there a link for instructions for the PG52 Sun ferris wheel. Have parts on order to re-build my current build.
  22. It pays to take a photo before you take mechanisms apart to ensure put back the same or have a very good memory !
