mallou replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Fantastic temple and superb boat. I reealy lile the details on both. If i was you i would have finished the details at ground around the temple. Feels a little unfinished. But overall very well executed. Great job -

Ah built it and then all i kept was the moto :) i used the purple doors on the mansion tough. But overall it inspired me the theme but all buildings were original. I like the mansion but was not enough realistic for this kind of diaporama. Tanks my friend.

Hey everyone, I'm very glad to show you guys my latest creation. When I received this Scooby Doo set (Mystery Manson) from my wife. The first thing I wanted to build around was a Haunted Village were all the team could be investigating. So here is the result. I personally think it is my most achieved moc I've done and I'm very happy with it. Hope you guys like it :) C ya around. tanks for moving :) about the classic way I'm still working on my building techniques. next castle might use more modern techniques. well see :). but I'm happy you liked it.

Hi Gideon, Tank a lot for your opinion. I thought this was the forum for historical theme Mocs. I don't comfortable to post it again on main forum page. but next time I will. no I didn't keep anything, once it's finished and I took my photos, I usually dismantle everything. not sure about the faction. you seem to know it better so I believe you.

fantastic! great choice of colors, I like it that even the turtle seems to refer your version :) keep it up

superb work here I like the beach part a lot :)

Thanks to everybody for your kind comments. This MOC took me about 8 months to complete. At the end I couldn't stand it anymore and wanted so bad to move on another project but couldn't before this one was finished (since it was taking all my work space). After this experience, I'm not sure I will do any MOC that big in near future. but I had a lot of fun and it wont be my last medieval theme MOC for sure!

Hi all, I've not been posting since a while and this is because I was working on a big project. I had all these castle parts laying around and never found the opportunity to work on a real medieval build. So this is my fist castle theme MOC.I made it in peace and in War version. Hope you guys like it. Thanks! Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time. From my part it was one of the great ones. When my wife came to me by the end of November with the city advent calendar (60099) as a pre holydays surprise gift I was very happy and saw in it the opportunity to involve my 3 years daughter to her first Lego experience (small Lego of course). So we did every day's build together and by the end I was impressed how good she became at building. she did understand the vocabulary and building steps. In the end it was a very fun experience for both of us. What she did not know is that in the meantime she was doing all her daily builds I was building a winter village in which she would play the 24 December. I've put a lot of details and some fun to play features. She liked it and we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of the village. Thanks everyone! haha cool thing man great job

Incredible job man insane dragon
-
nice start, you got some good techniques and in my opinion 2 masts ships look the best (shorter and more realistic) tanks for sharing
-
I'm not sure I like it. not my type of mod, I find it too modern looking and it loses something the original has. your veals looks realy good considering its paper ones I was surprised when I read it was paper. the clown meh I guess I like my classics too much. :P Tanks for sharing :)
