  1. It’s from 76112, the App-Controlled Batmobile. Yes, it’s meant to be Batman’s Arkham Knight suit; Lego was never going to do a set based on those games, so including the design in this set instead is cool.
  2. From the official description for 76097: "The mech features... attachment points for 3 collectible Energy Infusers". So, batteries for the mech, basically.
  3. It's been claimed by Just2Good that Lego wants HP to be an "evergreen" (i.e. an ongoing) theme. If this wave sells as well as we all hope, there's no way they won't make a new Chamber of Secrets sooner or later. Given the quality of the beasts in the Newt's Suitcase set, I wouldn't even mind if the Basilisk was brick-built, maybe with a new moulded head. They only made the little Basilisk in the Great Hall because it needed a "baddie" for the heroes to fight, there's no reason to think they won't make a bigger, better Basilisk in a future set.
  4. Both sides have the mask, one side has a slight smile, the other has an angry expression.
  5. Just a guess, but a Lex Luthor minifig leaked a while ago, in a blue Superman-themed power suit from the new Rebirth comics. It’s almost certainly that.
  6. CM4Sci said on Reddit the other day, in a thread about a second wave of Infinity War sets, that “There’s only an Ant-Man and the Wasp set coming” (as has just been revealed). I hope he’s wrong for once, but I’m not holding my breath.
  7. Kids don't need to have read the books to enjoy HP. Give them a "good guy", a "bad guy", a cool magical animal, and maybe some of those new colourful blast pieces for spells, and they can make their own stories. Then, as they grow up, they will hopefully read the books, and want to get the "regular" Lego sets.
  8. Aren't there meant to be two retailer exclusives, a HP Quidditch set, and a FB set with young Dumbledore? If so, we're still missing the price for one set, unless I've completely misunderstood something. Sir von Lego is from Germany. Also, I don't mean to be rude, but Lego is a European toy, and you're on a website called Eurobricks. The price not being in American money isn't that unusual.
  9. I'm disappointed the Unikingdom box doesn't come with "the Dog" from TLM, but it all looks like bizarre creative fun! I hope this theme does well.
  10. So long as he actually looks a bit more like Peeves this time! I realise he wasn't in the films, but he was always described as brightly-coloured and solid (unless invisible), unlike the ghost minifigure. I think he had a jester's hat in the books, too; if they have a "ghost" in a new set wearing Harley Quinn's classic hat in a new colour, I'll be very happy, no matter what they officially call him!
  11. Hopefully, the lack of arm & leg printing actually bodes well for these being physical minifigs! If they were all dual-molded and covered in printing, it would probably mean they were just from the imagination of the game designers, rather than a Lego designer on a budget. That Ghost looks awesome, and Wasp is long overdue a minifig.
  12. I remember a designer called Brent Waller (no relation of Amanda, hopefully) talking last year about being approached by Lego to help design some of the various classic Bat-vehicles. I don't know how much was him, and how much was other designers, but I found a Flickr page with a few of his designs here, if you're interested.
  13. Has anyone confirmed that the HP D2C is actually Hogwarts? Lego is bringing out new trains this summer, and I was wondering if we might be getting a new Hogwarts Express / Kings Cross station? I have no insider info, this is pure speculation, but it would solve the whole "two Great Halls" debate. (Unless a trusted leaker has actually confirmed what the D2C is, in which case I apologise!)
  14. Nice to have a bit of confirmed information. I wonder if we'll get Snape as well, given his absence from the Great Hall. I really want a new Alan Rickman minifig (RIP). You sure you didn't just activate the Invisibility Booster by mistake?
  15. Amazon USA lists it (including "w/mini fig" for the DVD edition, but not the Blu-ray), but I don't think it's been mentioned before. Hope we get an exclusive Aquaman villain we'd never get in a set (ala Trickster).
  16. Spinosaurus only ate fish. T-Rex couldn't run long distance. Most dinosaurs had at least some feathers. Didn't Dr. Wu admit that all the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park / World are what people expect a dinosaur to look like, rather than bearing much resemblance to reality? So long as any mosasaur looks film accurate, I'll be happy. Hope the submarine is cool, too!
  17. It doesn't look like the Arkham logo to me: I think it's just the word BATMAN in white against a black Bat symbol. Similar style, but not the same. The other summer Batman sets don't have that logo, but there's space for it, so I assume they will all be branded as such, to distinguish them from the Justice League sets that have just come out.
  18. That's a brown dinosaur (or possibly a cuddly toy, according to some rumours, have to wait and see). Baby Blue is the same colour as adult Blue in the new sets.
  19. Batman, Batman Beyond, and an OMAC soldier, I think. EDIT: Never mind...
  20. There's a prelim image going around of the CMF series box; just white with purple, and the Unikitty logo. It says it has 60 bags, same as "regular" CMF series' (I don't know if that's the same as Mixels), and it says it has a release date of "Augusti 2018" (I don't think it's a stretch to assume that means August), and then "Utgar i December 2018" which is apparently when it will be retired. Do all CMF series' have a fixed lifespan like this? No idea if it's real, but I thought you might be interested.
  21. That would be awesome, if only because we’d finally get a proper Raven! Brother Blood, HIVE, the Brain, Terra... there’s a lot of material for potential sets. I don’t know how well the DCEU sets are selling (what with the mixed reaction to the films), but I’m hopeful we’ll get more comics-based sets, and Teen Titans would be good for the summer sets after the Justice League sets that have just come out.
  22. Some people can afford £650 for the Millennium Falcon. People who were kids when HP first started are now adults... with more disposable income (well, some people, not me sadly). People are arguing about the Great Hall... maybe Hogwarts will have a “regular” Great Hall, and the set is based on a particular scene? The Yule Ball, maybe, or the final duel with Voldemort?
  23. Yeah, a story with Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis) travelling back in time to stop Brother Eye from assimilating the world. So... we might be getting Batman Beyond?!
  24. There are new rollercoaster pieces in the Lego Batman Movie Joker's Manor set, and a new Pirates-themed Creator rollercoaster sometime this year.
  25. Maybe the Hogwarts D2C won’t be minifig scale? The SHIELD Helicarrier was scaled for trophy-sized microfigs, but had some exclusive minifigs for display (and to boost sales). So maybe the Great Hall will be a playset with lots of minifigs, and Hogwarts will just be a detailed model (with a few exclusive minifigs, no doubt).
