  1. Allow me to keep the thread from stopping due to phaman68's lack of new set and potential ban in the near future... 4095
  2. Ralph Brooks! Very here and very quaint! I love my hat! It was given to me by my grandfather. It is made from the hide of a plastic beaver!
  3. Duplo and LEGO are already both used in some of the "Serious Play" sets, so that wouldn't be anything new. I do agree however, that Duplo will likely not be the villains. I wouldn't assume The Underminer is the villain of Incredibles 2, and it's basically the same type of shtick.
  4. I think it has more to do with the film affecting the market, not the other way around. The film will not flop because Target had merchandise on clearance. The merchandise is on clearance because of a someone's statistics showing that nobody wants the merchandise, most likely because they don't care for the film, for whatever reason.
  5. Why the heck did you put Wall-E as number 10? Wall-E is my personal favorite, of the ones I've seen. I still haven't seen Toy Story yet, which is crazy, as I consider myself a fan of Pixar. I haven't seen The Good Dinosaur either, nor have I seen any of the sequels with the exception of Finding Dory and Toy Story 3. I only watched Toy Story 3 before the other two because it was a group thing, it wasn't my choice. I don't do that.
  6. and their tenses, unfortunately for the literary integrity of the tale.
  7. That is clearly fake because she doesn't have misprinted eyes. All the real Disney figures have misprints.
  8. Unless they're just dummy codes and there's a spot online to input them but they do nothing. People love dummy codes.
  9. Break a leg!
  10. I had believed I'd found it, but you potentially just ruined it by pointing it out. Dang it, Sci.
  11. Hum. I had a lot of faith in it when it was Lord and Miller's writing, but I don't have much confidence now... I hope I'm wrong.
  12. You have to remember, a film studios main goal is to make money. Not movies, money. I agree that this is all a marketing ploy. I will refrain from participating in any of the political gender role junk, but I will put my two cents in for this portion. As long as the studio makes money, they're happy, even if the film is poorly received. The way they've set it up, the target audience is Ghostbusters fans who will see it even if they hate it (Or don't.), feminists, anti-feminists (Those two alone make up a huge amount of people, I would imagine), and the people who just hear about the controversy and go see it for that. That's a lot more people than if they'd made a Ghostbusters 3 and just drawn the Ghostbuster fan crowd and a few stragglers. I think it is an extremely clever (And morally ambiguous, messing with emotions and crating a schism) marketing trick, and whoever thought it up deserves a raise and a hug.
  13. I wonder what the chances are that LEGO will do another one of the Minifigure Raffle things they did for Series 13. I liked that. It got me to buy a few more than usual (Which ended up paying off for me, awesomely), so I think it probably makes them some more money, and it's just fun.
  14. My gosh, why can't we all be reasonable patient adults? I mean, besides the fact that we're waiting for a plastic toy version of a whimsical castle from a cartoon company whose target audience is kids... never mind, I don't think patience can be expected from this crowd.
  15. I supported it, Blondie-Wan. Your pitch worked.
  16. It was, in actuality, x104Black. A distant cousin. The Nexo Loving gene is heavier on that side of the family.
  17. Having killed a character right after it was introduced, x105Black
  18. dangerous.
  19. I sure hope it's the same size as the original Idea. This is the first set in a long time that I've felt the need to buy. I want to buy a lot of others, but this one is a must have for me.
  20. Three of each is a necessity. If you don't get three of every Collectible Minifigure, you're way behind.
  21. What are you talking about? Where Are My Pants Guy is the most important character of the entire film.
