  1. All right, so the model provided has groups for pretty much every piece of furniture, which makes this really easy. So if you click on the groups tab with the model open, you'll be able to scroll through all the individual items. Just click on the group picture to select the item. Then you can click on the templates tab, make it a new template, and switch to a new file. Then import the item from the templates.
  2. Giant flying steam engine! That's awesome!
  3. Awesome! It feels like a garage!
  4. Awesome concept! I wish it was a set.
  5. Alright, here is a post from brickcommander regarding what he uses as a Lego designer. originally in response to CM4Sci
  6. The easiest way to do it would be to move out any groups that were in the model you downloaded. Do you have a link to the file you are using? I'd like to take a look at it. If there are no groups you'll have to use the multiple selection tool (press V) and select every piece of let's say the arcade machine before dragging it.
  7. LDD's instruction generator doesn't put out instructions that work like normal set instructions. It lacks some logic, which leads to steps where it will tell you to put bricks inside areas which have already been completely blocked. Blueprint isn't automatic, because you have arrange the steps yourself, but you get better results. You said earlier in the topic that you want to figure out which parts you need. Maybe you would be better off just selecting the parts you want out of the model and moving them into a new file, where you can take each piece apart.
  8. We can whip up a batch of pie that eats tree-huggers too, right?
  9. 30 to SpacerSteve.
  10. I believe Calabar meant to say blueprint. Bluerender is for rendering.
  11. It's just this simpsons image, which was linked on the previous page. http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2014/01/LEGO-Simpsons-House-4.jpg
  12. Without the mod, you can't see any spaces between bricks of the same color, like the hood of your car. It also lets you do some other stuff as detailed in bublible's topic.
  13. Using the Mod? Unpack the zip Cut, copy however you want. Move them into the smae folder you run bluerender out of. Let it overwrite any files it wants to. Then run Bluerender as usual.
  14. Nice! Although Koro totally needs to wear Black and Green sometime soon.
  15. LDD's instruction generator is pretty bad. And at the size of the GBHQ, it's probably straining. Am I correct in understanding that you modified the official set, and you want to make instructions for your version?
  16. Go get bublible's mod to make it even better! Brick seams!
  17. I thought we agreed to gives the pies big sticks, and let them do the whacking!
  18. Tags: Spaceship Location:F10 - Arium Major I have been dispatched by my commanders to the Arium Major system, in order to protect our small holdings from Octan's forces. I was given an advanced prototype for the mission, which is only known by the project name: Project Exodus. Given it's classified status, i'm not entirely sure what this thing is supposed to do. We based the design on a stolen M.A.N.T.I.S. craft, which was in need of some serious weapon upgrades. Octan bettter stay away from our territory. For Kawashita! Back view: OOC:
  19. Mediumsnowman's new title: Where are the Scores?
  20. Nocturnus is Rising....

  21. Great atmosphere for the build. The colors and the minifigures convey the gloom hanging over the mitgardians really well. The chapel looks great, especially the roof, but i feel like there should be a third step for the entrance.
  22. Correct! We have a winner!
