The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Actor Builder replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Alright, I'll speculate. $9.99 Harley Quinn's best Friends - Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and one of the Catwomen. $19.99 Riddler's Griddlers. The Riddler has a restaurant where he makes things he calls Griddlers. Chef-Batman is working there, and one of the Catwomen. $29.99 Outer Space Clayface - Clayface and Batman with a Bat-Spaceship. Also, random Penguin with no space suit. $39.99 Bane's Planes - Two Planes. One holds bane. One holds Scarecrow and someone else. Batman has a Bat-Jetpack. $49.99 Two-Face Death Race - Two-Face has a truck that splits down the middle into two weird bike things. There is also a Batmobile, a Mr. Freeze Mech, and a small structure of no significance. One of the Catwomen is here as well. $69.99 Batcave Bat Rave - terrible annoying glowy lights a la "Batman Forever" and "Batman And Robin". Also some Bad Guys. $79.99 Killer Croc's Exploding Docks - Killer Croc's dentures of Doom rerelease. No docks to be seen. Also, Outback-Batman. OutBatman? no... $99.99 Joker Poker - A Casino with Joker and some thugs playing Poker. Also a Batwing and some dumb play features. -
The Convention - Day 3
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm quite weary of this argument. Yes, it may be more likely to come from a veteran, but that doesn't mean that I (A noob) don't have the logical and moral capacity to do the same. Go back and look at Day 1. I was in favor of a No-Lynch Day 1. Why? Because I didn't feel that killing someone so early in the game made sense. I was one of the main proponents of Lynching our host, because he's not really a player, and the rest of us had decided it was best to vote for someone, whether or not we lynched them. I had no clue who could be Scum at that point, so I voted for our host, as a matter of form. That night, I still (Naturally) had no clue who could be Scum. I stayed at home because I didn't feel justified killing someone without any inkling of who was the right person to kill, just as I had felt during the day. Day 2, I hesitantly joined the "Lynch Frank" train, because I didn't want it to be my fault that we missed our chance. I was unsure of Frank's loyalty. I'm glad to see now he was Scum. Now, insert the counterargument I'm sure someone will bring up: Adone didn't want to Lynch Frank because Adone is also Scum! Well, go back and you'll see that Amelto was actually the last to vote for Frank, and it was a superfluous vote. It was wholly unnecessary, we had already gotten Frank enough votes to lynch, and then here comes Amelto, late to the lynching party, claiming he had needed more time to be convinced. Night 2, the only people who hadn't voted (If I recall correctly) were Tariq J. and ,for all practical purposes, Amelto. I considered my options carefully, because I've never believed in lynching unnecessarily. I even said this on day one. One of my first posts: I had an idea that Tariq J. and possibly Amelto were Scum. I killed Tariq J. first, because I was curious as to whether or not he was immortal. I felt quite bad, honestly, immediately after sending in my night action. Our host very kindly gave me a pep-talk, for which I was thankful. When I saw that Tariq J. was truly scum, and I was correct, I was truly ecstatic. So, in short, the reason I didn't kill on Night 1, unlike most other noobs, apparently, is that I was scared to make a dumb mistake as a noob, and potentially lose the game from the beginning. I had hoped to make my point without blatantly accusing Amelto, or using his past words against him, but apparently I did not succeed in that. My only mistake thus far has been to introduce what I believed to be a viable new strategy to consider. I now understand that my optional strategy would not be best, as we have a blocker on our side. Being a noob, I didn't see all the options, and being a creative person, I invented a new one. I implore you all, please lynch the right person tonight. I am the Vigilante, and as much as I hate to say it, Amelto is the scum. Vote: Amelto Inzerillo (mostlytechnic) I know that being Town, I'll win either way, dead or alive, but I'd much rather it be alive. At the very least, if you lynch me, be certain to block Amelto. His claim to "Kill the next probable scum" instead of being blocked is illogical and atrocious. Letting the Scum (him or me, depending on who you believe.) do that instead of Blocking him would result in two town deaths. I don't know why he would suggest that, but I also made a poorly planned suggestion, so I harbor no animosity against him on that front. Thank you for listening. Godspeed. -
Creator Expert 10252 Volkswagen Beetle

I'm liking this a lot. I don't have the MINI Cooper or The Ferrari (Although I want both.) but this may be a justifiable skip from the lineup, just so I can have both (recent) VW sets. I actually have a second Camper Van set I bought at a thrift store for $10. Does anyone have any ideas on a cool thing to do with one? I've been trying to come up with a good idea. All I have in mind right now is power functions/remote control capability. But I digress, this little car looks very nice. Maybe I'll sell my extra Camper to buy this... So maybe I didn't actually digress. -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Hopefully in a not-too-large set. After seeing The Force Awakens, he's the only character I want in LEGO form...so I can put him next to Gollum and have an Andy Serkis LEGO Shrine. -
Stripe has Satyr legs? That's kind of weird. I feel like he's too tall, but recolored Satyr legs are fun, so...I'd say it's a wash. A very good wash, considering it's LEGO Gremlins, but a wash all the same.

That is a good plan, if the mechanics work out. I'll be the first to admit I don't know all the mechanics of Mafia. I would like to humbly suggest that we lynch Amelto, and block me, if we go this route. Also, Most everything that Amelto has said in favor of lynching me, I can say the same for him. I don't care to continually drag his name through the mud, but just because I haven't said much in a while doesn't mean I agree with what Amelto is saying. Rather I do agree with the essence of it, but I expect that we're all smart enough (even us noobs) to know that his arguments can go the other way as well, with me as the Vigilante, and him being Scum. -
Ooh! Gizmo looks a lot better in that picture! I still like Stripe better in LEGO form, but at least Gizmo is looking more Gizmoey.

I don't understand the most efficient way to use this new version. However, I didn't ever understand the most efficient way to use the old version either. I never ordered anything from Bricklink because I had such a hard time figuring out what the best prices would be.

I wonder if the "Buildable Stories" instead of separate Video Games means the death of the preorder exclusive...

I believe the idea of a scarecrow that is scary is basically public domain. It's already in the name, after all. Go right ahead, although Robert8 might beat you to it.

I can see the argument for this, but I would like to recommend not making the face more "feminine", if you know what I mean. Perhaps a different expression might be nice, but please don't add lipstick or weird stuff that a scarecrow (Or robot or Cyclops), female or not, wouldn't wear. I think it looks good right now, personally. It might be fun to make it an "Evil" variation instead of a female one, or better yet: Do both! Make it an evil female scarecrow!

I notice in that last update you have the white Balin The Dwarf hair/beard combo thing, but it also came in Light Grey in the Scooby Doo Lighthouse. Also, I think you missed Angelica's Hat/Hair combo from Pirates of The Caribbean and the Bad Guy from The Lone Ranger's Hat/Hair combo.

Using Minifig Cake Mold for giant bar of bodywash soap?
Actor Builder replied to legoman19892's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Fill it with melted LEGO of your color choice, perhaps with yellow head and hands, and separate colored torso and legs and make a giant LEGO figure, from LEGO pieces... Not quite purist, but a very macabre thing to do. A Giant Minifigure made from the parts of other minifgures... -

Oh, I didn't think of that. Thank you for edifying me. I guess any new idea is potentially worrisome. I thought it might be fun to introduce a new tactic, but I didn't think about all the unknown variables involved that might prevent it from being viable. And no, I won't worry about the noob thing. -

Why don't you make a giant Ice Cube next, write an enemy's name on it, stand it up outside in the heat and watch it melt him away. It might make you feel good inside, for a little bit. -

what kind of game mechanic might cause that, if we are down to the last scum? I'm not arguing with you, because after all, noobs aren't likely to be smart , but I'm actually just curious. -
The Convention - Day 3
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Precisely. Well, I based that idea off of the general consensus we've had from day 1, and the fact that your last post comes to the same logical conclusion: My plan cuts out the lynch, and cuts out the potential for error. The Vigilante, you or I, will kill the Scum, you or I, and the Scum will most likely reciprocate. That makes one Town dead, before the game is over, as you and I both have claimed it would be, though we could both be wrong/lying about the number of Ultimatio. It cuts out the middle man, so to speak. Plus, it could give our host some great inspiration for an epic battle between the Brothers as a fantastic climax before the falling action and denouement. This idea is in favor of the Town, based off what has been determined already: 2 days max. I simply intend to make it 1 day max, at the potential (probable, in fact) loss of my own life. If I'm going to die, I want to be a martyr for a worthy cause. I would think you'd want the same for yourself. -

I think there's definitely room for personal growth in the Inside Out host. Is her name Riley? So, yes. Lots of room for a sequel. Hopefully it's not too soon though. long as it's not "Outside In" with all the emotions escaping, I think it would work.- 279 replies

The Convention - Day 3
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thank you. But I believe I have a better idea. The game is over in two days max, unless there are more scums that we don't know of. I know that I'm Town, and will win the game whether I'm alive or not due to the probable course of events. So, Option A: Lynch the Vigilante, and the Scum gets a free kill before he's lynched the next day. 2 Town dead. Option B: Lynch the Scum, and the game is over. 0 Town dead. Clearly, option B is the right answer, but seeing as it's a 50/50 chance that either of us is telling the truth, I suggest this: Option C: No lynch today, and let the two killers do their thing. Man vs Man, Adone vs Amelto, Vigilante vs Scum. The Vigilante will kill the Scum, no doubt. The Scum will either kill the Vigilante or somebody else. 1 Town dead. If we do this and everyone else refrains from night actions, we'll know who was right, minimize our losses, and we don't form an angry mob. And, either I or Amelto gets to be a martyred hero. Win-Win-Win I hope we can all see the sense in this. I don't want unnecessary killings or lynchings, and this seems to be the best option for the Town I love. -
