  1. I'd love the (potential) chocolate frog cards to be printed tiles, but without a five-sided tile piece I don't know if that would look any good.
  2. Most of the D+ show characters will pop up in later movies (Wanda in Dr Strange 2, her kids will be in a Young Avengers movie someday, Sam as the new Cap will almost certainly be in a New Avengers movie, etc), but I don't see where Loki might turn up. I wonder if we'll get a Loki TV show set, while minifigs of other D+ characters will be left until their movie debuts. If nothing else, it means that the dreaded "concept art" inaccuracies of past minifigs won't happen again!
  3. They also made the Bricktober pack with Umbridge and Slughorn, in case the theme didn't get as far as the later movies, so we would get figures of most of the key characters. Making a theme based on 10 to 20 year old films was a gamble, but one I'm so glad has paid off.
  4. Honestly, we could get a whole range of Moments sets on the various DADA teachers. Lockhart and the Pixies, Lupin and the Snape-Boggart, Moody and the spiders, Umbridge and the detentions in her office.
  5. The sets will never have EVERYTHING that we want... but combined with the CMF, hopefully we'll get just about all of the missing Endgame characters. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the sets have glaring omissions just so people will get the CMFs as well (think HP's Moaning Myrtle being in a CMF instead of the upcoming girls bathroom set).
  6. The top news story I've found about DC Comics ending is from We Got This Covered .com, so... not a trusted news site. There have been rumours of DC Comics being up for sale for a while now, but in a world where fresh exclusive content from well-known IPs is increasingly valuable, I'd be shocked if the publisher of Batman didn't find a new owner.
  7. I'd love Lego to get the Pokémon licence, and they could get around the main problem most merchandise has: how do you pick WHICH of the 900+ Pokémon to feature? Not everyone wants endless Pikachu, Eevee & Charizard (just don't tell Game Freak that). Lego could make sets like their Classic building sets with a range of bricks and instructions on how to build various Pokémon, so you can build your favourite (cough Scizor cough), or even design your own using the pieces. You might have an electric themed set with mostly yellow pieces, Pikachu on the box art and instructions on making various yellow Pokémon, etc. I know many people don't like brick-built creatures compared to moulded, but Lego making nearly a thousand new single-use moulds is... unlikely, to put it politely. Throw in an exclusive minifig in each set, and it sounds like something Lego might make. Hopefully, if they make more live-action movies like Detective Pikachu, Nintendo will want to make more merchandise to promote the franchise, and my wishlisting may come true!
  8. I'd much prefer a comics CMF, akin to the one DC got (all the classic comics costumes we'll never get in sets, like Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch), but I suspect Marvel will want any CMF to be MCU-based to help promote Disney+. And, honestly, if it helps fill in the gaps from the awful Endgame sets, that wouldn't be a bad thing.
  9. Add the Flying lesson with Madam Hooch, and you've got a full set of 4! They'd change her from the minifigure pack version (maybe give her the Nakia hair in light grey), but they have already reused some characters from that pack, just not the same design. Have Draco and either Harry or Neville with the Remembrall as the students, and you've got a remake of the old Flying Lesson set 4711.
  10. That's a shame, but at least it means if they do more classes in future we could get a Care of Magical Creatures book with Hagrid without him taking up half the space all by himself!
  11. The owl cages are fantastic!
  12. We've had HP CMFs in 2018 and 2020; IF there is a third series, I would expect it will be in 2022 to tie-in with the third Fantastic Beasts movie.
  13. Dunno how much screen time all these various Spider-Verse characters are gonna have, but hopefully we'll get some updated minifigs out of it. An updated Doc Ock would be cool!
  14. Angelina Jolie's character Thena isn't in the wave either, yet I'm sure we'll get her as a minifig. This doesn't prove or disprove anything.
  15. Oops, thought it was a first. Sorry.
  16. Brickset's review of the Herbology Classroom shows the student minifigs don't show the necktie colour, it's obscured by the Herbology overalls. It sucks that there is no Hufflepuff jumper to go with the other three houses (even with the inaccurate house crests), but at least these torsos can be used for ANY house taking Herbology, unlike the Gryffindor specific one we got with Neville in the first CMF.
  17. Depending on how many students they include, they could have a good variety of uniforms for all four houses; black robes, grey jumpers, white shirts, Quidditch outfits... plus, including more obscure students who don't fit in a regular set (Percy Weasley, Crabbe & Goyle, etc).
  18. The new book cover piece is cool; I wonder if they might make the seven HP books themselves if these sell well. Maybe it's too obvious, but making the seven books (with a key scene in each one) would be awesome.
  19. Oh! ... oh. Guess it's eBay for me.
  20. I'm not familiar with Eternals history, but is there any chance it's Rama-Tut's pyramid ship? The Eternals have existed for millennia, including ancient Egypt, which in Marvel comics was ruled by the technologically advanced tyrant Rama-Tut. He is better known as Kang the Conqueror, who has JUST been cast for Ant-Man 3. Coincidence? (Yes, probably, but it's fun to speculate.)
  21. So long as the minifigs aren't those micro-dolls from the Disney books, I'm sold! I would prefer "proper" system classrooms to connect to Hogwarts, but since the classrooms aren't actually that important in the films, I understand why they are focusing the "main" sets on the more recognisable set pieces. "Can Harry get to class on time and avoid detention?" isn't nearly as exciting as "Can Harry steal the Horcrux from Gringotts and escape the fire-breathing dragon?!" for a Lego set sitting on a toy shop shelf. So long as we get the minifigs, and can use the pieces in these books to make our own proper classrooms for our Hogwarts displays, I'm in!
  22. I just wish they hadn't put the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Quidditch uniforms in Diagon Alley; putting together a whole team of seven of each team is gonna be a nightmare! A Quidditch team pack like the current student pack would have been better, and QQS could have had the uniforms for the Chudley Cannons and the Holyhead Harpies instead (Ron and Ginny's favourite Quidditch teams), to match their themed bedrooms from the Burrow!
  23. Diagon Alley looks beautiful, pink gelatinous cube and all! The only mistake is the flat roofs of most of the buildings; yes, it's accurate to the movie set, but that's because the set was limited by how tall the studio is, not how tall the buildings "should" be! I'll definitely be adding some sloping ye olde roofs to them at some point!
  24. Lego don't want to hype something before you can actually purchase it, and to stop bootlegging companies like Lepin from copying the set from the pictures and selling their own version of it.
