Getting started question
Jurss replied to timtiptoes's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I started buying sets. Then I I realised that I don't have space/place for all repeating parts. Now I buy mostly some parts, mostly those, which are newly implemented, something older rarer. -

That engine placement seems somehow strange. -

I tried different tires. These somehow suited best to build this 2WD motorcle.Generally to create that driven front fork. -

I wanted to include something more. For real offroading it would good to have it lockable. On some surfaces it may be good to have it, as if those wheels could be locked together, then real motorcycle could start to shake back and forward. Did something today This rear mudguard appeared somewhere last week Didn't liked it, made new vrsion Also added seat, second footrests, some lights and also did something in front -

General Part Discussion

Please don't. I understand colloseum, there are lot of small parts, from which it is made. Death star - don't know if that is needed. I don't want anything so big anymore, after building Millenium Falcon. I'm really dissapointed bout it. Worst buy ever. Happily sold.- 5,507 replies

Ineteresting motorbike. That colorscheme could really work. -
looking at this picture, they needed to provide black rims, so that only those inserts (thread gears) are yellow.

[TC19] Wingblade R
Jurss replied to Dazzzy's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If You will keep this 1. You need some bracing there 2. so, there are some 2 more gears? If so, then Yes, angles will be OK. -

Now it becomes clearer, that this will be nice, flat "floor" of bike. I'm afraid, that steering is not ok, first was better. two connectinons by gears means, that there will be noticable slack, also that upper one will not connect firmly to horizontal. And more, it won't be possible to put steering staright, as those two gears will make some angle,it is not "straight" connection. Better try some linkage. -
Yes, it should fit. Good, that there is space between conncetors #2 for some halfbushes, so that axles hold in place firmly. It is recomended to use 8Laxle with stop for camshaft, with the stop at the gear, so that gear really stays in place.

Lego Technic F1 Lotus 98T MOC
Jurss replied to Danifill's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Really good for pure technic and this scale. Isn't it possible to push tips of panels 21,22 in the front? Those, which are on the sides. If he has. And then we can continue with black 3L pins. -
I like that idea with turntables. But the other end of swingarms looks pretty weak. This kind of CVTs I have seen already, but I like jere that improvement with shifted conususes, so that rubber better fits on them.

After building yesterday McLaren Senna copy from parts I have, this was next in list for me. Now I won't need to think so much, how to build it from parts I have. Thank You!
